Cannot beat the weekday lunch price. However I still prefer Yumee Katsu. The portion is huge though. Bibimbap seems ok. The Katsu taste ok, can be tastier inside. Service was friendly and quick. Ambiance is cozy, comfortable and roomy.

Came with a party of 10 at lunchtime on a Sunday, no reservation was needed, and we were seated right away. It's a small establishment in a strip mall so there was easy parking. Server was attentive, kind and patient. Food came out hot and fresh and the serving size was excellent. The menu has 2 kinds of fried chicken: the actual whole bird or just the wings and drums. Good thing we asked for clarification because the kids just wanted wings, but we almost ordered the "full" fried chicken because we mistakenly thought "full" and "half" were referring to the serving size but it's actually describing the size of the bird. I recommend this place for families who want an easy, no fuss meal with plenty of delicious options for adults and kids. Would eat here again :)

Staff was warm welcoming us in. The vibe is open & relaxed with two video monitors; one on each side of the restaurant. The menu is a good balance of Korean dishes, we needed more time to decide! We started with katsu kimbap which was very good and filling! The roll was huge, it's an entree but we wanted to try it anyway, Glad we did because now hubbs will have it whenever we are in the mood. Hubbs never had Korean food before and he picked beef bulgogi which is a great choice. The plate was huge with large portions and we were there for "lunch" not dinner. We were pleasantly surprised he got TWO side salads both different although super fresh and very good. all that in addition to steamed rice! how did they know my hubbs likes mac salad? That was a plus. I tried the Tofu kimchee which also had chicken in it. It was a glorious looking dish with generous portions again! I'll upload a pic of my takeout box later. Flavor--all the dishes were very well seasoned with nothing lacking. Give this lil gem a try, we're ordering wings for takeout. Servings--huge!

There's nothing so satisfying and comforting as Korean army base stew. My friend and I were trying to share one but accidentally ordered two. I didn't mind the leftovers at all, especially since the leftovers allow the flavors to blend more and become richer and deeper. It had everything that should be in army base stew, even the cheese. Doesn't have beans which for me is a good thing. It's a good level of spice for most people, though I always want maximum burning your bootyhole spicy. The price is very reasonable for the lunch special also. Would definitely recommend and come back for it.

It's been a minute since I last came to eat here. Food is still very good. Crispy delicious fried chicken that you can eat plain or with sauce! That crunch on that double fried chicken is ASMR heaven. Kimchi fried rice that smacks every time. The Gimbap isn't too special, it's like any other regular ones if you've had it before. This time we got free sides: salad (with like a mayo/mustard dressing) and kimchi, fishcakes, and bean sprouts. The Japchae is a bit on the greasier side and a tad bit salty but still tasty. I opted no meat. All this food with tip and all is about $100. Would definitely recommend and I'll be bringing my family next time!

We came here on a Saturday evening around 7 PM and it was lively in the best way-- full of energy and great smells. We ordered the kimchi kimbap, soft tofu soup, and the Korean fried pork katsu, which all came with a variety of tasty banchan. Everything was so good-- flavorful, comforting, and perfectly cooked. Even after we finished eating and paid, my fiancé and I stayed another 40 minutes just watching Game 7 of the World Series because the atmosphere felt so homey and relaxed. The guys working there were super friendly and chill, which made the whole experience even better. Can't wait to go back!!

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant after being on a road trip. We got the Katsu Curry and the Soft Tofu Soup! The katsu chicken curry was SO good, great portions and the salad it came with was very refreshing! The Soft Tofu soup had came out with some rice and it hit the spot! The service was very quick, and the environment was super chill for a late night eatery! Would def come back for a night bite!

Tried this fairly new place. Food was pretty good. Nice serving sizes, good service and lots of tables on Sunday, for our group.

Decent service and the food arrived fairly fast. We arrived at 8:45pm and I thought it was slowing down for dinner. I was wrong. People started piling in! It's now 9:40 pm and they're packed! Place is clean and comfortable. The portions are huge! Everything was delicious. We ordered: Fried chicken drums and wings - crispy, crunchy, juicy, and full of flavor! Bulgogi Plate - Beautifully plated. Beef was tender. Salad was good. Big Katsu Plate - Also beautifully plated. Nice and crispy. Not greasy. Japchae - big portion and was really good. Fries Definitely will come back.

This is my second time coming here, I don't know why it took me so long to try this place but I really like it. Both times the service has been great and the food tasted really fresh. Got the bulgogi lunch special today and I didn't think it would come with so much food, I was full half way but I wanted to finish it. Also got one order of Kimbap which was also really fresh and refreshing. Will be trying their other items in the future.

I haven't visit here in a long while. They had updated their lunch menu. So many choices. I stuck to my usual - Korean fried chicken. It comes with Cole slaw salad and pickled diced turnips. And I ordered the watermelon soda. The Cole slaw was plentiful with a drizzle of dressing. Still the wait for chicken was unusually long, extra salad was offered which I declined. When the chicken brought to my table they were hot and crispy and juicy. Although it was fine on its own, I'm so accustomed to sauce, I asked for some. Two sauces were brought over and comped. Sauces are an extra $1 and glaze would be $2. The sauces, garlic soy sauce and the other honey chili. Somehow, I had preferred the soy based sauce to my surprise. The chicken wings, drumlettes and drumsticks were fulfilling that I couldn't finish the remaining three full sized drumsticks. So they were packed for home with the soy garlic sauce. The service was friendly and attentive. Future visits are warranted.

Great food! The tofu soup was amazing and even the ramen was better than any ramen I have tried here in the east bay.

Are they open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day?

Yes. We are open. Christmas Eve is regular hour Christmas day is 11:00 am-6:00 pm

Do i have to speak korean to go there? I ask this because in the one i went to i heard them all speaking in korean and i couldn't spot anyone who looked anything other than asian, so I was just wondering.

If you can speak, Korean speak Korean if you can speak English speak English but it's not necessary to speak Korean. they probably spoke Korean with a certain customer because they're a returning customer and they know that the customer could speak…

Hi! Are they open for indoor dining now? Thank you!

Chicken was super crispy always flavorful. Generous helping of the radishes so I was happy about that. The sausage and rice cake app we ordered was very interesting. I think if you eat one piece of each together it pairs well. The cheese balls were really sweet so again if you take a whole bite and get some of the melted cheese with the sweet exterior, I think it paired well. No complaints

The soy garlic and the spicy were my go-to with a side of rice and pickles. I was usually not a boneless chicken girl but Bonchon changed my mind. I was feeling nostalgic so I went here. Now, I do not know if maybe everyone does their stuff a little differently, but the chicken we got here was pretty disappointing. It almost felt like chewing into a chicken meat ball. I bit to it and each piece had some air space in the middle. Almost like the ball was formed and not a whole piece of chicken. The sauce was very uneven, some pieces didnt even have the sauce on it. Overall I will not be going here anymore. With how expensive everything is lately, my meal was not worth it for the price unfortunately.

As this one had a unique vibe to it with its design and interior. When it comes to service that's where it could be improved. When we went it wasn't too busy but it seemed to take our waitress longer than it should've to get us refills on our drinks. Or to get our food when we were waiting for our meals. It also seemed to take longer than it should've for us to be seated too even though again the place was not very busy. The other criticism is the layout of the TVs as they're kind of placed at random which can make it frustrating to watch any game that is on. In the end, this is a decent location to visit and get lunch at. But it still has room for improvement.
