We surprisingly loved the fruity pebbles the most. We had a few macarons refrigerated.. restraining ourselves from eating them all at once and they were just as amazing (or dare I say.. almost better? Giving them a slight ice cream texture). For the Grape & Cheese Macaron, even though it looked very pretty, other than the grape itself, I couldn't taste any grape favor in the macaron shell or the filling/cream. The macaron itself was well made though. All the cream puffs tasted like the favors stated. The cream puff shells had a crunchy and delicate texture. The cream was thick and creamy(tasted more like custard than fresh cream). My favorite was the Pork Floss Cream Puff since it was a nice mix of savory and sweet. Overall, the items were pretty expensive but the quality was just so-so. I would come back for the cream puffs but not the macarons. read more

It's a really small bakery store, but their patio sitting area is nice and clean. My husband found them by accident on the way to the grocery store and it has become our favorite bakery store since. Something I like a lot is the cream in their cream puffs is not too sweet like some of the other traditional western desserts and it has a creamy and consistent texture. I've been eyeing this bakery for the longest time ever and I finally got to stop by after my visit to SJ This small & cozy bakery can be a bit hard to miss as it's located in a plaza but look out for the "Oh Honey" logo sign! I went there an hour before closing and I was worried there would be no macarons left but I was pleasantly surprised to see a nice variety. I ordered 6 macarons: - Red Velvet - Fruity Pebbles - Crème Burlee * - Ferrero Rocher * - Thai Tea - Black Sesame * (* indicates my favorites!) The fatcarons were delicious and not too sweet! They're super cute too, especially the character for the black sesame. The price for all 6 was about $25 which is a bit pricey but they're definitely a nice treat! So glad this place has opened again! Make sure you try their macarons and cream puffs. I loveeeed their pork floss cream puff. Have had pork floss in a couple of desserts now and I'm still surprised every time by how well it works! Sounds weird but it won't disappoint. The interior of this place is pretty small but beautifully decorated! And the have an outdoor seating space as well. I've been wanting to try their cream puff and finally did it. But I would say it's not my cup of tea, and definitely overpriced! Their cream puff is $4 each! And they're tiny!! Flavor is also mediocre at best. Since they're not made to order, I feel like the cream puff is a bit soggy. I look on yelp a lot and never saw this place come up even though it was so close. It was down an inside street and had to park across the street. The prices were really good given the appearance and filling amounts. 4.50 for one was not bad at all! I have been to other places where a small one was 3.50 and the filling was flat. Here that isnt the case you even get small toppings within and hidden goodies that really add to the flavor. I was so excited to try this place. Im a sucker for a cute character as well. Those cream puffs are sooooo good!! I have tried their pistachio, black sesame, tiramisu, and earl gray flavors. All were really good and tasted so fresh. My favorite is pistachio, followed by earl grey (though you need to like earl grey tea because the tea flavor is pretty strong). These are huge and high quality cream puffs, so they are also priced accordingly ($4-$5 per piece). Service was friendly and super quick. There's parking nearby but this place is only for to-go. However there is a Mr Sun boba tea shop next door where one can sit and enjoy the cream puffs while drinking tea. Yummm! read more

Pros: - Taste of the macarons is good Cons: - I like the concept of these filled macarons and they look great, but these aren't the easiest to eat - The macarons themselves aren't the freshest; when we tried to eat them, the feet were getting torn apart. That doesn't happen when the macarons are freshly made - Most importantly, NOT sanitary! While we were here, someone who I guess was the owner's friend, stopped by with a dog (which, might I add, was not a service animal). The owner started playing with the friend's dog, while not wearing any gloves. That's fine, if the owner was then going to wear gloves while handling food items or packaging material, which did NOT happen. The owner continued chatting with the dog owner, and went back to folding boxes - which I'm sure will then be used to pack food to go. Again, that's all acceptable if the owner were to do all this after washing her hands with water and soap - which is a requirement for food service employees to resume working by health departments nationwide - but the owner did none of this. I'm now worried, if she (and/or her staff) are willing to do this in front of customers during business hours, what must be happening off hours and when customers aren't around. read more
