Went here for my birthday dinner a few weeks ago. It was a rough start to the dinner but we left as satisfied customers. First you have to choose either seafood boil OR ayce kbbq not both which was a bummer because I went in with the mindset of getting both. But we decided on kbbq since that's new. Then they got our table all set but couldn't get the grill to turn on so we had to move everything to a different table. Fortunately all the staff were super nice and helped us move everything over. Our waitress explained that sides are very limited since it was new. They provided kimchi, garlic, and sauce (maybe a couple more things but can't remember). Kimchi wasn't as bright and flavorful as I'd like, but the sauce they provided was delicious. As for the meat, quality was amazing! It actually took us by surprise! The boneless short rib (I think that's what it was) was so tender. The only meat that was a little disappointing was the pork belly. I think if they served it as one piece rather than pre-sliced then it wouldn't have dried out so quickly when grilling. Food: 3/5 I ordered a shrimp po boy and Cajun fries $16 and a side of clam chowder (small cup) $8. For a $26 lunch I was expecting something great and was disappointed. The shrimp po boy was just deep fried smaller greasy shrimp like they sat in the grease for a while. There were only 5-6 shrimp on a what looks like a toasted Costco hogie bun. Big slices of red onion. The fries tasted like paprika spilled on it with no other seasoning. Was bitter. Overall it was mediocre. No seasoning on the po boy and no seasoning in the coleslaw or soup. Very bland. Not much lettuce at all. If you're looking for an authentic NOLA Cajun or Creole spot, it's not. Service: 4/5 I got it to go. The a guy at the register was nice. First time at this place. The restaurant is very spacious and clean. We went on a Friday midday and surprised to see there weren't many customers. We were seated quickly and we can choose where we want to be seated. I love booth seating so it's where we sat. Service and servers were very quick and attentive. As for food, for me it was okay. Shrimps and the Dungeness crab were cooked well. I always choose garlic butter as my sauce and this one I didn't really enjoy. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't try it again. I still prefer my favorite cajun/creole establishment. As for price, like everything else nowadays everything has gone up so this isn't any different but the good thing is they have happy hour so I highly recommend taking advantage of that to save a few extra bucks. read more

I honestly don't know it took me this long to try this location out. I honestly enjoyed it A LOT. All thanks to a pregnant lady who was craving shrimp and rice LOL this was her choice and happy that it was. I had one pound each for shrimp and crab legs and I KILLED it all. Of course prego's didn't finish her combo but she had it the next day and said it was still as good as the day we got it. I see a lot of to-go orders cause the traffic coming in was all for to-go's so it makes sense why there wasn't much people there, but I enjoyed the set up of the restaurant. This is the second time we have ordered from here and both times we ordered Combo Bucket #2. Came with 3 different types of seafood (mussels, shrimp, and crabs), also came with sausage, potatoes, and corn. This is one of the best seafood boil I've tasted. I used to drive to San Jose to get sea food boil now we have one in the area, I'm so glad they opened here. I totally recommend this place. There is an option to dine in or dine out (outside dinning available). Looks like a fun place to celebrate birthdays. The price is not bad at all for the amount of food you get. Their regular french fries are great too--thick & crispy. Lobster rolls are filled with Maine style meat (cold with mayo & celery.) Very delicious and so satisfying! Texas buttered toast is very large compared to the (just right) amount of lobster filling, in case people are complaining about the ratios. My mom is really picky about her clam chowder. She really loved Ocean 9's clam chowder, almost as much as her Seattle favorite. I also got the crab salad but only tasted a bite because my main entree was so huge. My husband and I went there for dinner. Our bill for 2 non alcoholic drinks, an appetizer and the $79 bucket was $131. That's fine but for $131 dollars you don't get a refill on lemonade or sweet tea? The seats are weird because the tables double as hot pot cooking stations. So you can't relax and eat you have to lean up to be able to reach the table. The server's never checked on us to the point I had to go to the front register to ask for our check. Lastly and most importantly the food was "Okay" it was a decent amount of food but the seasoning was just okay. We stopped by here