We got an assortment of food and shared, each being just the right amount of sweet and savory. Close to being the first to arrive this place got busy soon but still our two waitresses were super happy, always filling waters and getting anything quickly. Love the outdoor bar area and you can bring the dog with you. Fruity pebble French toast was sweet and had a nicely cooked crunch, softens up a little as it sits. The flavor is just like FP and it's nice thick slices of toast that is good for leftovers. Breakfast bowl was a light delicious option even with potatoes it didn't seems to be too heavy. Breakfast burrito with chorizo and stuffed with deliciousness and smoothered in creamy cheese sauce. Came here just for drinks but it is a super cool spot! Not only do they have beer and seltzers but also cocktails which made it very inclusive to all members of our group. We got there around 8 and just hung out in the outside area. They had a live band as well as ping pong, corn hole, and even an arcade area! I was here two nights ago, so Monday, November 23rd. This was on my way to a day hike in South Mountain Park for the next morning. I have had several OHSO beers in the last few years and have liked them all. On this visit with my dogs Zeke and Gretel I went in via the outdoor dog entrance and sat down at a secluded picnic table near the hostess station. I only had two beers: the Handlebar Hefeweizen and later the Popcycle Blonde, both which are great post-hike refreshments. I had these before the hike so think backwards. Unlike another reviewer's comments, everyone I saw who worked that night was masked. The hostess offered to sit me in the more crowded outdoor bar area but I told her I was happy being away from the more crowded bar area for two reasons 1) less chance of catching covid and 2) the dogs wouldn't be a menace to anyone. I was just thankful that I found this dog-friendly brewpub after driving three hours from my home. This is definitely a happening place! This is a very spacious brewpub, with a separate entrance for dog owners. My server was very attentive and even watched over my dogs while I used the restroom. I will definitely be back. read more

I have been eating here for a period of time to give it a good chance, and I must say, I am not disappointed! The food, service and atmosphere are all fantastic! One thing to keep in mind; the place is ENORMOUS! what I mean by that is there are two outside and two inside bars and dining areas! So I recommend that if one doesn't suit you, another one will. The staff here is fantastic! The bartenders are excellent as are the drinks! I'm particularly fond of the "Catch me if you cran" and their espresso martini. The wait staff and other people are also excellent! This is a place that is enjoyable time after time! The food is very good, and certain things are fantastic! Visited OHSO for their Doughnut Daze event. They made 13 beers inspired by donuts, to pair with 13 donuts for while supplies last. Super fun event. Only happens once a year. Beers were hit or miss but all were fun to pair with the different doughnuts. We Also tried their shrimp tacos. Very tasty. You build them yourself and can add Guacamole, salsa to taste. OHSO has become one of my favorite spots for breakfast on a weekend and the occasional evening or afternoon treat. The beer is as spectacular as the food, compared to many similar places. I've never had a bad meal here. The gravy on the Biscuits and gravy is like mom made but better. This last meal after a hot Arizona Disc Golf round ended up being something to share. The Brewers Board is well thought out and we add a couple of extra cheese's and were in Heaven. The Tangerine-Chilli marinated green olives were the stars of the meal. I had to take more home. They are like candy. Juicy, tender and all flavor without the brine of most olives. I like a dark rich beer with most flavor pack meals and their Barrel Aged Cryptnosis Date beer is amazing. I remember eating the croissant sandwich and that was pretty bomb. It was tasty and felt hardy at the same time. I remember seeing a small field where families would sit so their kids could run around and play. *Second time here: During the evening which was OBVIOUSLY packed. Orders the chicken and waffles. It's a $17 meal: two waffles, two chicken thigh, two pieces of bacon, syrup and whipped-sweet butter. If the waffles tasted dry, I'd double douse it with the butter. They've added a much larger outdoor area! But screen television, lawn seating and a section to play cornhole. Definitely family friendly. They had inside seating, however the highlight of the place was eating outside. The weather was gorgeous that evening and it was a nice and relaxing environment. After sitting down and ordering our drinks, we decided on the Beef Braised Short Ribs with mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes; along with a French Onion Patty Melt and mixed green salad. Both dishes was absolutely amazing and very tasty. The short ribs were cooked nice and the sauce was really good. The patty melt was probably one of the best melts I've had. It was cooked perfect and they served it with a rosemary aioli which added a whole new dimension to my taste buds. Our service was pretty much normal. I never really had my favorite menu item until I just recently went and ordered the hot chicken and biscuits. WOW! So good! The buffalo chicken was crispy and cooked perfectly! We asked him what OHSO meant and he said, "Outrageous Homebrewer's Social Outpost." I chose a Triple Dog Dare Sour to start. My boyfriend had a Hoppy IPA. We decided on the jalapeño cheese curds. They were ok, but needed a little more Jalapeño. I don't remember what my second drink was, but it was another sour which I liked more than my 1st. I love that they had a large selection. I'm so glad I came here for Sunday brunch. They have a beer brunch menu that includes a beer or mimosa with your order! OHSO is in downtown Gilbert, where other good eateries are located on Gilbert Road. Parking is easy and free. Behind OHSO, there is a small lot as well as a parking structure. OHSO is a huge establishment. There is a dog friendly entrance in the back; the brewery is in the middle; and there is a main entrance in the front. You can opt for bar seating, indoor, and outdoor seating. From the beer brunch menu, I had the chicken & waffles, chorizo egg scramble, and salmon avocado toast. I loved the chicken and waffles. It was a huge portion - enough to feed two people! It had spicy maple syrup; I think the chicken was sprinkled with some tapatio too. There were so many strips of bacon that I had to pack some home. I was with a party of 3, and there were 3 small waffles. Perfect for sharing. The chorizo egg scramble was second best. The chorizo was salty, but the tortilla evened it out a bit. I loved the fresh salsa. The salmon avocado was the least favored of the three. I didn't like the pickled onions; I think it would've tasted better with capers. The salmon should have been smoked. The toast was thin but good/not too much. There was too much salt on the kale salad. I think they should leave that for customers to add salt to their own taste. Dragoon IPA and tower station IPA were good choices. Our server said the tower station was more popular, but I think it's because it tasted sweeter. They ran out of the OHSO tropical citrus hard seltzer, so I tried the orange creamsicle. It was very light; a refreshing brunch drink when it's 90+ degrees outside. Service was good. Everyone is young and friendly. My party of three had to wait 20 minutes for a table. You leave your phone number and receive a text when the table is ready, so we just went next door to Bergies for some coffee. They need to have Yelp waitlist or a better way to make reservations. I've noticed that a lot of reviews are inflated to 4-5 stars. OHSO is cute with a fun ambiance. Our service left a lot to be desired as we had to ask other employees to please help us with things we needed or were forgotten. Cool place to hangout and have a beer but food was not phenomenal. Brisket fries were the best part of the meal. They were flavorful and large. My chicken and waffles were very cold and oily, so it was disappointing. My husband's Buffalo Chicken sandwich was also not hot and had an off-putting after taste. I wouldn't put this above a 2.5 star place for service or food. If you're coming for just beer and a place to hangout, this is a good option. Lots of people here with their kids and dogs and that was super cute. read more

They are a nano-brewery, distillery, and a restaurant all in one. They make their own beer and their own brand of spirits that labeled are with a hashtag. In addition to their own seasonal and regular beers on the menu, they will also feature other local favorites. Food includes starters, burgers, salads, and a beer brunch menu on the weekends.
