Yeah the place is fast and for lazy asses like me who can but don't want to change their own oil, it's a good deal. I started going here because when we moved to the area it was convenient and on my way home. I like the idea that you sit in your car while they change the oil and check around. But I feel like I was taken advantage of for being a girl or they are just plain over priced! We have one truck and one suv that each take an extra quart and synthetic oil. Yes that should be more expensive but they were charging me for each car $75-80 a visit. I am a bargain shopper but love convenience. I checked out another local well known shop, they charge $40-60 depending on the mileage of the car and the oil that they recommend. Needless to say I will not be returning to oil changers because i feel like i was robbed. The guys have always been very nice but unfortunately not worth the extra money or convenience. read more

First of all the guys in the shop really make this place more than just an oil change. They were so friendly and polite and were very happy to service me. I loved how you can just drive straight in and they do everything while you sit and wait in your car. The younger employee showed me all of my filters and asked if i would like them changed, he had amazing manners and was very worried of getting my car dirty as he changed my filters he kept wiping everything down. I thought him and the older gentlemen who greeted me as i came in were the real selling point on this place. I will definitely be coming back because of their customer service. They may be fast but need to be more careful. On my last oil change with them they overtightened the plastic oil filter housing. This time around it had to be broken off to replace the filter and cost me an extra $50. read more

This oil changers is like many others, you can sit in your car while they change your oil. Wait times can vary. I went at the end of the day. I was shocked how quick they were. I went next door to get a sandwich at subway and when I came back they were done! They did try to sell me some things I didn't need like an air filter, but this is a well known ploy and after I declined they didn't push the issue. Over all, a good experience. read more

I went in to get my oil changed today; my car was serviced by the Manager T-won. Really friendly and no pressure to purchase anything additional. I wound up getting a few things done as I haven't had any work on my car in a while and I'm on the road for my job. Unfortunately, what I know about cars is extremely restricted so my bf spoke w T-won who explained the service in detail over the phone. He's awesome! Friendly without being to overbearing and sales pitchy. Very polite and when he's done he goes over everything verbally in the fastest way of talking I've ever heard. I went to the Oil Changers on Oak Grove Rd. in Concord, CA recently. I was there for the "full service" oil change. There were no cars waiting behind me, so they should not have been in a rush. First of all, only the driver's side tires were checked. I was also watching when the oil was put in, and no other fluids were checked, nor was the air filter checked. Then, only the back lights and turn signals were checked, not the front. It did not occur to me until after I left that my dirty windows had not been cleaned.The receipt said "no per customer" next to "windows". The receipt also said the wiper blades were "ok", but no one touched them to look, nor did they ask me about them. Most of the "checklist" answers listed on the receipt I received were false. I will never waste my time and money there again. read more

This is my first review ever. I had my oil changed a week ago, a few days later, I went to the manufacturer dealership to get a regular service and the bill extremely scared me. They said I needed a oil filter gasket and a total of about $4,500 worth of work. I went back to Oil Changer in regard to the dealership telling me I needed a new oil filter housing gasket for the $1K portion. I spoke to the manager Mark Lucas, a kind and a respectfully appreciated, no nonsense man, who then took off the plate from underneath my vehicle, wiped it down, and said I needed nothing of the sort. He gave me a referral what I really needed, which was, break pads and tires. I will now bring Les Schwab for breaks, rotor and pads. I will save about $3k dollars. As I am a mom trying to put her kids through college, I am eternally grateful. read more

Last time I was here there was really only one guy working on my car, it seemed as if there was a guy that wasn't on duty that was working on his car in the bay next to mine. Unfortunately I had to ask the attendant if he could wash my windows for me, normally they just do this for you, and one doesn't have to ask ever. They just basically do services for the car that do not include major maintenance work on one's vehicle. I've been here numerous times, I'd have to say the last time I was here there was only one guy taking care of me, normally they've got to or three people working one car. Doesn't get to busy, it works out to be about $35.00 for a standard oil change here. read more
