Went here for a birthday and it's such a cute, lively spot. The vibe is definitely more loud and energetic with that open-air, indoor-outdoor feel. I also loved that it's pet friendly, which makes it even more fun for casual hangouts. The food was good, pretty standard bar food, nothing over the top but still enjoyable. The drinks were okay, not anything that really stood out, but they got the job done. Service was solid though, our group was taken care of the whole time. There is extensive covered open air dog friendly seating, with two bars, as well as two large people only areas with bars. I've only partaken of the beers, usually taking advantage of their four beer sampler to work through their latest seasonal offerings. The sampler is presented on a board including a marker strip with the beer names. A great variety, with a core house line up, filling a two page menu. I've never been disappointed! Each location offers a slightly different setting. We went to the Gilbert location to check out the Cornhole tournament that they do weekly. It was a lot of fun. It's been a bit since I've been here and my first observation is my favorite meal is gone :( they no longer have the seafood pasta. After coming to the realization I have to pick a new food, I chose the enchiladas. The enchiladas had pork and green chiles which were both cooked perfectly. It was served with white rice and black beans topped with cotija cheese. While it was good and tasty, I still miss my favorite meal. I'm hoping they bring it back :). OHSO has such a great patio space, and this location is massive! Our party of 3 was seated right away and we immediately ordered a round of their their strawberry basil margaritas, these were so flavorful. We ordered their Carolina BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, Brisket Sandwich and Carne Asada Taco Board-the Pulled Pork was the fan favorite at our table. We highly recommend their sweet potatoes fries. We ended the meal with a slice of Caramel Apple pie and ice cream from Pie Snob. This was absolutely delicious! Long time customers of OHSO. Wanted to sit outside and have some beers and good food and OHSO sounded great. Always greeted quickly and were sat at a table out on the patio. Service is always friendly and attentive although it was getting pretty busy for the Friday lunch rush. Ordered drinks and our food and everything always arrives so quickly! The Firebird is a tasty, buffalo chicken sandwich, very good and the fries are crispy and well seasoned. Wife's pesto chicken cavatappi was also very tasty and was a generous portion. We usually don't get dessert but the banana cream pie was highly recommended by our server and we were not disappointed. Extensive menus for food, craft beers and cocktails, you really can't go wrong. Been here two times in ten or so years. On our recent visit, I had the brisket burger under the handhelds menu. It was sloppy--had to eat it with a fork, arrived with a soggy bun and the brisket was way too fatty for my taste. The queso didn't mix well with the flavors of meat at all, and the strings were not a good texture. We also ordered a savory shrimp taco board which was lacking any sort of signature flavor that would make us seek it out again. The kids burger was fine, no complaints on that, but overall the food wasn't super impressive and the staff, although not rude, also didn't go out of their way to make the experience worthwhile, make us want to return anytime soon. read more

Met up at OHSO Brewery for a Book Club brunch yesterday morning and it was decent overall. The patio was pretty warm--we had to ask for the fan to be turned on, which helped a bit. Also lots of flies, which I get comes with sitting outside, but still not ideal. I did the $17 boozy brunch and got the monster mimosa (fun choice) and The OG breakfast bowl with green chili sauce--tasty and filling. Wish they had more coffee options though. I've frequented Downtown Gilbert for years now and have never been to OHSO surprisingly. I had been looking to go recently due to finding out that they are dog-friendly and even have a dog menu, adorably named "bark bites". My dad and I brought our pups and geared up for Happy Hour. We tried a few different things, that which included: Brisket Sliders -- 3 brisket sliders, green chile cheese sauce, crispy onion strings. These were my absolutely favorite. Soooo flavorful. Mac & Cheese -- cavatappi, boursin cheese sauce, jack & cheddar cheese. Decent, but not a show stopper. Guajillo Chile Chicken Street Tacos -- smokey kale slaw, lime crema, pico de gallo, 2 flour tortilla. My dad ordered these after the fact, I took a bite and not bad, but not my favorite. When it's happy hour you can't NOT get a little happy juice. My drink of choice was the house Espresso Martini --made with OHSO's Arcadia Coffee Vodka, kahlua and espresso cold brew. I love espresso martinis but the vodka was definitely vodka-ing. I'm more into the creamy style espresso martinis. My dad ordered a pitcher of the Don Elote and seemed to enjoy it. For the pups, double burger patties which immediately got demolished. (My pup especially loves burgers). My pup even checked out the dog park area after we were done. OHSO Gilbert is such a great spot. