    SPICY SEAFOOD RAMEN
    Kayla C.

Got the spicy seafood ramen, Mild spicy for me ( I have a high spicy heat tolerance) sea food included clam and 1 shrimp , octopus leg . Ramen noodles reminded me of Maruchan, 9.75 for $1 quality. Over broth is good. Sushi rolls are decent for a sushi train.

This is our go to conveyor belt sushi spot for lunch. Everyone working there is always so helpful and kind. Great prices, solid sushi belt food. Quick. Easy. Always satisfied when we're done. Happy bellies. The staff checks on you often and always makes sure you have everything you need/want. Just the right amount of checking in. Staff is friendly. We've tried other conveyor belt spots in Happy Valley/Clackamas area and they aren't great. O' Sushi is where you should def go.

    Those magic mussels...

If you like conveyer belt sushi then this place is a great place to stop for a quick lunch, dinner or snack. There is always a good selection on the belt and you can also order many other items from your server. We've been here a lot of times and have really enjoyed the food and the service. We always order the Baked Mussels with 'magic' sauce! So creamy and delicious. If you're hungry for sushi in the Happy Valley-be sure to try this place

The price they charge you does not match the price on the menu. They charged me $4.25 instead of $3.50 for house special.

We came after the Xmas bonanza week and they were out of a few things we wanted to try. Even though they were minor bummers, the person helping us was extremely apologetic and provided great service. We probably ordered too much, because the table felt really small. All of the dishes were beautifully presented and they were all delicious. The ambiance itself was semi dark, there was a lot of hustle and bustle, but still quiet enough you can have a conversation. Spicy edamame - Feisty edamame. Why eat boring edamame with you can have some spice with it! Spicy salmon tartare - tempura nori that was fried like a chip, topped with salmon tartare on one side and avocado/cilantro crema on the other. I had to mix it together before eating it, the avo/cilantro side was too rich on its own. 7 spiced calamari - Out :( Ceviche + taro chips - Out of taro chips, we were offered rice instead of chips so we cancelled the order. Chicken Karaage - Fried chicken, no complaints. Fresh wasabi - Out, but my we got to sample a little nugget of it. Spicy tuna crispy rice - YUMMMMMM. We almost ordered this one and the salmon one. Luckily we didn't because an order has 6 pieces. Crispy flavor bomb though, do it. Steak tataki - yum. I remembered liking it, but it wasn't out of this world. Chopped salad - I missed the part it has iceberg lettuce. I was disappointed. In a world of romaine or any other leafy green, why does iceberg lettuce exist on a menu?! Never again. The unicorn - DELICIOUS. This has spicy crab, shrimp tempura, albacore, avocado, jalapeno dressing, gochugaru oil, micro cilantro. So flavorful. Rainbow - Yum. Good classic roll. Haupia pie - out Black sesame brownie - out Ginger pot de creme - I wasn't a fan.. it was chewy mush. The charred orange segment was bland/tasteless. It didn't have the citrus tang the dessert needed. Crystalized ginger was chewy as expected, macadamia nuts are pretty soft as far as nuts go, and the creme. I felt like a different nut would have added better texture. So disappointed our choice desserts were out. We got this as a birthday dessert, so we appreciated that! Overall we had a nice birthday dinner and will likely be back for some of those stand out items we had and try some of the ones we didn't get to!

This restaurant was perfect! Their decor is really cool, with plenty of seating at the sushi bar, the beverages bar, booths, and a small patio courtyard (not much of a view outside, though). Service was good & quick, with a variety of servers bringing us our dishes. We started with sharing a sake flight (3 very different sakes for $22), and later ordered another glass of sake to share. For our food we had the seaweed salad, Bo Gyoza (long pan-fried dumplings), grilled Mackerel fish, a side of rice, and the "Tampopo" Omu-Rice dish. Everything was cooked perfectly & absolutely delicious! The Omu-Rice dish was quite unique, with small pieces pork & veggies atop a bed of rice that's been seasoned with ketchup, and on top of it all is a perfect fluffy Japanese egg omelet - so freakin' yummy! The food comes out in whatever order it's ready, as is typical at a Japanese restaurant, so if you want something first, be sure to let your server know. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the ingredients & preparation, which was a plus. They don't take reservations, so depending on when you arrive there might be a wait (I think they used to take reservations but their website currently says they do not). Can't wait to come back and try more!

Event one was Clinton Street area so all the stuff there gets a bit crowded. Next event was right by the stadium and it was a Timbers night - F that! And the Saturday before mom's day. I stumbled on Yataimura Maru doing some google hunting. I was amazed I had not heard of it. We got in shortly before 5pm and it did get much busier but we continued to get such great service! When we arrived, it was just before happy hour was concluding and she let us know so we could order off that menu before it finished. My friend opted to order some happy hour gyoza and a small curry so she could try it. We then ordered off the regular menu. I personally tried one of her veggie gyoza {which was delicious and VERY crispy} and ordered sushi. I ordered salmon nigiri, hoso-maki hamachi, the tempura shrimp roll {shrimp tempura, avocado, cucumber, sesame seeds & unagi sauce} and the Frenchy roll {spicy tuna, krab salad, & avocado, topped salmon, spicy mayo, house made unagi sauce & fried onion}. It was all amazing! Sadly, their sodas do not come with refills but that was our only negative. The décor is fantastic and you feel like you are in a far fancier restaurant. I also love that even when the restaurant was fairly full I did not feel like I was dining with the others in the restaurant. I wandered into the restroom and found that they have Japanese toilets. They also have a seat by the sink if you need that.

Fresh, clean flavors and very satisfying for a simple roll. Smoked Salmon (5/5) Good, thick pieces with nice smoky flavor. Fresh and well prepared. Overall, the food was consistent and high quality across everything we ordered. Service (4/5): Good overall, though it felt like there was only one hostess working during the rush hour. Because of that, things moved a bit slower than expected, but the staff was still polite and helpful. Ambiance (3/5): There are tables in the main dining area, bar seating, and more tables in the back. It works well for groups and families, but I would recommend making a reservation during busy hours. Parking is the biggest challenge. It is very tight and limited, especially when the restaurant is busy, which adds some stress before you even walk in. Great food and worth the visit, just plan ahead for parking and wait time.

For food, they don't have much in the way of specialty fish options, and the rolls seem pretty boring & simple/downright unappetizing. Hot food options are pretty basic & limited too. - Poki Roll: ahi & albacore on top were pretty good but the roll was a bit soggy from too much sauce and it left a slightly unpleasant aftertaste like when peanuts are too old and the oil gets rancid. - Tuna crispy rice: very meh fried rice patties were way too thick like pancakes and not much flavor - Tempura Udon: by far the lamest tempura I've ever had, so floppy and thin/nonexistent soggy coating. Plus veggie selection was lame. No good stuff like squash/sweet potatoes or yams but for reason regular potatoes?? Cut extremely thick but boiled before so still soggy. Soup was fine tho. - Tako nigiri: from pics it seems they always seem to include octopus in their sashimi combos so we were wondering if it was a house specialty they cured fresh daily or something but no it was just regular boiled octopus. - Karage: good, the best thing we ordered. Nice breading tho the sauce was like a bbq soy which was ok but I prefer a creamier mayo sauce. Service was lame too. After sitting we weren't visited for drinks/apps at all but after 20 min once we'd marked all our menu selections they came to grab the sheet and just get everything at once. Also they have those handheld thingies so you have to pay and sign while he's standing there holding it which always annoys me. So yeah I don't get it, to me seems like a place that got famous a while ago when there was less sushi competition around and have just been riding those coattails since.
