I came to the Morgan Hill location today to double check and ensure I had purchased the correct bulb to replace my right taillight outage. I purchased a bulb yesterday from the O'Reilly in S San Jose, but was not 100% confident it was the correct size for my Subaru. Jared, one of the associates, confirmed it was the correct size, and offered to install and replace bulbs on both the right and left taillights. Jared was very courteous, knowledgeable and efficient in replacing these. I was quite impressed with the level of customer service he displayed, and just want to acknowledge how much his assistance and kind demeanor made my day. Absolutely zero stars. Do not buy tools here especially power torque tools. They will not honor your warranty. Go across the street to autozone and buy duralast tools or ace hardware on tenant. I tried to warranty my screwdriver that broke cus I was taking off a tight screw and the employee there accused me of abusing my tool / putting a grinder on it. I told him no that didn't happen. Great customer service. I came here looking a light bulb for my Infiniti G35. I forgot which gentleman helped me but he was helpful. I asked if they install. He said it's not hard to get to then he could. Yet with my car he couldn't. Ugh infiniti.... I actually had to come back and return the item because my headlights started working!!! Weird huh!! Well my friend said it was just loose. The other gentleman who helped me just asked one question (if I had installed it) Which I had not. He kindly refunded it and that was that. I had an issue with my battery and went to Autozone to have it replaced. The guys at Autozone obviously saw a young woman walking in and thought, "this girl knows nothing about cars..." because three hours later I was still there with 4 different mechanics telling me they could help me and a laundry list of things I needed to buy... for a dead battery! I was so frustrated that I called O"Reilly's (which is just across the street) and what do you know? They replaced my battery, cleaned out the corrosion in the battery bolts, and even washed my car. The whole process took about 20 minutes! They were friendly and professional. They didn't treat me like I was an idiot, or try to sell me things I clearly didn't need. My battery died while I was at work, my boyfriend was kind enough to call and get my one at the Autozone across the street, they told him they would happily replace it and even give me a store credit to recycle my battery. I get there, they can't find the purchase for awhile, when they finally do they just hand me the battery... I asked if anyone could replace it (like we were told) and they said they couldn't... After realizing all auto shops were closed, I went over to O'Reillys and was immediately helped by Adrian and Malera, they didn't even mind that I bought the battery elsewhere! My motorcycle did not turn on as it was pushed over on it's side. My flashers on the motorcycle were flashing for about a day. I did not know why it would not turned on so i push it a block away to the Oreilly store and there I found Store Asst m, Josh there. He said the battery was dead but all else was good. He plugged the motorcycle into the charger and waited for awhile. The motorcycle still was not charged fully as the store was closing. Josh helped us out and let us charge the motorcycle via through the extension cord outside the store. What a Angel Josh was! He was professional and down to earth as they come. No stars. My elderly mother purchased Parts for her 1998 Dodge 3500. The Parts they sold her DID NOT PERFORM!!! The rear brake drums, shoes, and pads were faulty. They were under warranty. 2 weeks after purchase and install she went to return them. The shoes were in the box but the drums were not. JOSHUA totally brushed her off stating "the shoes are not sold by us and the drums do not have a box so I cannot verify Parts number" EVEN THOUGH SHE HAD HER RECEIPT!!!! My poor mother came all the way home to inform me of this. I phoned them and spoke with manager "Luis," he finally informed me that he will honor the warranty especially since we had the receipt in hand. Both my mother and I returned to the store to finalize the return and JOSHUA continued to defend himself stating he wasn't aware the shoes came from the store...even though they were on the receipt, and the drums had no box so he couldn't verify they came from them. I tried to calmy explain all he had to do was take 2 minutes out of his day to look at the part number on the drums, as well as the receipt for both shoes and drums. I WILL NEVER RETURN. NOT ONLY ARE THE PARTS FAULTY, BUT THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR REFUND unless you make a scene. read more

I came to O'Reilly last night literally 5 minutes until they were closing. My daughter's car need oil desperately so we ran in. I told them what kind of car she had and they said it need synthetic oil. I don't know the girl's name but she went and got the oil for me. She was very helpful. While I was paying for the oil, the guy that was working there was outside putting the oil into my car. I didn't ask him to, but he took it upon himself to help me out. If had gone to Walmart (which I NEVER shop there) I wouldve bought the wrong oil and put the wrong stuff in her car. It would've ruined something. The customer service was outstanding.
