Easily my top 5 favorite bbq spots of all time! Only problem is it's located in New Jersey! Need to have one in NYC! Staff were super attentive and quick on service! All the banchan were top noch! Best marinated galbi I've ever had!!!

THIS PLACE IS FIREEEEE!!!!! I will genuinely go back tn if someone could go with me. The meat was quality, the banchan was fresh, the service fast. The ambiance Clean casual and busy!

We liked this combo, too.

We came to this location to celebrate a birthday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is nice[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], the service is great, and the food was delicious! My personal favorites are the cheesy corn, the rice cakes, prime rib, and fried rice. We will be back for more!

Came here late at night craving gopchang and didn't want to go into the city, so this Fort Lee location was a convenient choice. We ordered the beef intestine combo with large intestine, small intestine, tripe, and rice cakes. The assortment was generous and easily enough for two people. The intestines were properly cleaned and grilled, with no off smells, and the tripe had a nice chew. Rice cakes were a good addition and grilled well. We also ordered the seafood pancake, which was surprisingly good--crispy on the outside and soft inside, not overly greasy. Overall, portions are large and satisfying, especially if you're specifically craving Korean-style beef intestines late at night. Prices are on the higher side, but that's expected for this type of restaurant. Solid option in Fort Lee.

This is truly a hidden gem. My experience with Korean BBQ started in Koreatown in midtown manhattan. For the past decade it's been a similar experience wherever I go UNTIL my visit to Obaltan. This was different in 2 aspects; 1) they offered shellfish, and 2) the cooking surface was a deep pan instead of the raised dome grill which I was used to. In fact at the end of the meal, they made a fried rice with the seasoned pan that was delicious! However, ALL of the food was delicious, and the service was friendly & attentive even though we were close to closing time. This is a MUST if you're in the area!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]](Plus on the weekends it seems that they do karaoke upstairs!)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Def a place better for a group of 6, esp if you want to try live clam grills. The portion is just quite large. Overall very good besides a group of 4 we each had to eat 5 clams Spicy Stir Fried Pork & Vegetables - good but didn't know there's a lot of rice cake in the dish as well should have be indicated. Spicy Bai-Top Whelk With Vegetables & Chewy Noodles - it's a cold dish, very spicy good flavor. Make sure you sign up waitlist beforehand as the store is small.

Good spot for Kbbq in the Fort Lee area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not busy on a Saturday night, July 4th weekend, fresh ingredients, good service, (Owen is the bestest! - great attitude, attentive).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had the prime beef and seafood special. Definitely more than enough food for 3 people.

This is a kbbq restaurant that's extremely seafood oriented as well! We didn't wait too long for our reservation, which was during busy hour (7:00pm on a Saturday). We ordered the clam combo, which came with the seafood Casino on the side. Also, we got an army stew and corn cheese, both of which were very good compliments to the main course. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a good spot for couples, but it also is accommodating to larger parties as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We did a hike and were able to properly refuel after. Definitely recommend and I can't wait to try the meat combo next time.

Came here with some friends on a Thursday night and got a table for six no problem. It's my first time having seafood barbecue, and I am hooked the clams with butter garlic are super clean and delicious, everything was so good! The veggies are delicious too. I mean, focus was hanging out with friends but i definitely wanna go again to write a more detailed review

I had this place book marked and came after pickleball. Sadly I'm disappointed. Everything here is so sweet and I'm not sure why. My japchae was overly sweet the salad was super sweet and the bulgolgi soup was sweet. I think the only dish that was decent was the seafood soup and the kimchi fried rice. Service was mid. Water wasn't refilled and we had to ask for rice for our tofu soup.

You have to come here if you love seafood!! I loved the clams on the grill it was so different and fun!! They also have a solid beef and pork KBBQ menu selection as well and all of the delish sides. The service is amazing and they do such a great job here def check them out!!

Cuisine: 7 Service: 7 Decor: 7 Value: 6 Overall: 7 I'm craving some of these grilled clams right now. I know most people don't think of Korean food when it comes to seafood. However, this late night restaurant specializing in grilled seafood was the perfect place for me after a concert at Metlife Stadium a few weeks ago. The package we got had three tasty scallops with cheese for the grill and a delicious egg soufflé. It also came with three banchan, which is pretty minimal. However, the worst for me was the shrimps and mussels, which I really don't want. All I need are those juicy and briny clams to be satisfied. This is not a place I would come often, but a place I will come back to whenever I'm in the mood.

The brisket lunch special was only $16, was super juicy, cooked perfect! The chicken leg lunch special was only $14, was also great, the skin was crisp and meat just fell off the bones. Fries were very lightly coated and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. We also got a half pound order of pulled pork, very juicy and delicious, plus they serve the meals with 6 different kinds of sauces. Now... the various pickles! They all seemed homemade. Pink onions, cucumber pickles, peppers, and achyote (?), very crispy and refreshing to balance out the meats. Coleslaw was also very delicious. The cornbread. Very rustic. Initially I thought it was a bit dry but by second bite, you begin to appreciate the coarse cornmeal, the crunch, the balance of moisture and the crumble. I saved one to bring home so I can cut it and pan roast it in butter tomorrow morning. I have a feeling I will crave this cornbread in the coming weeks. The lunch also comes with a kielbasa, snappy skin, juicy and delicious. Such an unexpected find, glad we stopped in today. Very friendly service, they explained our questions well. Great ambiance and fast attentive service. We will definitely be back to try more items.

