What a darling little sushi restaurant. The service was very attentive. The chef made the food quickly. There does seem to be a pretty formulaic approach to creating their rolls, with most rolls have some variation of cucumber and avocado. Thankfully, the menu features rolls that are light on cream cheese. Cream cheese always seemed like taking the easy way out. The fish topping the rolls was very fair in size and the rolls were appetizing in appearance. Honestly, I love a little hole in the wall plate. Give them a try. It's quiet. Quick. And polite. Side note: no fountain drinks. It's canned soda for you.

Great service. Food was really good and reasonably priced. The bento lunch special combos were a great deal and a good portion of food. The fish here was fresh and tasted good. The miso soup was delicious. The strawberry Ramune soda was delicious! HAPPY SUSHIING!

Visited: January 2026. Monday ~2:30pm. I happened to walk by, asked if they were open, and had the honor of being their first customer! Setting: The restaurant is brand new and spotless. The booth I chose was comfy and spacious. They also have TVs. Wait Time: None since they're still new. I imagine this place will become much busier once others catch on. Food/Drink: I asked if they serve alcohol and was told, "not yet," so maybe a liquor license is in the works? I ordered a Coke and a few food items to try. - Spicy Tuna Bomb ($12.50): Spicy tuna, avocado, and jalapeno on crispy rice. Good flavor and the rice had the perfect crunch. Still thinking about this days later. - Chirashi Bowl ($24.95): A big bowl of fish and toppings over a bed of rice. I can't remember everything in it, but it included salmon, tuna, maybe yellowtail, green onions, seaweed salad, seaweed, daikon radish, and lots of rice. Yummy and filling! - Yellowtail Avocado Cut Roll ($8.95): Delicious! I ordered this one to-go and unfortunately forgot to take a picture. Service: The staff were so warm and friendly! The time between ordering and receiving my food was reasonable. Parking: I walked here, but there's a small parking lot in the back and plenty of free street parking. Next Time: I'll be back soon for more of the Spicy Tuna Bomb and to try their bento box.

this is somewhat a new place & i wanted to try it out! honestly solid 4 stars! i picked up my order right on time through the website. in addition, it was my first bento box & i didn't know what to expect. it was really tasteful! i got korean bbq beef, salmon roll, and spicy tuna roll for my entrees. (my fav was the beef)! & the rice in my bento box tased like it's been sitting and was cold. it comes with miso soup, pretty okay, but there was no seaweed. to rate the sushi it's yummy, but maybe not the freshest, but still good! * the spicy tuna roll (3.5/5): wasn't spicy really and lacked flavor but was decent! * salmon lover (4/5): very fulfilling! but not all of them had eggs.

We tried out this new sushi place called "O Sushi" two weeks in a row. It's located on Valley and Ethel Ave. in Alhambra. We saw that it had a "Now Open" sign at the entrance. It seemed like not many people knew about this place yet. The place is spacious and clean, with some Japanese decorations. We got there around 1 p.m. for both visits, and there were not many people inside. They have a promotion: all rolls are 20% off. The first time I ordered a bento box for my mom, a spider roll, an eel avocado roll, and a salmon avocado roll for my daughters and me. You can choose 3 items for the bento box. The bento box also included a bowl of miso soup. On the second visit, we also ordered a bento box ($17.95) for my mom because she liked more varieties and she did not eat raw food. Other orders were Sashimi Salad ($15.95), Spicy Tuna Roll ($7.95 +20% off cut roll for 8 pieces), and baked scallop roll ($16.95+20% off). We saw that only one guy was making sushi. The service was a bit slow, but the lady was very friendly. My mom liked her bento box with teriyaki chicken, California roll, and shrimp tempura (3 pcs). The Eel Avocado roll and Spider roll also tasted good. The best one was the Sashimi salad. It was very delicious and fresh. However, I waited quite a bit long time for my baked Scallop roll because they almost finished the food, and I was still waiting for my order. Because this is a new business, I hope that they can improve the speed of the order. It's still a nice place to hang out with family and friends because the place is spacious and clean, and their food is delicious. The price is also good with the 20% off for all rolls. Tuna Sushi (2pc)

Horrible tuna quality. Not sure if I was there on an off day because there are so many positive reviews. The prices are fairly low and dine in had some roll sales. I only had salmon, yellowtail, and tuna sushi. Well I couldn't even eat the tuna I was terrified to even try it because it was neon pink. I also had a spicy tuna hand roll that was okay and assorted tempura also okay but the sauce was flavorless. Maybe next time I'll try a roll but I doubt I'll be back because there are so many other great sushi restaurants in the area. Service was okay and the restaurant seemed clean since it's fairly new.

