I can't believe I never been here before now! Well, unless I just don't recall. I came here on a late Sunday afternoon to grab some daylight savings time coffee! Why? Bc I was exhausted. I also needed to join a zoom meeting. This location definitely was cozy inside. The patio was nice and roomy with tables. There's also an upstairs portion l! I didn't take a pic of my cortado but it really was delicious and well made! The staff is friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back soon!

Their coffee tastes so amazing. Brought my kid here for their birthday morning coffee. Service was great. They did sell me an item they didn't have any more of, so I had to select something else. But they were really nice about it. The booths closest to the door will not fit people of larger sizes, FYI. But they had outdoor as well as inside seating and we chose the upstairs area. Very nice atmosphere. The music was at the perfect level (not blaring). Very snug place to grab a nice coffee and chat.

This place smells heavenly when you walk inside. Such fantastic options on the menu for drink and food. The decor is creative and I love how they used old doors to hang on the walls. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I tried the blueberry scone and they heated it for me. So great!! Soft and flavorful with the right balance of sweetness. The Latte was tasty but the iced coffee with a pump of vanilla and cinnamon powder is the best! Super convenient location if you are staying at the Courtyard across the street.

The O'Henrey's Brookwood location has a lot to offer. Keeping up the same charming decor as it's sister stores, this particular location has ample indoor and patio seating. The drinks and pastries are consistently delish and they also keep a pitcher of water for guests. The staff knows their menu quite well and can help you find just the right drink. Their free wifi has a strong signal and you can tell by how many college students you'll see knocking out work throughout the building. Their upstairs space can also be reserved for things like small groups or other community related meetings.

    "Cappuccino"

This rating is only reflective of the coffee. I ordered a cappuccino and received a very milky latte. I asked if they could remake with half of the milk and received another very milky latte. Probably a good place to study or hang out, but the drink quality and basic knowledge of what a cappuccino should taste like is very low. Definitely wouldn't come here for the coffee.

Really enjoyed my stop here before a basketball game on Samford's campus. They have plenty of coffee options brewed and bean for you to buy. I had an americano and quite possibly one of the best I've had. I also got a salted caramel pretzel brownie as a snack and it was so good. Very rich. Like very rich, but no regrets.

Cute coffee shop with some character :) This is the type of coffee shop that is the epitome of all coffee shops. It has the cozy feeling, the wooden chairs, the clocks around the room, and of course, the smell of fresh coffee beans. It's got the classics like the americano and the lattes, but they also have seasonal drinks throughout the year! They also have muffins, scones, and even biscuits if you're a little hungry. The only downside of O'Henry's is that it is packed! If you want to come study here or meet up with an old friend, try to get there early.

This is one of my favorite places to go for coffee and particularly this location. Most recently we tried the holiday menu and everything was delicious! They even gave us a pup cup that our dog also enjoyed. It has such a cozy feel inside and the outside seating area is huge.

Sortive a wannabe Starbucks. I didn't like the coffee or the egg on the bagel. The bagel was average.

This place is my go-to study spot. Sarah H. is hands down the top barista in the city. Coffee is always 10/10

My friends got the ham and cheese croissants, which looked incredible. I got several different things to try, intending to share, but brought them all home on a rainy day and they never made it back out of the house. The olive oil cake was scrumptious. Light, pleasantly sweet. Almost a pound cake texture, not that weird polenta-y thing. The oat morning bar also had an incredible flavor. The jam was tart and the oats were sweet with a little salty finish. Fantastic with some coffee. There was a line out the door when we got here. No seating inside. It all moved very quickly. I can see why everyone says these are the best pastries in Alabama...

Lemon Bar, Olive Oil Cake, Chocolate Croissant, Miso Blondie and Brownie were what was left and most of them it was only one left. I selected the brownie it was a peanut butter spread on top and was actually really good and large enough to share with multiple people. The staff was nice and moved quickly when making the ordering process seamless. The space for guest is not very big so you do have to either sit outside or take it with you, it's a decent amount of the outdoor seating and also a coffee shop next door. In future I would hope to be able to get there earlier so I can try more of their offerings.

What a charming bakery/coffee shop in a super cute almost European nook in town. If you're…read morevisiting, I definitely recommend taking a drive to this area. Progressive area - Seems to be... There wasn't line when we got there but the crowd usually follows us for some reason so by the time we left there was standing room only and a line out the door. The bakery items were very fresh and tasty. I loved the Swedish gingerbread cookies - light and crisp. The lemon bar was delicious. They also have sandwiches that liked really good. Coffee - I got a vanilla latte extra sweet (no lavender) and my daughter said it was one of the best. I thought it was pretty good. I would go again when back in Birmingham!

Nestled in the Mountain Brook area, it's a little hard to see but is right next to Chez Lulu, which I think is a sister restaurant. Parking is a little tricky but manageable. I got there fairly late so the selection was a bit picked over, but I still got a good array of treats to bring home. Service was a touch slow but friendly. They were fairly busy. There's no room to eat inside or outside that I could discern; it's exclusively a take and go type of place. I got two pecan sandies to share with my parents, who were along for the ride, and then a cardamom bun and a peanut butter cookie for later. Sadly, I don't feel like any of the pastries really wowed. The pecan sandies were a little too dry (even as sandies go) and the pecans didn't taste toasted nor were they especially plentiful. The peanut butter cookie was the best thing, though it too was a little on the dry side - nice PB flavor though. I straight up didn't like the cardamom bun. The cardamom flavor was completely overwhelming, to the point it wasn't sweet at all, and instead tasted almost medicinal. The texture was nice but I couldn't finish it. Perhaps I arrived too late to order their specialties. I know they specialize in European goodies so if I return I'll make sure to try a croissant or something similar.

Soon as you walk in, you see packaged desserts in both full cakes and slices. They had several King Cakes, so we immediately decided to split a slice. Decided that first before what we're actually eating. #priorities Last time I ate here, I got the Chicken Quesadilla and it was so good. But a couple of my coworkers got the Marilyn Monroe, a sandwich with "turkey, pepperoni, mozzarella & marinara sauce on cheddar bread". So I went with that this time, same as my coworker. Concept here is that you order at the counter, they give you a number to display on your table, then another server will bring your order. Service was fast. The sandwich looked a bit small at first, but it was stacked with turkey and pepperoni, so the portion size was actually just right. It comes with marinara sauce on the side for dipping, which is good, because it keeps the sandwich from being too messy, but it was a bit odd because it was cold, in combination with the warm sandwich. I kinda wish the sauce had been warmer. It comes with a bag of chips and your choice of another side, which I chose fruit. I don't care for melon, so I picked around that and ate the grapes out. Next time I might get another side. And finally... it was King Cake time. We had picked a cream cheese slice and it was SO good. Had a cinnamon taste mixed in, but to be fair, this was my first King Cake so I actually have no idea what to compare it to. This dessert made me so happy. Two things I need to figure out: why is this sandwich called the Marilyn Monroe and when can we eat here again.
