Went here while I was on vacation for an Acrylic set hoping to receive colored acrylic powder instead of gel nail polish. Even though I told her that she ended up doing gel I'm not a fan of gel because it doesn't last as long as colored acrylic powder. Anyways it was too late for me to say any thing so I just went with it. I then asked her if I could do short coffin nails.. which they did not turn out looking like coffin nails I have gotten this done before and I guess just not everyone can do short cofffin nails. They ended up looking like square nails but each one looking a little different.. It's a shame they charge you to shape nail but don't do a good job on what you ask for & I even told her multiple times. Although it wasn't exactly what I asked for it still turned out to look good! So I haven't gotten my nails done in some years. A friend asked me to go with her and lemme tell you!! I am so glad I went. Tried to make an appointment for 3pm on a Saturday. Called at around 1:50, but the only availability was 5pm. Perfectly fine. This location is right next to Taco Bell. Bathrooms are located to the right, remember the key. Walking in, it is bright and there are these huge comfy chairs you might not want to leave. It is air conditioned as it should be. Nail Technician: mine was Ben. I showed him a photo he looked at for 2 seconds and brought me to the chair closer to the window. Started cleaning my nails and filing. Wish I took a before photo now that I think of it. Anyways I wanted long(but not too long) coffin shaped nails. Proceeded with the acrylic application! He made sure I was ok with every step before moving on. He had a bit of a helper, but Ben fixed all the mistakes she made! ASK FOR BEN! They even offer complimentary drinks! My total came out to $88. Left him $22 because he worked on my friend and I pretty much alone and it was close to closing time! Also, I appreciated how attentive and patient he was. And made my nails perfect!! *THIS IS A ONE STAR REVIEW - NOT A 2 OR HIGHER* I was out on vacation with my family this week. My mother and I booked an appointment to get a mani/pedis, I had the absolute worse time here. While my mother was getting settled for her pedicure I was taken to get my nails filed of its dip. As I'm soaking one hand in polish remover the lady whose working with me is pinching down on each of my fingers as she's filing down. She eventually nicks me and the side of one of my finger starts bleeding. Then she leads me over to start on my pedicure, so I'm sitting there with sticky fingers/nails about to get a pedi. She asked what color I wanted and I said "I don't know, is there some options that I can see?" She then brings a basket full of colors over and asked If I would like "Gel or Polish" I said Polish. She looks and said "But you have Gel on your toes" I told her "I know, I'd like Polish" She looks over to my mom and said "But she's getting Gel" I informed her that I knew that but I would still like polish. I just decided on a French tip after that. She begins to file my toes down as low as they can go, did she ask me if I wanted them super short? Of course not. She starts on the French tips and with my toenails being this short now they start looking like frowny faces, which was my mood. I asked her if she could just paint them all White after that. Once finished she starts with the dip, her method was a bit unusual, she would flick my fingertips after dipping them. After that I went to wash my hands, my fingers was still covered in the sticky combo solution that nail polish remover would be perfect to get off, I went over to the woman that help me and asked her about it but she suggested I just scrub it off so back to the sink I go, scrubbing trying to remove it and of course it doesn't comes off. I go back to her and she decides to buff/file the sticky solution off. So when I travel back to Maui I will not go back there but the woman who worked on my moms nails did an amazing job! Her name was Kim, and she was awesome. I had a different lady whom I didn't even bother to ask her name, but she wore a Lavender dress. I just hope she doesn't pinch or make another customers bleed. I haven't been here in a while but I got a gift certificate for Xmas and I'm glad I did! Loved it! Probably the best pedicure/massage I've had in a long time. I walked in and was greeted right away. I would highly recommend this nail spa in Maui- I couldn't have had a better experience here. The staff here is amazing- super friendly and they make you feel so relaxed. The place was recently renovated so it looks beautiful and super clean inside. Ben did my nails today and he is definitely one of the best nail technicians I've ever met. The place is clean and enticing. Quality of service is good but they are not friendly here. I came here to have my nails done for my son's wedding. The nail technician asked me if I have the designed I wanted for my nails and I said no I don't have it yet and started looking what fits to my dress. Of course, I do understand that there are people who are waiting for service and the place is not that busy anyway. Most incredible pedicure hands down!! This is my go to spot on Maui and I've tried 3 others. Service is wonderful and the staff kind and friendly. Right when you walk in you are greeted and offered a beverage of cool water, hot green tea, or Vietnamese coffee. They may have a wait because they are such a lovely and popular nail salon. I would suggest calling ahead and making an appointment. I called just 30 min ahead with a 2 person reservation and they were able to accommodate me. The massage chairs are incredible they even provide heat and massage your arms. I get an amazing Ocean Pedicure every time complete with invigorating sea scrub, minty cool clay, warm towels and a long amazing massage. I have my ingrowns cut from my big toes every time, and they do such a great job it doesn't hurt at all. They have a huge selection of nail colors including regular, gel, and my favorite dipping powder. Can't say enough great things about this salon, you will not be disappointed!! read more

