I found this place via yelp when my truck started to make a very loud & strange noise coming from the engine. I went in & Waice was super friendly in helping me out with this issue. Long story short a bolt had come free & had started to bounce around inside my engine. He was able to immediately help me & offered me a ride back to work while he worked on my car. Based on the service & price I would defiantly go back. Since then any time I have had an issue or need an oil change I have taken it back to OC Auto Care & still experience that same level of service that I first encountered many months ago. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone who is unhappy with their last mechanic or new to the area and need a new mechanic. I was in need of an oil change and found this shop on Yelp. It had nice reviews and when I spoke to the people at the shop on the phone, they were very friendly and fit me in. Upon picking up my car after the service, I noticed that the tint on my front windshield was peeled back. When I asked a technician about it he just shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't know. I didn't do anything." Shortly thereafter a young man came out to talk to me about the damage. Instead of apologizing and owning the mistake (people make mistakes! It's ok! We're human and sometimes we mess up) he began to forcefully insist that my tint was illegal and that if I were to get into an accident, I would be in big trouble. I informed the man, Weiss, that I bought the car from the dealership that way and despite the fact that it may be illegal, it was damaged by their technician and needed to be fixed. After he went on a few more minutes about how illegal my tint was, I was finally able to get him to take me over to a tint shop across the street to get it fixed. The whole experience was really upsetting. I gave 2 stars because the service on the car was fine and he did eventually pay for the damage to be fixed. But overall, I'm more upset that if I hadn't noticed that the tint was damaged, they would have let me leave without telling me they damaged the car. In the future I hope that you own your mistakes and act sincerely and honestly with your clients. Trying to tell your client that something is their fault when it's clearly yours is horrible business. I can't figure out how you could have regular customers with this kind of mentality. I will never bring my car back to this shop and I will never refer anyone here. I feel the people that dealt with me are dishonest. Shame on you for treating people this way. read more

My previous mechanic/shop that I have been going to for 4+ years recently replaced my rear brake pads but after about 7 months, they started to make a bad grinding noise. I took the car back in to the shop and they said the brake piston on my Lexus GS430 got stuck, ruined my pads, and the pads, rotors and piston needed to be replaced. The good news is they were going to replace the pads under warranty. The bad news is, their quote was still MUCH higher than OC Auto Care to replace the pads, rotors and piston. Mind you, the other shop was including "free" rear pads under warranty but they were still much higher in price -- that's what I call BS. Luckily I called around and found this hidden gem. It's not the cleanest place and a bit hard to find but they do great work at a great price and service. Waise is really awesome and helpful. Not only was his price much more reasonable but he thoroughly explained what was wrong with my car, what the new parts (make/model/warranty) was, and after the service he showed me the old parts off of my car as proof it was defective. For a busy auto shop, this is going above and beyond in my opinion. They also gave me a free loaner vehicle for a few hours while my car was being worked on. Really, I could not have asked for anything better. OC Auto Care is my new go to shop. Thanks Waise and crew! read more

Went for an oil change a few months and determined that this place will be my go-to =) ... as a woman, I tend to feel like auto places try to pull one over me because I don't know about cars. Maybe it's just me, I don't know! lol. HOWEVER, this place does not make me feel that way at all! When I went for an oil change, they told me my brakes needed changing. The gentleman walked me to my car and showed me exactly what brakes that are going bad look like by taking off the tire and showing me and explaining to me how it works. I also told them I wanted a new air filter because I wasn't sure when it had been changed. Instead of making an easy extra buck, they checked my air filter and told me mine was still clean =) ... later that night I found paperwork with my car's most recent work, and it had gotten an air filter not long ago. I appreciate their honesty! I'll be going back to get my brakes done soon ... Very trustworthy and patient men here that know what they're doing and deserve all the stars and positive ratings they receive! Look no further! read more

I have been to this garage twice, once for an air conditioning recharge and just last week for brake check. I had been quoted $139 to recharge my A/C but OC Auto did it for about $85. Could have been cheaper than that, I forget. Then I brought my car in for brakes last week, (my car computer kept telling me I needed brakes) brought the car in to Waise, the owner, who reported that I was a little low on brake fluid, added fluid to the brakes (which fixed the whole brake problem) and did a fluid check all over the car, then charged me NOTHING! This is my garage now. Especially appreciated since I'm a retiree. You may have to call for an appointment, but the service is worth the wait. Five stars. read more

Came here with hubby to get the smog check done for my mom's car. It took us some time to find the shop cuz it's a little hidden behind Midas. When we got there the parking lot was packed with cars, and we were greeted immediately and were told the wait time is about 45 minutes, and that it would be $38 ($10 off discount if you mention Yelp. yay! ) Since we had time to kill, we walked to a nearby auto detailing shop to get some supplies. I kinda wished the wait time was a little longer cuz there are a lot of great little restaurants within walking distance. We went back after 30 minutes or so, and our car was already done. Paid, signed, and drove away in like 5 minutes. (And they happily accept credit cards! It's such a plus cuz I've been to places where they give you a shtty look if you say you got no cash or check..)