for lunch as i was craving a seafood boil and new to the area! Found this spot on Yelp and I am so pleased. We came shortly after they opened so it wasn't really busy. Place was huge! Our server Michael was very friendly and I seriously loved his personality from the get... made us laugh and made the experience impressionable from the start. Now... the food. BOMB. Their seafood boil is flavored very well and the seasonings did not seem 'watered' down. I got a pound of shrimp head on Cajun garlic, Mild. I'll probably get medium next time. My GF got head off and I was a little put off by how much tinier her shrimp was. We also ordered garlic noodz... so yummy! Fries were ok. Garlic bread was ok. Was looking for a place to eat while visiting my parents in Antioch and found this restaurant. I was kind of skeptic at first because it had good reviews but not that many. I found out it was because it is new. It is housed where the old Antioch Buffet used to be. Personally, I think the place is way to big for the restaurant but maybe they have a plan. Any ways, it is basically a Cajun Seafood place where they serve everything in bags, cups, and small containers. They have trays (like nacho containers) you can use if you prefer it. They also provide bibs and gloves. So they had a special where you get 10% off if you order any meal will snow crab legs. I think for the price and quality...it was really good. I mean the size of the shrimp and mussels alone were better than other places I have been. I wasn't very impressed with the crawdads, but those are hard to get the flavor into them unless you soak for a long time. All in all, I gave it a 4 because the restaurant itself needs work on deco. But, don't judge a book by its cover. The food is awesome. I will definitely be going back and I suggest you try it out. read more

Get your seafood and Cajun fix here. This place is still brand new so everything is wonderful. Please stay that way. Server didn't know what kind of oysters so I didn't order. I need to know where they came from. They offer crab, lobster, shrimp, crawdads, mussels and clams with (3) kinds of sauce: garlic butter, Cajun garlic, and lemon pepper. All were very salty but tasty. Add ons are: sausage, corn, rice, potatoes into the sauces. We ordered 1 pound of shrimp in Cajun. They give you the choice of head on or head off shrimp for $1 more. We also ordered 1 pound of snow crab legs which were 3 clusters in the garlic butter. Side of fries and garlic noodles, this was super filling for both of us. They also offer plastic gloves and a bib but after you're done eating, you feel like you need a shower afterwards. Absolutely give this place a try! My husband and I picked up a phone order. When I called to place my order the gentleman was super friendly and even made some suggestions. He wasn't trying to get me to spend more. When we got there I was a little confused as we could see a DDR game through the doors and then a few claw games. Mother's Day review. Place was perfect for Mother's Day! The staff and owner were very nice and food was pretty good. First time eating at the restaurant but have only ordered to-go previously. Ordered shrimp, calamari, basket combo, spaghetti, garlic noodles, and a fish basket. Spaghetti: kids said it was a little too spicy for them, they ended up not eating it. I didn't try it. Garlic noodles they were too salty for us. None of my family ate their portion which is a bummer. Seafood boil sauce was good but our shrimp was overcooked :( the skin was stuck to the shrimp so it made it hard to peel. My son wanted shrimp and crab for his birthday and it was great that we found a place closer to home. The food tasted great and the portions are big so there are a lot of options to share. Almost everything that you are given to eat or drink with is disposable which makes sense for this type of establishment. I have only ordered over the phone so my review is not the service inside. I have ordered at least a handful of times and I am completely satisfied each time. I usually order the combo bucket #2 and add other items on. There is a good amount of food they give you and it is so delicious. The garlic noodles are good too! Whoever answers the phone is always so nice, they read back your order and make sure it's correct. Something I noticed was the last time I picked up my order is that the receipt shows how many times you have ordered food there. The guy mentioned how many times I've ordered and thanked me for coming back. I thought that was very sweet. My only complaint is, is that either the number on Google or Yelp doesn't work, I can't remember. Depending on the day, it can take them a while to answer. I think there is only 1 phone so the calls don't roll over to another line. Side note: I have walked into the restaurant to pick up my food.