There as one older waitresses in particular, whose name I did not catch, but she was exceptional in her service -- to not just our section, but to everyone. She seemed to understand well how to cater to the restaurant patrons, taking into consideration that we were grieving a loss of a family member/friend. The food was excellent. The "banchan" side dishes were fresh and savory with continuous refills. They provided us with appetizer of the two types of "jeon"s - when was seafood and one was kimchi. I ordered the super sized "galbi tang" (갈비탕 - Short Rib Soup). I say "super sized" as it's quite larger in quantity than any I have ever had in any restaurant! . They had already pre-sorted the meat from the bones which usually are included in this particular dish. The amount of meat was incredibly abundant and absolutely savory and soft to chew. The meal was so big that I packed most of it to go and it sealed up almost to the top of a quart container! Other guests tried the "oohguhgi galbi tang" (Short Rib Cabbage Soup - 우거지 갈비탕) and "bibimbap" (Mixed Rice with root vegetables - 비빔밥) which looked delicious and ample in quantity as well. The restaurant is located off-shot from Lemoine Avenue In Fort Lee (soon after you cross Main Street) and turn into their driveway right before Charim Restaurant/Paris Baguette Cafe. Parking is plenty for free and the entrance has stairs and ramps for wheelchair/walkers. The bathroom is to your left as soon as you enter the restaurant. The ambiance is elegant and clean. Service is prompt and courteous (with exception to one younger waitress who was a bit curt and ignore requests but the older waitress I mentioned prior really saved the day! ). The managers were professional and helpful in directing the guests to the right places. Overall experience in food and service was 4.8/5.0. Q Grill was recently named top 10 KBBQ spots in NJ/NY. Will definitely visit and enjoy their other menu selections!

You get a lot of food and the food is delicious and the meat is high quality. The service is always fantastic. We had a big party and were seated right away on a weekend. But if you want to gauge price a little, we went with 4 adults, 3 kids and ordered japchae (glass noodles), kimchi pajeon (pancake), 2 bottles of soju, drinks, a meat set that came with soup, 2 types of pork and 2 types of beef and it came out to about $350, tip included. Ooooh, it's been awhile since my last review…read more After 4 years, I still love Wooga but those "$$$$" on the their Yelp page keeps me from eating here more often. This time around, it's a stronger 5 out of 5 because of our waiter was amazing. Ugh, I can't remember his name. He was on top of everything and making sure our food was grilled in a timely manner. He was quick to follow up with orders/requests that didn't come through when the kitchen didn't bring them out. Usually my gripe or disclaimer I give to people is that Wooga is great at everything except wrapping up things on the end. In the past, whenever I went, it would take forever (!!!!!) to get our check and pay. It was so frustrating but this time around, it was a bit faster. It's a win-win situation because we get to pay and leave and the restaurant has another table for customers. Though on the pricier side, Wooga does check off all the boxes of: -amazing meat quality -amazing & attentive service -they don't skimp on banchans (side dishes that I heard other restaurants are starting to limit) -several meat combo options -best Korean steamed egg in the North Jersey area We tried the thinly sliced oxtails, which were really good but pretty pricey for $38cash/$39.90card for 11oz of it. There are some things that are inconvenient (long waits, very small parking lot) but it's easy to overlook them once you have a meal at Wooga. Things to know before you go: -Their menu is updated on their website if you want to check that out before you go. -The earlier you go, the better your chance of being seated quickly. Weekends are definitely a longer wait, so plan ahead. -Their parking lot is small so it fills up super quickly, so you'll have to park across the street and play Frogger (maybe you might be too young to know this reference?) to cross the 4 lanes of Palisade Ave. -When you arrive, make sure to check in with the host/hostess so that you could get a pager to know when your table is ready. Your turn can come pretty fast sometimes depending on the timing.

Their menu has a variety of different options and our favorites that we tried tonight was the LA galbi , beef brisket, & finger galbi (boneless galbi). I also liked the banchan & salad sides to pair w/ the meats. What wasn't so good was the service. When we arrived to the restaurant and got a table, we were only one of two tables & waited 10 min before we got ahold of someone to order. After ordering, it was pretty difficult to get one of the staff to put in another order of meats, replenish sauces, and some of our food didn't come. For example, we ordered fried calamari & we ended up asking about the status of the fried calamari 4 times lol... eventually came at the END of our meal & mind you, we had ordered another round of meats already & those had came within minutes + the calamari came AFTER we were done grilling everything. Not to mention, for 3 pieces of calamari haha. The service was iffy because we were waving for a staff member to order and just got ignored, luckily we were in no rush to be anywhere. ALSO, if you are planning to bring children, note that no matter how old or how young your kids are, they will be subject to be charged the same $ as an adult. $40/pp for dinner. We had 5 people total, 4 adults 1 child & total was $213 after tax, before tip. So with all this being said in my review, if you're looking for solid AYCE KBBQ, look no further BUT be aware that the service is not the best. AND, they offer sushi here which may seem tempting but I do not recommend. Not very good and looked like supermarket sushi. Just come for bbq meats. Parking: they have a parking lot in the back!

We ordered the lamb skewers, pig skin, and stir-fried squid -- all of which were delicious. The lamb skewers were tender and had a great crisp to them, and the stir-fried squid was hands-down my favorite dish of the night. The batter was so light yet crispy. I also really enjoyed the cucumber scallion salad served as a side -- super refreshing and pair well with the meat. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean, and welcoming. The owner is friendly, and the overall vibe is very relaxed. They also serve beer and soju, which is a nice touch. The only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review is the seasoning on the skewers -- I felt it could have used a bit more flavor.