    Assorted Tempura Miso Soup

I've already been coming to this new location regularly since they opened, and it's quickly become one of my favorite sushi spots in the area. The restaurant is always clean, comfortable, and has a really welcoming atmosphere. Today I had the tempura and miso soup, and both were excellent. The tempura was perfectly crispy and light without feeling greasy, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The miso soup was simple but very comforting and flavorful. Also the service was great! Definitely recommend checking this place out!

We discovered a hidden gem of a restaurant. It is very clean, has great service, and offers high-quality food. The ingredients are very fresh, and the seasoning is excellent. We especially love the Salmon Lover and Beef Teriyaki. The beef quality is outstanding--it is hand-cut and marinated in-house, completely different from the tough, rough texture you often get elsewhere.

    Bento Box

Been here twice in one week and the food was good first time I ordered the bento box and it's pretty big for the price. The place was empty, sushi chef came and asked if the spicy tuna wasn't too spicy but it was perfect. There was a strong sewer smell inside the restaurant not sure if it's from the construction going on outside? Went back a 2nd time and the smell was still there, construction is still going on so not sure where it is coming from. Overall the place is good, I had the salmon lover roll, spicy tuna roll and the lobster roll all were very good.

New Japanese Sushi restaurant in town so we had to support. We enjoyed a family dinner out. We were a party of seven. Urna and the owner Richard welcomed us as we entered. They've been open for two weeks, located off of Valley with easy street parking. We all tried the miso soup. The serving size was generous and served pretty hot at the perfect temperature. Loved it! We ordered a bento box, chicken teriyaki bowl all veggies no rice, beef teriyaki bowl no rice with sauce on the side. The shrimp tempura and veggies were so fresh, light and crispy. The seaweed salad was yummy. Also tried an order of salmon sashimi, a yellow tail hand roll, and a salmon lover roll. The portions were generous and the beef was tender and seasoned just right. I favored the regular chicken versus the white meat. We'll be back to try other items for lunch next time. No Japanese beer or saki offered at this time. We need a local Japanese happy hour so we don't have to drive to Pasadena any more.

Absolutely delicious and flavorful sushi. The service was really fast and the waiters were really kind unfriendly. They did a lovely job with the decoration here and the ambience of the vibes is very classy yet casual. The udon Was a little salty though. And I wasn't a big fan of the 911 roll. What otherwise everything was really delicious. The tempura was amazing. It was so fresh and crispy. I highly recommend getting the carpaccios while you're here if you never had them, they're delicious.

I ordered the bento box on door dash and it was good. I was shocked at how much I liked it. Lol I am not a big sushi person. The roll was nice sized and tasted fresh. Beef teriyaki was very tasty as well as the gyozas.

    Hawaiian Roll

I pass by the place everytime I drive home from work and always been curious to try it out. Finally did, and my group and I found it pretty good! We ordered a Hawaiian Roll, Alaska Roll, Salmon Lover, and an order of gyoza. Food was tasty and the fish was fresh. They were having a discount of 20% off for rolls and the prices at the end made the whole meal a really good deal! The server was also friendly and very smiley.

They do have a really wide selection of rolls. The other person in my group got the spider roll and truly enjoy it. However, it was disappointing that there wasn't much variety for non-fried food in the bento combinations. A good bento box should be a balanced meal, but pretty much my whole meal felt fried. Also, the place doesn't fully represent a traditional Japanese aesthetic, it feels alot more like a Korean twist on sushi. Overall, great for the wallet and good rolls, but just okay on the balance of the bento meal.
