Ok, as my daughter's car had smoke bellowing out of her engine and fluid pouring onto the pavement, I frantically Yelped a local mechanic. Yes, they were open Saturday. Weis gave me detailed instructions on the drop off for the tow truck that night. Fast forward to the next morning, I called and he had diagnosed the problem and upon my approval, ordered the part. These guys run a fair and honest business. That's really really hard to find in their business. I've turned a wrench as a hobby on cars for 30 years. I can spot the bad guys a mile away. All you have to do is sit there for 10-15 minutes and listen to conversations with other people. I went here for a smog cert so I waited about 20 minutes and listened. My Toyota Highlander needed timing belt and rear breaks replaced. I've been looking for a good affordable mechanic in the area when my friend referred me to OC Auto Care who spoke very highly of Waise. I already got 2 estimates from other places and one of my requirements were to use Toyota parts. Before I brought my car into the shop, Waise gave me a great estimate using Toyota parts and explained what is expected when I brought my car in. I left my car with Waise overnight. He called me to inform me that my front break pads were pretty run down too and wanted to see if I wanted him to replace them. I gave him my blessing and when I went to pick up my car, I was ready to pay and leave. But he went over the statement one by one and showed me all the parts he replaced. He compared it to a new part so I can see the difference. I wasn't expecting him to be so thorough! When I told my friend about my experience at OC Auto Care, she told me that her Lexus needs new break pads and rotors. Waise gave several estimates giving my friend options. He gave her one estimate using Lexus break pads and rotors, second estimate not using Lexus parts, and third estimate for break pads and resurfacing rotors without having to replace them. Since my friend's car is fairly new, resurfacing rotors can save her a lot of money. He then offered to take a look at the rotors to make sure that would work. Talk about customer service! OC Auto Care has one of the best customer services I know! I am very happy with my car's performance and Waise made it very easy to get my car serviced. read more

I take my E46 BMW M3 to Waise for all service issues. He is a straight shooter who has been able to diagnose the problems quickly and accurately every time. Most recently, I had a severe issue with the VANOS unit on the car that I initially had checked out by a BMW specialist across the street from my office. I was told that there was an issue with the entire system, and that it would cost $3,000 for parts and labor. I took the car to Waise who quickly figured out there was an issue with the $3 connector for the VANOS unit. Not only did he refuse any payment despite my insistence, but he had had the car washed for me as well. I never thought it would be possible to find a mechanic with this type of talent and character. All I can say is that I don't think I'll ever want to take my car anywhere else. My job is close by to OC Auto Repair, and when I came into work panicking because of a flashing check engine light and the whole car shaking, my boss told me about these guys and I immediately went over to drop it off. I left it there to be looked over, and within an hour I got a call from Wyatt who told me immediately what was wrong with it and had also diagnosed some other issues I had been neglecting to deal with because the dealership had said it was FAR beyond my price range.
