I'd be happy to pay $18 for two sliders and half the amount of fries. Fries were good but most likely a premade frozen fry nothing unique. The size of the burger was honestly comparable to the McBurger not the Big Mac (smaller and less meat). Couldn't have been more than 1/4 lb. Very thin. Yes I know it's a smash burger but paper thin and didn't pour out of an already tiny bun. I ordered the heat burger. It came with pepper jack cheese jalapeños and aïoli sauce. I dipped it in ketchup b/c it seemed dry. The 9 year old ordered the classic with added bacon. I'd say add the 3rd patty for $3 to make the meat to bun ratio closer to equal.

The booth was comfortable and spacious, also a short distance to the bathroom! We all decided on drinks and I went with the Sparkly-berry lemon drink. It was refreshing and had a great balance of the lemon and berry. As I scanned over the menu I loved that they offer gluten free options and a great variety of dishes to satisfy almost any palate! I ultimately chose the Chicken Avo club and went with grilled chicken. I was intrigued that it's served on a croissant bun and had a bunch of my favorite foods in it. It's served with bacon, avocado, chicken, Swiss cheese, tomato, napa slaw, honey, mustard, and garlic aioli. it was excellent! Albeit messy, it was well worth it! Served with a side of fries, which is what my heart truly desired, the whole meal looked as if it would been easy to finish each bite. But the portion size was perfect enough that I actually couldn't finish the whole sandwich. The fries were perfectly crisp and quenched my fries thirst. The four of really enjoyed our time here. The beer is clearly the star here, and the menu has plenty of good options to go with it. Everything came out fresh, and our server was attentive throughout the visit. My only note would be that if you are going to a place known for beer, it may be best to stick with what they do best rather than ordering a martini. That one was probably on me! Overall, Lazlo's is a great spot for good food, good beer, and a laid-back Omaha meal. We would definitely go back.

All the classic dishes like the lavosh, the prime rib enchiladas, the voodoo, chicken, etc. are still on the menu. On the whole, our table enjoyed the meals we got. That said there were a couple little notes I have. I've said it before, but the way they plate salads is impractical here. They serve side salads on small glass plates. Of course I appreciate the effort to make it a nice sized salad and fill up the plate, but with no overhang and no depth because it's not a bowl, it makes it really difficult to stir around without making a big mess. They don't serve the salads tossed, so this continues to be an issue for me as a diner. The other thing I noticed is that the building itself definitely needs a little TLC. Everything just looks a bit worn... in particular the walls, the baseboards, places where there's wear and tear, and it just doesn't look as crisp or as modern or updated as it could.

Well, Wahlburgers is much, much better than that, but with prices that are very reasonable. I like to have a server, sit down, and ask questions if I have them, etc. This location is always bustling, maybe a little too much, that it almost feels a little frenetic and anxiety inducing. The food is pretty basic bar food - burgers, salads, and a few others like fish and chips, and the like. The service has been good and the drinks are always nice and fresh and cold. That is where they shine, the beers and drinks. So I'd say if you visit any Blatt, definitely choose an in person one, and don't expect too much from the food, if you are not a fan of bar fare.
