It's also a good sign when the majority of the people's nationality matches that of the restaurant's cuisine. Authentic. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling "pho" so I opted for Mongolian Beef instead. Have been on a Pho kick lately with it getting colder . For a rainy sunday it was definitely a good call. The place is definitely a popular choice as it took a few mins to get a table . The broth was good , a very nice amount of meat , I went with beef and brisket. Also had the pork spring rolls and a pork banh mi. Spring rolls came out 1st and they were tasty. Let me tell you though-that pork they used on the banh mi was some of the best I've had . The char, the beautiful flavor on it, and lets not forget it was perfect for sharing. I got full off that and only few sips of noodles from the pho -ended up taking it home . Such a delicious sandwich. This is my favorite Pho spot in the Valley!! Prices were more reasonable in the past, but I understand that inflation has been hard on small business owners. The filet mignon pho is now officially over $20 :,(. Still a decent deal, but I used to love to brag about that price tag to friends. They have a large menu, and you can't go wrong. We recently tried the new special Lychee Lemonade. It was delicious. The broth is on par with SoCal Pho from home. The entire restaurant is filled with those comforting, slightly spicy aromatics that make Pho broth so irresistible. Service was always been really friendly and warm, without being overbearing. Where to even begin. I ordered the bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup), butter wings fish sauce, pho dac biet (house special), and calamari. Bun Bo hue was not traditional but even if I put that aside, it lacked flavor, noodles were too hard, broth was not hot, and they didn't give me everything that was supposed to come with it. The pho lacked flavor and depth. Fish sauce wings were fine and the calamari was great. The batter was light and airy. Service was ok but a few issues. I had to knock off a star on my latest visit last week. I decided to try the Bun Bo Hue for the first time and unfortunately it was not very flavorful to me. I usually always get some type of Pho on my visits and ANY Pho broth I have tried to date is incredibly flavorful and delicious. The Bun Bo Hue had none of that flavor explosion going for it. Quite disappointing. It also was not spicy at all. It came with a side of what looked to be chili oil. Perhaps I was supposed to add that in? The ham hock was also quite tough and the broth was not piping hot. There were new faces as server's. My familiar server's looked to be in the back of the kitchen now. Our personal server was a girl. She may have been Hispanic, but I could be wrong. She saw us waiting at the front and approached us to ask how many in our party and then sat us. After giving us a minute to go over the menu and placing our orders. She brought our food out and was never seen again. I wanted to ask for Siracha and Hoisin sauce for dipping, but I couldn't find her anywhere. I saw a gentleman server who looked busy helping people at his own tables, but not our server. She finally came out to give us our check. She was terrible, but I still tipped her a little something. I noticed people waiting at the front door longer than needed. By far the best Pho in the state of Utah. Not the most photogenic bowl but who cares when that deep meaty beef broth hits you like it's trying to heal your soul! Pho 777 is amazing! This is me and my partners go to casual date spot! every visit we've been greeted with kindness and sat down immediately! We usually get the egg rolls or cream cheese wontons as our appetizer both are delicious i love that the egg rolls come with pickled vegetables on the side so we can make lettuce wraps if we want. This place has more authentic Viet dishes than a lot of Viet restaurants in Utah. However, they make them just okay. The dishes we ordered weren't the best, but definitely not the worst - good enough to finish. One thing that really put me off about this restaurant is their wonton soup. I love a good wonton soup. Unfortunately, that's not what I got here. It is VERY VERY OBVIOUS that they put deep fried wontons into the soup. That is so gross and appalling. This made the soup oily and distasteful. The pho came out kinda cold - sad. When we told our server, they just popped it in the microwave for a few minutes. I did like the chicken salad (goi ga). Though the taste isn't quite dank and authentic, it was still good. The shrimp chips that came with it looked like it directly came out of the fryer. The amount of oil that was still on them was disgusting. The chicken wings were big and nicely cooked. The server was nice, didn't speak Viet so we ordered using the numbers. Been searching around for pho in the SLC area. Based on the recommendation of Phoking on IG, we tried Pho 777. Pho broth was so deep and satisfying in flavor. Tons of meat - we tried the rare beef and oxtail. Oxtail meat fell right off the bone with no effort. Try their chili oil - a little bit packs a lot of heat. Service was extremely fast. Although it is a small strip mail on Redwood Road in WVC, there's plenty of parking. Will definitely be back. read more

