I brought my car in for a coolant leak that was initially minor and gradual. The mechanic diagnosed it as a radiator issue. I specifically asked if the hoses and other components were checked, but I was told the radiator needed replacement. I trusted the diagnosis and paid for the repair. About four weeks later, while driving, all of my coolant suddenly leaked out, which led to severe engine damage. This was far worse than the original issue and could have been prevented with a proper inspection and accurate diagnosis. This experience cost me a significant amount of money and stress. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting this shop with your vehicle--especially if you own a German car. Based on my experience, I would not return and cannot recommend their services. PLEASE AVOID And SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

Tidwell charged a $100 diagnostic fee and provided an estimate for a brake job of nearly $900. I sought another estimate from Brakes Plus where they found a bolt was missing on one of the calipers creating the noise. Brakes Plus provided the remedy at no charge. I informed Lindsey & manager that their mechanic is not quite thorough in the diagnostic and it's not good for business long-term. I was told, "We stand by our decision." As a business owner myself, I was trying to help them. So be it. They can hold fast and ride this to the bottom. BTW, this is the second time. They told me that I needed a new engine and the remedy was a new oil pump. Troy, the shop owner, apologized for the mistake and offered to refund the Diagnostic Fee. Hopefully, they can train the tech and office staff for better customer service.

They quickly responded to my inquiry and got me scheduled to come in. The team did their own diagnosis of the car and instead of just agreeing with Mazda, they said they didn't even believe the $2k repair was even necessary at that time. They found a couple additional small items that they recommended I fix, but were never pushy or trying to sell me on anything. From the time I reached out and throughout the process the team communicated well. They handled all the other recommended repairs same day for significantly less than the dealership wanted to charge. These guys are honest and well priced and I highly recommend them for any car work you need done.
