Chris and Chris showed up a bit past my scheduled time frame from helping another client's move. They were apologetic on their delay. Sometimes moving does not go as planned and it's something to keep in mind as some clients before your scheduled time might have more stuff than what they think which might delay things for others that are on the schedule for the day.  Once they showed up they did great and made me feel at ease. They had such a positive attitude doing such a tough job and on a hot day - they know what they are doing and are truly experts at it. I was a little concerned that my  things wouldn't fit in the truck I rented but they made it work.  I have such an appreciation for movers and the work they do.  Moving is tough but they know best and they did it with a smile on their face after a long day of helping others move.  Thanks Chris and Chris for working your magic. Recently moved from south Texas to south austin. I was NOT prepared to unload my truck when my friends bailed on me. I called 10 different moving company's, some were really polite and helpful, but Ogre crew were the only guys willing to come out in a pinch and saved the day. Even though we did not call ahead and reserve a time with them, they came out in between other moves when they heard I was completing my move alone. For a very reasonable price they showed up to my door same day (3 hours after our call to them) and unloaded my entire 26ft uhaul within 2 hours!! The effort they gave and wonderful work they completed is the reason I even created a Yelp account. Just so I can share my experience with this team of movers. If you are moving to the Austin, lockhart area. You can rely on Ogre movers to get your stuff unloaded and in place at your new home. The best moving crew I have worked with to date! I have moved a lot over the years and I have used numerous moving crews. Ogre Man Movers were by far the best! I chose them due to their positive reviews online and they did not disappoint. They arrived early and worked insanely fast. I was shocked at how quickly they covered, packed, and secured our belongings into our POD. They were amazing! Wonderful customer service (super quick response, within minutes) and just lovely people. I had movers cancel on me last minute the day before Thanksgiving. I rushed and hired them last minute. They were sweet and didn't charge us double time as would normally happen and were fast getting through a 2 bedroom move. I couldn't recommend them enough. He helped me coordinate with the container company to have our contents unloaded and reloaded back into the container once the other company was able to get it out of the driveway (steep, short slope). This team is awesome!!! I needed help unloading a 16 ft rental truck and I'm soooo glad that I went with Ogre Man Movers. This team arrived on time and completed the job under the 2 hours that they were scheduled. They were incredibly friendly, professional and even cracked a joke or two. The two friendly and hard working guys who arrived at my house this morning with more boxes than I remember packing couldn't have been nicer. A LOT of what they brought had to go upstairs. Despite the heat, they graciously took things upstairs, placed them where I asked and went right back to the truck to get more. Suddenly they were done! It was a pleasure having them here. They showed up on time and finished within their quoted timeframe. The movers were really respectful and patient with us as we talked through our needs. They also used our blankets and wrap to make sure everything made it safely. We were able to drive from Austin to Denver with a 4 bedroom house full of stuff without ANYTHING coming back broken, dented, etc. so I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing to get everything squared away for a move. read more

Dave and Sebastian were so efficient and friendly. Never have I ever been called "ma'am" so many times, LOL. I appreciated how they asked if it was okay to wear their shoes on our carpet and how at the end of moving all our things into our house, they asked if I needed any of the furniture moved around. Today was quite a day. Me and my wife hired movers to help us move into our first home with a whole bunch of stuff. Quan (hope that's spelt right) and Chris showed up and executed the job perfectly. We lived on the second floor of our apartment and it was a very hot day. Dave and crew did a great job on my somewhat difficult move today, very pleased with their ability to get everything done in a timely manner, with multiple staircases, a hill, and having to maneuver heavy objects through a few awkward tight spaces. This was my second time using them to help me move and both moves were amazing and as pain free as a move can be. They were on time, stayed late to get job finished, and took maybe a 5 minute break in 95 degree heat!!!! All my furniture was not damaged and they even helped me put back together some of my furniture. I would definitely use them again !!! read more

Last minute request for help and they did a great job. The men worked well as a team. They showed professionalism and really cared about using their time wisely.
