My car has some problems. I contacted Weise of this repair shop to make sure the diagnosis is free then I drove my car to their shop for the initial consultation. When you see the ad. saying "diagnosis is free when we repair" ,it is very different from the real diagnosis is free. In some repair shops if they must repair your car after they diagnosis something wrong of your car, the repair cost may be very high, and you do not have the chances to compare with other repair shops. Then you must let them fix your car or you pay the diagnosis fee.. Only the diagnosis is free without any other term is really free. After the diagnosis, the owner Willie gave me very good advice and promised me if my coolant is dried a little bit I can come to them for a coolant fill for free. What a so good service!! And the diagnosis is totally free. It is very rare now some people do the business not for the money as their main goal especially in the auto repair field.... I believe that so many people have the bad experiences with quite a few mechanics. And this repair shop still maintains good integrity. That's why I said it is very rare. This repair shop deserves my 5 star rating. read more

Extremely positive experience! Just started a new job that's six days a week and brakes started grinding in the front. Got off early today and asked Suri on my phone for the best auto repair shop in Rancho Santa Margarita and OC Auto Care came up(Even though it's in Lake Forest) first with 5 stars and 283 reviews, so I drove straight there. I arrived at 2pm they closed at 3. I was just trying to arrange a night drop for the upcoming week. They went above and beyond to get me taken care of and back on the road. The owner even ran out personally to get all the parts needed for my repair. They replaced my front brake pads and rotors, rear brake pads, air and cabin filters, battery terminal, oil change, smog, and checked all my fluids and even stayed open until 4pm to take care of my car. The cost was beyond reasonable!!!!! About 1/2 what I expected it to be, with top of the line parts. I will definitely be returning for my auto care needs and referring friends and family. I've brought both my girlfriend's car here and my Scion XB for several different maintenance items as well as semi-major repairs. Willie and his son are both incredibly friendly and honest guys. They tell you EXACTLY what needs to be done, how much it will cost, and what your options are. I've had oil changes, smog checks, bearings on my wheel replaced, and break jobs done here. Excellent quality and service every time. Last time I had work done, I was leaving for the day at 5 and asked if they could have it done before then. Waise is a great and honest guy. I ran a high-end European performance shop and we took all our cars over to Waise for smog. I suspect the few negative comments are just really difficult repair situations that invariably you run into as a mechanic or just crazy people that are pissed that their car broke and have unrealistic expectations. We talked a lot and I really enjoyed it. Its all about customer relations and Wice exemplified this.
