My car is old and the sensors are coming on so I'm double checking to be safe!

I was going out of town and had checked my oil. I second guessed myself and thought maybe I needed a quart. I went to my local O'Reilly and asked one of the employees if he would check my oil to see if I needed any. He was friendly and nice and had no problem helping me out. It turned out I didn't need any oil and I was just paranoid. Then he gave me a tip on how to better read my dipstick.

My first visit here even though it's almost walking distance from my home. I am so grateful that my car loves me so much that when the battery decided to die, it did so in my driveway! AAA confirmed the dead battery and gave me a jump to get it fixed. They recommended o'Reillys and I called, they confirmed they had the correct battery for my car. Went there hoping they would be able to install the new one for me, AAA said it was just three bolts. Even though it was very early in the morning and they were somewhat short staffed, they went out of their way to help me and installed the new battery! If I need car stuff in the future, I shall go back to them for sure! A first and very positive experience!

I've been here a few times, and each time there has always been a staff member happy to help me find what I need. Recently I actually read the signs outside the door and realized they recycle your used oil for free!! how awesome is that? no more waiting for that one time a year that the dump lets you bring your hazmat. All you do is bring in your oil, go to the spot in the store and pour the oil into the drum (funnel provided). there is even a garage to dispose of the container you brought it in. So the other sign I noticed, was that they offer free check engine light checks. Yup, no need to pay a general mechanic or even worse the dealer, to find out why that little light is on. bring it on in and they will check it for you!! I once had to return a part that I bought, and there was no issue at all. they had my name in the system, so it was quick and easy. To me this place has everything I need, great service, parts in stock (or quick to order), and free services. This is now my go to place for auto parts needs.

I went in this location to buy some parts and drop off a bit of oil. There were a few employees and not one customer. I proceeded to come in with the oil and right away one of the employees yells out, "our oil drums are full" with a smirk on his face. I said, well can you just put these two gallons of oil next to your full drum (Since I bought all the oil there) and he said no and that I should do it at another store, preferably the AutoZone across the street. So I said, "that's fine, I'll also buy the parts I need there too" and then as I'm walking out, they said something to me that I don't want to share on here, but I will never shop here again.

The damage done to my dash.

The folks there take the time to explain things patiently. I recently had a problem with my trailer and made several trips chasing the problem down. Chris and a couple other folks there took time to troubleshoot and tinker the parking lot in the hot July sun. I am used to great service there, and this was beyond even that.

Their website wasn't working when I tried to schedule an installation, so I called the store directly. The person I spoke with told me to go ahead and purchase the battery online and said they would install it when I came in the next day. Great. That sounded easy enough. I drove across town expecting a quick install, only to be told once I arrived that they don't install batteries on my vehicle's make and model. That would have been extremely helpful information to share during the phone call before I made the trip and purchased the battery. On top of that, they also wanted to charge an additional $40 just to register the battery after installation, which was never mentioned beforehand and honestly felt excessive. Between the website not working, the incorrect guidance over the phone, the wasted trip across town, and the surprise extra charge, the experience felt pretty disorganized and frustrating. I'd strongly recommend calling somewhere else first if you need a battery installed.

Review of Victron Skylla-IP65 Chargers (2x 12/70A units)…read more I purchased two Skylla-IP65 chargers to support a 640Ah LiFePO battery bank, and unfortunately the experience has been disappointing. Positives: - Solid physical build and weather-resistant design. - Capable of high charging current in theory. Failures / Issues: - LiFePO support is poorly executed. The dedicated mode locks charging voltage at 14.2V, which is too low for many LiFePO banks. It cannot be increased from the front panel, and requires external hardware just to unlock basic configurability. - Charging performance is unreliable. Current tapers and drops off far too early, meaning the batteries never receive a full bulk charge. More than 24 hours for my bank, and that is at 2 x 70 = 140 amps. - No easy manual control. A simple "force bulk" option is missing, leaving you stuck waiting for the unit to do what it wants. - Documentation is vague. Critical limitations of the modes are not clearly explained, forcing trial-and-error. Customer Service Experience: About two weeks after receiving the units, I called to explain that these chargers could not be configured correctly for a larger LiFePO bank. Perhaps they might work for a smaller system, but not mine. The person I spoke with was rude--he talked over me repeatedly, then told me I could return them only with a 15% restocking fee. On a $1,600+ purchase, that meant over $240 lost simply because their product doesn't do what it claims. This was a big purchase for me already. When I objected, he brushed me off and said their technical service would call me. No one did for a month and a half. When I finally reached a tech (1.5 months later), he admitted these chargers cannot be properly configured for my bank without buying additional Victron hardware (a Cerbo GX). In other words, the solution to a problem with their product is to spend even more money. Overall: Between the technical shortcomings and the dismissive, slow support, I cannot recommend these chargers. For the price and Victron's reputation, I expected far better. Instead, I've been left with frustration, poor performance, and the sense that Victron is more interested in selling add-ons than making their products work as advertised.

I could drive it carefully but had to hold the door open while driving because the blower was putting hot air inside on a warm day. I went to 3 mechanics, and not one could figure it out and wanted loads of $$$ to check things I knew were not the problem. It was horrible!
