REVIEW #1000! My…read moresiblings and I like to donate blood together, and so my brother and I decided to come here and give platelets. I had only donated with the Red Cross once back in college, so this was my first time doing platelets at a donation center. I didn't even know they had them, I thought they only did mobile drives. But it makes sense since platelet donations are only done at a center. It was easy to create an account and schedule an appointment online. I like that I could add my donor id to my phone wallet, since they ask for it at checkin and during the interview process. The center is easy to locate and parking was plentiful. We signed in at the front desk and got name tags, which was a thoughtful touch. We were told it would be a bit of a wait since they had a big rush of donors come in. We sat in the waiting area for 30 minutes until our names were called. The interview process went smoothly and I absolute love their hemoglobin tester! No finger pricks here and my level was healthy. I also like that they do a temperature check using a forehead thermometer, so there's no need to remove my mask. Sandy was funny and personable and I enjoyed having her throughout my donation process. She was attentive and made sure I had everything I needed, including a warmed blanket and tums for the tingling. The donation chairs each have their own tv screen and headphones, which is great because giving platelets here requires a needle in both arms, so you aren't free to use one to read a book or use a device. My donation took 116 minutes, so I watched a movie on Netflix to help the time pass by (though I could hear it fine, the volume level was not adjustable from the remote). Tori helped me when I finished and was great. They have a nice selection of snacks in the canteen area plus water and juices, so I enjoyed a tropical punch, cheezits, and some pretzels. The staff gave us a nice bag and these plastic popcorn containers as a gift for our first platelet donation with them, which was an unexpected surprise. Overall, it was a positive experience despite the wait time and two arm donation. The staff was great and helpful and I'm glad we were able to donate here! Go donate blood/platelets if you can :-)

I arrived with the orders from Dr. Willmott. I was greeted & taken care of by one of the office staff right away. Very friendly office staff here. Erin & Brittany were the techs who took care of me & did my mammogram work. They are super nice, very caring & compassionate, & quite helpful. Because of my referral, I was seen as a priority patient. I recommend this office for any woman who is in need for a mammogram.

The front desk employee checking people in around 12:45 p.m. on July 21, 2026 (long dark wavy hair, no name tag) was very unprofessional. She came across as passive-aggressive, rude, and on a power trip. She honestly reminded me of the stereotype people have about TSA employees. This is a medical facility where people are dealing with very serious health problems. A little kindness and compassion go a long way. There is a professional way to enforce policies without making patients feel like they're an inconvenience or talking down to them. I've always had good experiences here, which is why this interaction was so disappointing. I hope management addresses it because the front desk is the first impression patients have, and they deserve to be treated with respect. I now prefer the Mesa location over Gilbert, even though I live here. I did have a good experience with Tiffany, the US technician. She was kind, professional & efficient. I went to Vitalant planning to donate whole blood, but the staff suggested I switch to a plasma…read moredonation because my hemoglobin was "really good." I agreed. After 40min, the machine couldn't draw enough plasma and the technician told me "it's still enough, we can stop here, you've given enough blood." So I left thinking at least part of my donation was collected and would be used. A few days later, I checked my Vitalant account and saw my donation listed as "Unsuccessful Draw." No explanation, no details, nothing. That means the donation was discarded -- yet the staff told me everything was "enough" and "good." This is incredibly confusing and honestly feels misleading. If the product was not usable, then say that. If nothing was collected, then say that. If partial plasma was discarded, then say that. A donor should not have to guess what happened to their own blood. I volunteered my time and my body to help people, and the lack of transparency makes me feel like my effort didn't matter. Vitalant needs major improvements: Clear communication/Transparency: Donors should be told upfront when a donation ends early and whether anything is actually usable. Or even online portal should show more details, what was taken, what was discarded, how much was taken, where is it going, who did i help, some sort of transparency. Accurate donor history: The online portal should show what was collected (blood, plasma, partial amounts) even if it's discarded. Respect for donors' time: It's discouraging to give blood only to learn from the website -- not the staff -- that it was thrown away. I want to support blood donation, but this experience left me confused, disappointed, and feeling like I wasn't told the truth. So, I am not going back to Vitalant for sure but I will still explore more options to help out people.

When I called to make appointments for my kids the people on the phone were great and were quick to…read morecall back and get me in sooner. HOWEVER upon arriving it was obvious the check in lady was new (which is fine as long as there's obvious effort in improving or learning the ropes.) She was extremely slow to check me in, did not make eye contact, was so quiet I could barely hear her (god forbid you're hard of hearing). Did not even check my demographics, which were all wrong and misspelled. I arrived 30 min early to my appointment and ended up not even filling out paperwork or medical release forms which is important when I'm trying to establish a pediatrician for my kids to have continuity of care. The NP was fine. She reassured me my kiddo was okay and let me know what to watch out for. However she finished up and left the room without even checking my baby's belly (she was in for vomiting). She did came back inside to do the physical portion of the exam thank goodness. Overall the visit cost me $230+ for what I felt was subpar medical care. I would not recommend using banner as PCP especially for CHILDREN. They are the most vulnerable of our population and deserve pediatric care that is excellent or at least decent. I will not be coming back and hope they improve their standard of care. In the case of an emergency or a serious illness it does not sit well that the staff cannot even get something as simple as names and date of births correct. I'm sure the doctors are great but if your front desk/ first people you see are incompetent it ruins the overall quality of your practice.

I was connected to a human w/in 30 seconds each time w/o navigating a five minute phone tree. The call took a little longer than I felt was necessary, but the women on the line were professional, thorough and competent. Front desk staff was not only professional and competent, they were smiles all around. How nice was that? The Xray tech managing my imaging was professional, competent, and an absolutely delightful young woman.

Had a poor experience. Only reason for 2 stars is the check in and reception process was efficient…read more After that the experience was poor. Went there on a Sunday afternoon at about 430. After getting checked in for a possible broken elbow, vitals were taken and MD examined. We were told the xray tech was in with someone and we would be next. We sat there for over an hour (I can't imagine one set of X-rays took an hour). X-rays were finally taken in less than 5 mins. Then after sitting another 30 mins, I asked how long it would be until someone could look at the xray. I was told "this is the part that takes a while" and that I "was lucky they were still on the day schedule because the night time wait time can be up to 4 hours." We waited about 20-30 mins then asked again how long it would be. They couldn't give me a TAT so we got up and left. We were there for over 2.5 hours to have 3 X-rays taken. And who knows how much longer it would have taken to have someone read the X-rays. I don't believe there were a large number of patients there at the time. The parking lot only had a few cars, waiting room was empty and the nurses desk outside the exam room had the same nurses/techs/MDs sitting there our entire wait. Their website says little to no wait. How healthcare should be. That was not my experience at all.
