Ordered cheesesteaks/fries/sodas and owner delivered. I didn't realize the sodas were missing until he was already gone. Called back to let them know and he came back with sodas plus extra soda and tried to give me money back. It wasn't a big deal about the sodas at all, things happen, but you can tell the integrity of the business based on the outstanding customer experience I had. Crab cakes were delicious. Definitely no filler - a real MD crab cake. Mostly set up for carryout but there are a few covered picnic tables out front, which is where we ate. Staff was very pleasant and attentive. Really appreciated the note on the door, which I confirmed with the owner. They clean the grill after every order they make. So, no need to worry about burger grease in your crab cake, which I really appreciate. read more

My sister and I came to OC last weekend for a little getaway and stumbled upon this place. AMAZING FOOD!!! And the staff is so friendly. They even came out to give my dog fresh water after the beach. Tiny storefront that shares a parking lot with a gas station. I would have never noticed it if it wasn't for stumbling across the stellar Yelp ratings. Philly cheesesteaks were fabulous! We had reviewed the menu online beforehand so went in knowing what we wanted. We ordered inside and waited for our food to be ready (about 15-20 minutes) at a picnic table outside. Needed a break from seafood so walked to this place for lunch. We got the fried oysters, a blt wrap and a ribeye cheesesteak. Everything was good! Especially the cheesesteak! The bread was perfect and it wasn't soggy! Service was great too. A bit of a wait due to the lunch crowd but they kept you up to date and you can hear the kitchen staff sing while you wait! The place is small so there are three tables outside of you want to eat there. It's next to the gas station so it's not the greatest view but you can walk across the street to the beach and have lunch there! Stopped here for a good dinner after a long day on the boardwalk. AMAZING food!! I personally don't like crab cakes, but the crab cake sandwich here is off the charts. My boyfriend got the cheesesteak and it's definitely one of the best! The owner, Eric, is very humorous and has excellent customer service. You can tell he really cares about his business and most important the CUSTOMERS that come in! He took his time with us never being there before, recommended some good selections, then kept checking on us after we were served our food. This place is great!! My family has gone several times with great cheesesteaks each visit. The eggplant parm sandwhich is also delicious! They have crabs- served cold- which were sweet and well seasoned. Their ice cream is also delicious and definitely high quality. The chocolate is exceptional but other standouts were vanilla, banana, and mango sorbet. Everything is so reasonably priced, especially for the beach. We ordered a simple pizza, fries, onion rings and salad over the phone in October. They said 40 minutes which we followed. My wife went to pick up and waited and waited and waited. Dopey owner comes out and says he doesn't know what to say but he burnt our pizza three separate times. Then he says "but you're welcome to pay for your cold french fries and onion rings." After moving down here in the summer, we have tried a few other eateries to find our favorite. I finally gave this place a try and omg it was worth it! My husband and I split their large (and it'sA PROPER large) ribeye cheese steak. It was the best! The bread was perfect, the toppings delicious and the meat was indescribably good. Even the fries were good! Such a deal for under $17!! I can't wait to try out the pizza, sandwiches and other offerings. My husband picked the sibs up to bring home and said the location is very cool- charming with a beachy vibe. Thanks for the new favorite local place! I have lived in Ocean City for over 20 years now and for the first glorious time, I found a place to get some incredible food that does not taste just like the food of every other restaurant in town. Everything from the ribeye cheese steak sandwich down to the French (?) Fry, is nothing short from phenomenal. They always say the hole-in-the-wall places are the best place to get something to eat. This place is the definition of hole in the wall. My entire family is from Philly and I grew up on Philly cheesesteaks. This place is in my list of the top 5 best cheesesteaks I've had outside of Philly. Eric the owner is half the reason to go. The entertainment he provides while taking orders is insane. If they aren't answering the phone it's because they are slammed. Just show up. It's worth the wait. Btw they use sirloin, thinly sliced, then chopped as cooked, with cheese melted and mixed in. The roll is the correct in style too. Wish I hadn't found it on my last day here.
