This croissant was different from other croissants because it was a lot more dense and not that fluffy. I didn't have a problem with that. We both wanted to try their grougeres (French cheese puffs) but found out that they were discontinued. The customer in front of me said that they always have new things and you never know when they will discontinue something. He enjoyed the chocolate cloud cake. I found out today that I could get a light bake or a dark bake for the Miche. This was very good to know as last week I had a dark bake and it was very bitter. Today I intentionally got a light bake. Right next door is a Peet's coffee shop which is perfect for getting a cup of coffee and enjoying it with their fresh pastries. This is such a cute little neighborhood and the people in line today was all so friendly. I will be coming back to this charming bakery regularly to enjoy their amazing bread and pastries.

The yuzu curd is not too sweet, they really lean into the sour so it balances out the sweet bun nicely. The pandan bun is like nothing I've EVER had. It's the strongest pandan flavored anything I've ever had. You can smell the pandan before you even bite into it.