I don't often get a pedi but this is officially my go to salon and where I would recommend everyone come. $33 for a traditional pedi; all the usual bits included but a nice scrub/hot towel/longer massage than other places I've been. There's a tub cover which I appreciate so much, and buffer/scrubber/file that is used on only you (given to you to keep). terrible absolutely disgusting experience. my appointment was at 2 left at 330 with incompleted nails the woman was rushing and being very rough to my nails. every design i asked for was declined and when she made suggestions that i didn't want she got upset with me. after 1.5 hours they sent me home with this. they were upset it was taking too long. they over booked the schedule every staff member was busy. i made an appointment, but when 4 people came in for walk in pedicures they took them in and made me wait. they were pushy with colors and designs. then got upset when i declined their suggestions. i thought the customer got to decided what nail designs they could have? they put their stress and energy of over booking onto me and gave me the very end of the stick. all the other customers were being helped and i sat unhelped for 40 minutes waiting to be serviced AND Like i said i made an appointment. the professional thing to do would to not over book then ask your customer to leave because it was taking too long.!!! terrible terrible terrible. i hope they go out of business. if this is how they conduct business they'll be out of the game soon. again- terrible experience. extremely rude and unprofessional. she passed me off to another technician who said i should go somewhere else. don't come here they overbook then get stressed and annoyed when they have customers. nail time is relaxation and pampering to most people. read more

I made an appointment yesterday and got right in for the morning. I had a dip manicure by Sarah. She did the best job I can remember in a long time. I've been getting manicures in various salons around the west coast this last year. I can say by far hers was the best! I like how all of the manicurist is the spa take their time and do a precise job instead of rushing through the manicure. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the spa was impeccable! The prices are competitive, Kim did wonderful flowers on my toes, and they have lots of COVID safety and cleaning protocols (the cleanest and safest of all the nail salons I've been to). This NAIL SALON IS RACIST!! DO NOT GO THERE!! I could not believe the treatment that my adult daughter and I received when we visited this establishment. We walked in during the afternoon and there were only 2 customers having service. Three nail technicians were lounging and talking in a language (not English). We were barely greeted as we came in the door. We waited for what seemed a long time, before someone came over to the desk to ask what services we were interested in. I explained to her that we were there (not as a walk-in), but to make future appointments for the following week. We wanted a regular mani/pedi for my daughter and a regular pedicure for myself. She looked at her book and said, "maybe Wed. next week". I said, ok. Then I asked her very politely about how they sanitized their nail tools, files, etc. I am keen on going to a clean salon. Ive had too many bad experiences with salons not sanitizing correctly. She then said, "oh we dont have any appointments available for the next three weeks!!" I said, "Oh really? Do you mean that you have zero appointments available now for any day, at any time -- totally slammed for 3 weeks??!!" She said, "sorry we dont have nail techs available (there were 3 standing there talking when we came in!) Then she told me, "there are other salons you can try to go to"!! I got her card, name and told her I would call in 3 weeks. My daughter and I are of mixed heritage. We definitely do not look Caucasian or Asian. I got a bad vibe that they just did not want to serve us on any day. But, I wanted to not jump to conclusions and give them the benefit of the doubt; that maybe they were a really nice place and they were totally booked. But, it began to bother me. So, I went home and told my husband about it. My husband is Caucasian and has a beautiful english voice. I asked him to call the salon and ask for appointments for the exact same services that we wanted, on the exact same dates (2) that we had asked for, but they turned us down. My feelings of discrimination were justified when he put the phone on speaker and I heard the woman tell him politely that the appointments were definitely available. I cant believe this salon is still in business. And, especially in Maui, Hawaii. I will never go there. Dont waste your time, energy or money in supporting racist practices at this establishment. OK, my wife was here while I went to Ace hardware nearby, and I dropped in to see her. She encouraged me to try a pedicure and I did. This was the best pedicure I've ever had. Also, it was my first pedicure, so it's automatically the best. These ladies know what they're doing! I had the best pedicure of my life at this spa! Ruby was so thorough and did an amazing job. Their spa chairs are also the fanciest massage chairs I've ever been in. The whole staff was very kind, friendly, and accommodating. Plus, the salon was set up with lots of safety measures in place to keep staff and customers safe during the pandemic.