Landed at SLC and wanted something warm. Pho 777 was super close to the airport so it fit what we needed. Menu had a lot of options and the chef specials on the back were super intriguing ! Sheesh! This restaurant is expensive! They are charging California prices for a bowl of pho in Utah and I am not feeling it. The pho is just ok, but there's so many other pho restaurants nearby that are $5 cheaper. I was pretty disappointed that they didn't have the garlic and chili peppers on the table. We've been going here for years back when it was in it's old location. The pho is really good here and one of the few places to get an Oxtail Pho in Salt Lake City. They have a really good menu of noodles and rice dishes too, if you are not in the mood for pho. I recommend starting off with their fried summer rolls but we tried all their appetizers and they are great. You can't go wrong. As far as other dishes, I highly recommend the Rice Sizzling Clay Pot (S8) & the Special Rice Plate (28). The service here is top notch. They are very helpful and the food comes out quickly. The place is clean and there are lots of tables and booths to handle any size of group. This place is super popular and the parking lot can fill up quickly but you can park in the bigger parking lot north of the restaurant. These are the pictures from our latest visit. Where does one start? Nestled in a newer plaza off redwood is my new found gem! Ever since I moved to Utah in 2022, I've struggled to find good food like I had at home in Southern California. Well, I finally asked my nail salon for help. That's how I found Pho 777. My mail lady has been telling me about this place and I finally gave in after my many failed Vietnamese restaurant choices. The customer service here is 9/10! They are so sweet the waiters are helpful and attentive. Tommy was my server and was so sweet and really gave awesome food advice of what to order. The menu is HUGE! Great for vegetarians, pescatarians and non-vegetarians.. not sure about Vegas though?! But come in and take a look The food I had over all I s 8.4/10! They have so many options, yea it's pricey... but it is fresh and tastes amazing! Southern California native I truly found my new pho restaurant. Literally my go-to spot for Pho in SLC as a native Californian that grew up in Orange County - specifically the Little Saigon area. Not saying it's anything near what we have in the OC, but probably the best you're gonna get in Utah. Have taken my family that visited here before and they enjoyed eating here as well FWIW. Definitely has the best broth flavor for pho IMO and has a good portion of noodles to broth to proteins. I usually get the House Special Pho, Vietnamese Iced Coffee and a Grilled Sport Sausage Spring Roll. The Grilled Pork and Egg Rolls (Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio) is also great. Comes with a great portion size. Their Special Rice Dish (Com Dac Biet with Suong, Bi, Cha, Tau Hu Ky and Trung Op La) is also delicious and would recommend. Staff is always friendly and do their best to recommend dishes based on customer desires from what I've witnessed. It's a lively environment and tons of family go there on the weekends to enjoy a nice meal together. There are like 3-4 TVs inside that'll have that day's sporting events or world events going on so you don't miss too much eating there. read more

I went & grabbed Pho with my friend the other day. I've only had pho once & it wasn't my favorite but I was looking forward to giving it another try & the reviews here are phenomenal! We were able to get a table quickly. The location is pretty small. We shared the Tofu spring rolls. These were delicious. I loved the peanut sauce that these come with! I would literally drink this peanut sauce, it was so good. We both ordered the Vegetable & tofu pho noodle soup. I got mine with vegan broth & my friend ordered the beef broth. Okay, this was soo good! I think I messed up on how many things I added to my broth last time unknowing. I tried the broth beforehand just to make sure I was only adding what I thought it needed. I added some bean sprouts, I love bean sprouts. They had two sauces we could add, one red & one brown. I was worried the red would be too hot for me so I added some of the brown sauce. It made it more savory. I really liked this sauce. I'm not sure what it was exactly. Staff checked in on us until near the end of our meal. We had a hard time getting a to go container for our pho soups. They start closing before closing time as well, so be prepared for that. We had someone spray the window close to us with window cleaner as we were eating & then I'm assuming the owner corrected the employee real quick to not do that because we were literally a foot away. The food was really good. I loved the veggies in the pho, I do wish they were cut up a little more though. It was kind of hard to eat the large pieces of broccoli. You definitely get your money's worth. Even though I wasn't a big fan of the BBH broth, I still enjoyed the aromatics and the consistency in the noodles. Huge plus to their chili oil, great addition to the broth and yummy dipping sauce. The fish sauce on the side was surprisingly useful and a unique item on the table. Service is great! Tommy was consistently checking in and I noticed other servers walking around with water pitchers. Attended a baby shower catered by this restaurant and all of the food was fantastic. I especially loved the grilled pork vermicelli. I wish I could have tried more dishes (crab glass noodles also great). The deliciousness was somewhat lost on some of the Sandy crowd but I trust the mom to be who knows great Vietnamese food. The broth for the wonton soup was super flavorful. So good. The wonton was fried and then placed into the broth. Interesting contrast. Not what I was expecting but the wonton filling was still very spot on. The bun bo hue was also very good. I have had better in SLC but definitely in the top five.
