I brought my car in and, after a couple of days, was informed that no error codes were found. I was then advised to proceed with a repair costing several hundred dollars, although I was told it was unclear whether that repair would address the underlying issue. I sought a second opinion. The other shop was able to read the error code immediately and resolve the problem directly. The air conditioning conked out on our 2019 Cayenne. In August (go figure). Our Cayenne is our daily ride including hauling around our grandkids so being without it for a few days is quite inconvenient. I called our local dealer who has done all of our service to date. Mechanic left my oil drain bolt loose on my 997 I noticed a oil leak on my garage floor and was planning on bring it back here to see if there was something they didn't do. Laid down under the car and found it was coming from the drain bolt, I turned it about three full turns till it was snug. Went to the autozone and bought some hex wrenches and tightened up myself It was about to fall out, if I didn't catch it it might have cost me a replacement engine I wouldn't trust this shop again with my car. read more

I feel bad that I didn't write a review when I had my service done. OC Factory came highly recommended by the local Porsche club. Owen installed a custom exhaust on my 981 Spyder. I was able to ship directly to him and he accommodated holding my old exhaust until I was able to pick it up with another car. His install was quick and the pricing was fair. I would mention that I did my oil changes with him prior to the exhaust install and as I mentioned fair pricing above, his pricing didn't gouge your wallet (like dealerships do). To boot, he was excited to allow me to rev my engine in the parking lot (to the chagrin of the business neighbors, I'm sure). If I still lived in OC, he would continue to be my "go-to". read more

Excellent Porsche Mechanic. I took mine here and am happy with the work and service! Owen is very knowledgeable with Porsches (and owns his own), charges fair prices, and does quality work. Work was done on-time as promised, for the price as quoted. The shop can be a little hard to find -- it's a little ways into the parking lot behind the detailing shop next door. Was recommended here by a friend. Came in for a weak battery and a million codes in the computer. Owen swapped the battery and went through all the codes and we whittled it down to a reasonable set and sanity checked they were real and the explanations were plausible to me, an automotive enthusiast but not a mechanic. Contrast this with the dealer who told me I needed $10k of service without considering the car was running pretty well. Also I like being able to talk to the actual mechanic rather than a service adviser. Will be getting remaining issues sorted here. read more

Owen is a very patient and reliable technician. I found him in the PANDO magazine, OC zone 8 Porsche magazine. He is factory trained Porsche, all models. I have tried five (5) other places and they did poor to OK, but always a issue or suddenly the parts are 2 or 3x's any retail price or recommend unnecessary repairs. I had Owen review my 1977 911s Targa...he did an 1.5 hr review and gave me a 12 point list of items that needed replaced or repaired. His estimate was very reasonable and I will start this in 3 stages....first a leaking gas tank that 3 others did not see, even 2 weeks ago when I took it by my last Technician, he said it was the gas cap...This week he took my 2006 VW Convertible, did some diagnostic test and replaced the crank vent valve. I was told by another place it was the Throttle Body....a $41.00 part compared to $750.00..Owen knows his stuff and very honest and accurate in his repairs. read more
