I absolutely love poki, and this is probably one of my go to spots whenever I'm craving it. They give a really good amount of protein, which is always a big plus for me. There's also a ton of toppings to choose from, and you get one free premium topping. I always go with the seaweed salad because it's so good. The fish tastes fresh, and the sauces pair really well with everything. Honestly, I don't have many complaints since every time I come here, I leave happy and satisfied. There's plenty of seating if you want to dine in, and it's usually not too crowded and fairly quiet ambience, but takeout is always an option too. Honestly the portions are HUGE ! if HUGE PORTION is what you are looking for , then highly recommend. Probably the largest $15 bowls ever had For me, it was just too spicy, I know I chose spicy tuna and spicy salmon. Because there wasn't a none spicy tuna or spicy salmon one but it was honestly way spicier than I expected. I usually am good with spice. I also did not like the crushed up style I got for both tuna and salmon. I prefer to see more solid cut pieces for poke places, and see them get the fish and ingredients Infront of Me, but this place is different they ask you what you want prior and then give it to you. I like that they have soba noodle, salad , white and brown rice option. A lot of other places may not have soba noodles. I did not like HOW MUCH GINGER I got ... lol way too much. Good service, chill, few seats and tables, not too loud, free wifi and some people were there to work on their laptops while eating quick meal. More like a 3.5, but I'm rounding up. I think it's incredibly bold that this place has only 3 staple proteins (Ahi tuna, salmon, albacore) and the other proteins are premium. In a world with so many other poke places out there that boasts a high amount of versatility in customization, this is quite different and surprised me a bit when I was getting ready to order online for pick up. I ended up ordering the Spicy Trio which includes spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and spicy crab meat. For my base I got white rice. For my toppings I got cucumber, fried onion, masago, furikake, edamame, and sesame seeds. For my sauce, I got miso habanero, which added a lingering burning heat with the spicy proteins. Fish was fresh and decent. It's a hearty serving and I ended up splitting it with my younger brother. Pretty neat that the location has wi-fi, books, and it seems like a place for people to work on things and study. I parked in the structure across the street. Overall, it's an OK Poke place. Can't say it really stands out from other poke places or would be a repeat return for me any time soon. read more

Fresh poke is good, but it's just okay as a poke restaurant. Ingredients are very limited for baseline pricing - for instance, if you want spicy tuna or spicy salmon, this will cost extra which is unlike other poke restaurants I've been to. They do offer albacore as one of the basic protein options which I don't really see, so that would be a plus. Portion wise, it's a bit on the smaller side compared to other places I've been to. I only asked for two sauces, and they put too much that it ended up really drenching the food especially when there wasn't really a lot to soak up all the sauce without getting soggy. read more

Located on a corner on Main Street, it might be easily missed. Pokestuf is the only Poke shop close by so I'm surprised that I never see it packed. We live in the neighborhood and had always wondered if it was any good. Lunch time last week presented the opportunity and we finally remembered Pokestuf was on our list of places to visit. Nice girls working the register and food prep. Only one other person was there so we were able to place our order right away. The typical choices from categories: pick your base, protein, sauces, toppings etc. I do with they have more options for protein. There were 3 fish available only. No shrimp or crab meat or scallops available. There is garlic shrimp available for an additional $2. There additional fees for adding seaweed salad. Free parking is available on the street or a parking lot behind the building. It was a little pricey for the portion size. Taste was okay. I was hoping to be wow'd and find our new regular poke spot. I've had this place since it opened (7-8ish years ago?) and it has always been the most consistent and delicious with its poke bowls. I always find myself craving it and saving it as a special treat every time I want to treat myself out. The main reason why I always come back is the quality and consistency of its bowls. Their fish is always fresh, and their sauce selection hits every time. A lot of other poke places don't have soba noodles, and I always get it here because it's super refreshing and compliments the fish very well. The portions are always good, along with a rewards system that gets you $ off once you rack up enough points. My favorite combo is to get soba noodles, salmon + ahi, mix lemongrass ponzu and spicy mayo, and basically every free topping and any premium topping of your choice. This is a bit of a hole in the wall as people normally take to go. Inside is very clean and has many tables where you can dine at in a casual setting. I want to gatekeep it so bad, but every time I've went there's never been a line and you get your poke bowl super fast. Please do yourself a favor and come get poke here! read more

This place is a disaster. I used to come here often pre-COVID because they have the option of soba noodles instead of sushi rice which not many poke spots offer. The tuna and salmon weren't bad and it seemed fresh until I got food poisoning here last year and stopped coming. I was craving poke the other day and decided to give it another chance... NEVER AGAIN because not long enough I got food poisoning. The moment I walked in, it was a dead giveaway, the store was sort of warm and stuffy. I know I should've left the moment I walked in but I was on lunch break and decided to just take the risk and here I am...I'm almost certain it wasn't being kept at a safe temperature. If the front of the store is that warm, I can't even imagine what's going on in the back. Higher prices, worse quality, smaller portions and food being stored in unsafe conditions. read more