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in. I had the pleasure of meeting Brandon, the manager, who was super hospitable and made sure everything was going well. Kevin took great care of us and provided excellent service the whole time. The atmosphere is relaxed, upbeat, and very dog friendly, which made the visit even better because I was able to bring my dog Ziggy along. It's the kind of place where you can actually unwind, enjoy good food and drinks, and feel taken care of by the team. Definitely looking forward to coming back. Hubby & I had dinner here tonight. We chose to eat inside. We were seated right away. It took a little while for our server to come to the table, but it was okay. We were not ignored. The hostess brought us waters, & another server stopped by to tell us our server would be by soon. Our server was at our table right after that. He was friendly and helpful. He took our drink order. Hubby got a pitcher of beer since our server let him know it was only 50 cents more for happy hour. I got a red sangria. Unfortunately, the beer wasn't very cold. My sangria was good. Our food came out quickly. We ordered the potstickers & crab wontons. The potstickers were good. They were crispy & full of filling. We didn't care for the crab wontons. They didn't have much of a taste. I expected them to have a little sweet taste to them, but they didn't. Hubby ordered the pastrami sandwich with onion rings. I ordered the Mac n cheese from the happy hour section. Hubby didn't like his sandwich. He said the meat was tough. There wasn't much sauerkraut or sauce, but the bread was good. He didn't care for the onion rings as they had too much breading. My Mac n cheese was good. It was a huge portion especially for a happy hour. It was super cheesy. The service was a little slow even though it was a kind of a slow morning, but she was friendly and we weren't in a rush. Lots more to do than just eat and drink. I noticed an arcade, ping pong, and live music when I was there on a weekend in Nov 2025. Fast and friendly service. Haven't been here in a bit and was in the area for a doctor appointment so we decided to stop and have dinner. We've been here several times with our 4-legged babies and we love bringing them here because of the little dog park area and their outside patio is huge so there is lots of space to have a table where they can also lay and hang out at. And they also offer a Bark Bites menu with several options for the pups...everything with no seasoning so safe to eat. Today we didn't have the little ones so we decided to sit inside and were led to the front area of the restaurant which we hadn't actually seen before. You pass through the kitchen area so you can look in and see the cooks prepping orders. Kilee was our server and she was great! Without twisting my wife's arm...she talked her into a happy hour pitcher of the Popcycle Beer, which she loved! And yes, after drinking that who little pitcher (about 2 1/2 glasses) she had a good buzz, LOL! I love OHSO's fish & chips so I already knew that was going to be my choice. Wife decided on the Classic American Burger and added bacon to it. She also chose the onion rings because I was getting their fries, which we love as well. I didn't mark down a star because it wasn't enough to do that this time around BUT, the fish was a bit greasier than I've had in the past. Their batter is so good and crunchy and the fish inside was tender and cooked to perfection. It also comes with cole slaw, which is a creamy based one and I like it...has a good creamy tang to it. Overall good dish! She loved the burger and we both love their fries (they are coated with a seasoning but the thing we love is that they aren't overly salty). And their onion rings are also so good with a crunchy batter and when you bite into the ring, the remaining onion stays intact, which if you follow my reviews is a BIG thing for onion rings with us! Overall another great meal at OHSO and wife highly recommends the Popcycle Brew...they have a rotating menu of brews so be aware that you may have something one time and then the next time they have new offerings. read more

