I come to this location often to pick up oil for our vehicles oil changes, break pads and rotors and sometimes to trade in my battery for a new one. The last time I came in my car had a check engine light on and the gentlemen working did a free test on my car to see what the light meant. It's awesome they provide this free service. Mine ended up being a faulty sensor but it was nice to know if I needed a tool to fix it I could have used their borrow program they offer as well. My first visit here even though it's almost walking distance from my home. I am so grateful that my car loves me so much that when the battery decided to die, it did so in my driveway! AAA confirmed the dead battery and gave me a jump to get it fixed. They recommended o'Reillys and I called, they confirmed they had the correct battery for my car. Went there hoping they would be able to install the new one for me, AAA said it was just three bolts. Even though it was very early in the morning and they were somewhat short staffed, they went out of their way to help me and installed the new battery! Went in today to buy wiper blades. Ask to have them installed. I was greeted immediately at the door by a very friendly lady. She searched for my parts and brought me two options. After selecting the blades I wanted she went outside and started to install them. She did some difficulty but found a man inside who was able to help. Overall the experience was easy and quick. I've been here a few times, and each time there has always been a staff member happy to help me find what I need. Recently I actually read the signs outside the door and realized they recycle your used oil for free!! how awesome is that? no more waiting for that one time a year that the dump lets you bring your hazmat. All you do is bring in your oil, go to the spot in the store and pour the oil into the drum (funnel provided). there is even a garage to dispose of the container you brought it in. So the other sign I noticed, was that they offer free check engine light checks. Yup, no need to pay a general mechanic or even worse the dealer, to find out why that little light is on. bring it on in and they will check it for you!! I once had to return a part that I bought, and there was no issue at all. they had my name in the system, so it was quick and easy. I went in this location to buy some parts and drop off a bit of oil. There were a few employees and not one customer. I proceeded to come in with the oil and right away one of the employees yells out, "our oil drums are full" with a smirk on his face. I said, well can you just put these two gallons of oil next to your full drum (Since I bought all the oil there) and he said no and that I should do it at another store, preferably the AutoZone across the street. The computer didn't have info on the back wipers so I had to goto the counter for help. After a couple minutes the guy behind the counter helped me look up the back wiper. Since there were a couple different options I had to go out to get the wiper off the car, the guy inside couldn't come out to help since he was the only person working at that moment. The staff there was VERY helpful and even switched out my battery for me. Ironically, they did the same thing for my teenage daughter last week, including switching out her windshield wipers. DO NOT BUY LIQUID VENT AIR FRESHENERS!!!!! A week ago i went into o'reillys to get screws for my license plates and also picked up a car air freshener while i was there. The one i purchased is by a company named Auto Expressions, DO NOT BUY THIS or any liquid air fresheners. I had this product in my car for less than a week when i noticed that it had leaked all over my center dash trim bezel and completely cracked and melted the plastic, i immediately took it off and it leaked all over my hand and started burning my fingers as well. I tried to clean it off my dash but the damage had already been done. After all this i went online and saw that the particular brand i had bought is not the only one that has done this. The reason i am giving o'reillys a one star is the fact they still sell these products despite the hundreds of reviews on how these products have ruined peoples cars and cost them hundreds of dollars to fix. If you want a car air freshener just make sure to buy the ones that hang from your mirror or the cups of scented beads. read more

It's not too often that I am impressed about customer service after walking out of any business nowadays, but this location succeeded! The only reason this store didn't get a full 5 stars is because I've had an employee give me the run around about a hard-to-find part by saying their patent-pending: "We'll give you a call" (they never call; I feel like a dirty, used whore when they say that). Another tech on a different day wrote down the address of some wrecking yard in southern California like 125 miles away rather than just ordering it from a parts re-manufacturer. I later found one and just ordered the part myself, so it all worked out. BUT they redeemed themselves recently: I went here to get a check engine light OBD trouble code read for my car. I half-expected the employee behind the counter to discreetly roll his eyes or something similar, but he didn't even skip a beat. He just grabbed his OBD and followed me out to my car. After reading the trouble code, he popped open the hood, troubleshooted the problem and fixed it right then and there--granted it was just a simple problem-- but still; he found the source of my dilemma, he was super cool about it, and he also offered suggestions on how to fix my loud squealing belts issue. No more check engine light; no more squealing belts all for the cost of some engine de-greaser. Not bad. Not bad at all. read more

Had the guys order a SUV car cover. I left my email and phone number they said they would call in 7-10 business days. The 10 days had passed so I decided to see what the status of the order was. I was told they hadn't ordered it yet and they would have it 2day air mailed it will be here Monday at 11:15. Of course it wasn't in so they said it would be here Tuesday. Tuesday they tell me it was sent on the ground 7-10 days. So it's looking like it will be here next month. I've always had quick, friendly service every time I've gone in. With my last visit, my boyfriend and I were assisted by Jai, who was very helpful. What blew my mind even more was how professional she remained after dealing with a rude, condescending man, who she assisted right before us. Even after finishing with us, she remained patient and calm as she continued to help the man who was obviously not interested in a woman's expertise, despite the fact that she was extremely knowledgeable. I call up asking about a tiny bulb saying I have a mopar part number and the guy says what is it for. No problem but I knew he would have no clue. So I say EVIC unit and he says what? Lol then I tell him they are 3mm long and he says they don't make light bulbs that small with an attitude. When they re-branded this store to O'Reilly from whatever it was before they could have done an internal spruce up to go with the new signage,but alas no. Inside the store is kind of disorganized and it can be hard to find stuff. I can't tell you how many times I've gone in and not found what I needed (don't even bother trying to find windshield wiper blades here). I had a bad experience at this store today. I am a disabled senior and had my gas siphoned during the night so went to O'Reilly to get a locking gas cap but I needed them to look at my existing cap because the guy at the gas station said I was missing something that holds the gas nozzle in when pumping gas. The tall thin guy working there was rude and refused to help me and tried to give me a card for an auto mechanic which he was pushing at me. I have been going to the O Reilly's in Spanish Springs for years and was never treated this horribly. I will now go to Auto Zone! read more

Couldn't believe the piss poor customer service. I went in there to buy some spark plugs. There's only one woman clerk there and I was standing in line (next up) for over 15 minutes and no telling when I was ever going to get waited on as a guy was looking over the part that he was buying. In the end, I gave her a piece of my mind and turned around and walked out. I don't see how they expect to stay in business if they keep this up. I would highly recommend taking your auto parts business anywhere but there.