This place was unique love the fact that they allow dogs on their back porch and that they have special dog treats which our little girl will enjoy immensely. Our server, Braley, was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave some really good suggestions for us to try. I love the fact that I was able to try several beers for only two dollars each for 3 ounces and my favorite was the Krampus I had the smoked turkey sandwich and my husband tried their PBJ burger very interesting to me. The sautéed vegetables vegetables were very flavorful and had a nice kick to them. Love the open area feel even though we sat in the restaurant. I would love to see one of these in Georgia. Frequent spot we visit and know for spring training it's going to be busy. We brought my parents and our 3 year old. We got to OHSO around 3 and was told a 20-25 min wait, nbd. 330 rolls around and we checked in to see where we were at since a few parties had been sat but ours stayed at 2 parties ahead of us, we were quoted another 15-20 mins because the tables were reserved for later tables. Fast forward to 350ish and I checked in to see where we were at, I was quoted another 15-20 mins and the hostesses that were working were so rude and actually laughed when I walked away disappointed. We LOVE this place but have never been so disappointed in the service we received. Kristy was our server and she alone deserves 10/10 for service, appearance, and overall existence. Our waiter said he would come back to fill our waters and never did, said he would bring sauces and never did, and ended up having us wait three hours by the time he brought the bill (after we asked him for the bill 30 mins prior). Friday night = solid choice. They had live music with actual good bands (not the awkward "my cousin's garage band" situation), and the space is so big you could absolutely hide from humanity if you wanted. I like talking to people, though, and everyone I ran into was ridiculously nice. The beers? Chef's kiss. I went rogue and told the servers to just surprise me with their favorites. Honestly, I have no clue what I drank all night... but I know one of them tasted like a fruit salad (blueberry cherry) and I'm still thinking about it. I'm usually a Banquet girl, and the bartender kicked things off with "the closest thing we've got," and from there I was just along for the ride. 10/10 would repeat that adventure. Now, let's talk about the kids. Yes... kids. In a brewery. Look, I get it, they've got food, it's technically a restaurant too, yadda yadda. First off this restaurant/ open patio platform/ brewery has so many amazing fun activities, great place for family & friends . Tried out a cocktail & some carne asada style fries with their queso sauce . Let's say , it was the perfect amount of crisp on the fries and the carve asada meat had great flavor & super tender mixed with a salsa verde & cotijo cheese crumble . It was delicious!! Super clean location .. pet friendly and since it was hotter than a volcanos, they did have water misters through out to keep you cool . I'd love to come bck when they have a movie night . I've been here before and the food was ok, nothing to brag about so I didn't have high expectations. Arrived at 12:30. Got a table right away on the patio. I like the vibe and all the dogs. Took an hour to get our food. I ordered the pastrami with sweet potato fries. The sandwich had no sauerkraut on it. Our server asked if I wanted it remade or she could bring it on the side. I opted for the side. She came back to tell me they ran out of sauerkraut. Why the heck wasn't this communicated before they made my dish? No, they tried to pass off something I did not agree to. I would have ordered something else. She asked me if I wanted something else. I said no, just take it. I couldn't sit there another hour while they made me something else. My friends would have been finished long before my food arrived. I've never had a restaurant do that before. They always come back and say sorry, we are out of XYZ. Would you like something else. The 2 bites I had of my "pastrami" sandwich weren't even good. The sandwich was so dry, probably from the lack of kraut and the meat was tough and chewy. There was hardly any sauce on it. I like coming here because you can bring your furry babes. Went for brunch past Sunday and had the OG breakfast bowl with skirt steak and a side of the gravy. It was very flavorful and that gravy OMG was the best gravy ever! It was definitely the best meal I've had here and for sure getting a huge bowl of that delish gravy next time. The staff literally cleaned up as we were trying to enjoy our meal. They did mention last call for bar service but I think they should have waited to start sweeping all around our area. Came here on a recent visit to the area with my family and we had a wonderful visit! The patio is huge and the weather was mild so we hoped to sit outside but we were also dining with a 2 year old so we took first available which happened to be indoors. That being said, they had big windows facing the street and they were all open so we it was almost like we were outside! Our server was kind and accommodating of our toddler and even switched out our highchair for a booster seat when it became obvious the high chair was a tripping hazard. Service was a little slow but it was very busy and it was a Friday so that's not a complaint, just an observation. Food was good. The toddler enjoyed her first time eating mini corn dogs and her uncle finished them off what she didn't eat. Her meal had the option to come with fruit so we got that and she was happy with the selection. I ordered the steak frites and was a little surprised to see the steak on top of the fries upon arrival but it was still good. Wife ordered the shrimp tacos and they were SPICY!
