Took for ever to get our orders. nice waiter very poor service from the kitchen or at least that's what he blamed it on when we got the pizza and the wings. This was my first time here and it was so yum! I will say the entrance is definitely tricky compared to where you park. The entrance you have to walk all the way around the building towards the main road to get in. We did have to find someone to seat us. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. We didn't wait long to be fair. I wish I had got our waiters name because he was the nicest and on it when it came to refills and anything we needed. For our appetizer we ordered the chi town trip which came with mozzarella sticks I believe 4 or 5 of them, these super crispy nachos w cheese some sort of Italian sausage with pepperchinis and our third thing we got was Sicilian pepperoni rolls. All of it was amazing but the pepperoni rolls were the freaking best! I am a cheese lover, so it's basically dough rolled up w pizza sauce, ooey gooey and pepperoni. The absolute best! For my main dish I got a personal pizza called the Tuscan chicken with spinach. The pizza had a white cream base instead for traditional red sauce, apple wood spiced chicken that was so tender and full of flavor, sun dried tomatoes but I opted those out, fresh tomatoes, I kept those and omg thank god I did, roasted garlic topped with fresh spinach mixed with a lemon vinaigrette sauce. The whole pizza was the best pizza I've had in a while. The crust was nice and crispy. All the flavors just came together perfectly. Went in to grab some apps on a rainy Friday night. We were able to grab a spot at the bar around 8. We were greeted and served a beer right away. Loved the cold Mexican IPA. Unfortunately they were out of the pretzel bites, which is one of my fave things on the menu. This is the second time this has happened during one of my recent visits. Another time they were out of their signature pepperoni rolls. Thankfully they had those tonight so we weren't as disappointed. However our wings and pep rolls took about 45 mins to come out. It didn't seem that busy, and everyone else around us seemed to be having a similar wait time. I grew up eating at OC with my family so it's a nostalgic place. Despite recent hiccups I'll be back. It's a good spot for large parties or a quick bite. They no longer offer a lunch buffet, FYI. read more

Craving a pizza? Can't go wrong with Old Chicago's. Food is good! No complaints to the cooks or kitchen! I ordered a cocktail, delicious! The bar surpassed my expectations. The servers must get paid really, really well. You can tell they don't work for tips. The service is slow and the servers aren't really attentive. We ordered an appetizer, but it came out with everything else. A few of the servers just stood around chatting with this one table. We submitted a comment directly to the restaurant and management appeared to want to improve their effort and offered us a second chance. I don't think we'll take them up on it. First time here. It's not busy AT ALL. It took about 5 minutes for a hostess to come and seat us. Our waitress was brand new, but did her very best and we have no issues with her service. She was very kind. My drink tasted like straight juice. Husband's cocktail was also meh. The pepperoni rolls were good. The pizza was mediocre. I had the pub pizza and my husband had the thin crust meat pizza. Ordered their cookie dessert. My son got the 9 in and it literally was a cold dry "cookie" that turned to crumbs. They sent it back and literally brought the same one back "warmed up" with one less scoop of ice cream. This is a shame, this place has really gone downhill. We got the double deckeronie but it seemed they either didn't leave it in the oven long enough or they let it sit too long before bringing it out as it was not very hot & there was some unmelted cheese on it. 1 of the employees that sprayed the table off for us splattered the hell outta be with her spray bottle & I got no apology just a laugh. On Sunday night, we chose Old Chicago because they would be open for several more hours. Went inside, stood in the greeting area for over 10 minutes. A waitress came by, definitely saw us, but no "someone will be with you soon", or anything. A bartender was in plain sight and we were in his, and he was just standing around. Came late night, got the two-topping pub pizza off the "late night" menu. Perfect for me, a solo traveler. The bartender, Megan, was INCREDIBLE. Not only was she personable, but she was a delight to order from. As a new guest, I needed some guidance, and she definitely provided it. She went above and beyond too-- when I was unsure between two beers (both of which fell into the $4 late night beer special), instead of just having me guess (as most places do), she brought me the two to taste. I picked the one I wouldn't have initially, so I am especially grateful. The pizza was awesome. If I had gotten here earlier, I would've gotten an extra to-go. I got green bell peppers and spinach. It's been a while since we've been here. We went in last weekend for dinner. The service was great. The food could be better. The Thai Pie was too sweet - meaning way too much sweet chili sauce. The pizza wasn't cut properly and it was a mess to deal with. We asked for a pizza cutter and while our nice server got one for us, she was told by her manager that they had only 3 so they wanted to make sure we gave it back. This was somewhat awkward. They were out of that. Then we decided to order a couple of appetizers one being the pizza rolls... waitress told us that they were out of that as well. So we ended up having a meat pizza on a cauliflower crust. Then we got the pretzel sticks as an appetizer. Of course still hungry... We decided to get dessert about 30 minutes after eating our food. We asked for the pizza cookie... And the waitress let us know that now the kitchen staff was on a hour wait... So we got the cake because the waitress told us she could just cut a piece of that and hand it out. The reason why this is a two star rating is because the waitress was delightful... But everything else in our experience was not that great. I think it would have been appreciative if they gave us some sort of discount for being out of half of their food, beer, and then an hour wait on the kitchen staff... While we there was only maybe 20 people in the whole restaurant. Next morning, I am still paying for it. My stomach is fully upset... So unfortunately, never again. The staff was super helpful and ask what I like, they hooked me up with a beer around the world card to track my beers and earn points while eating and/or drinking. We had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was not very busy as there were only about 5 tables that were full. When the hostess seated us she walked us thru almost the whole restaurant then finally seated us at a booth in the corner right next to a loud group of 5 to 6 people and right under a speaker that was playing really loud music. We couldn't even have a conversation because it was all so loud so we asked to move to a more quiet booth. Once we were moved we ordered our drinks, salad and a pizza. After about 15 minutes a salad was brought to the table and I swear it was prepared the day prior. The lettuce was gross & wilted and the cucumber was dried out and rubbery. It was so sad looking. We were still waiting for the sodas we ordered. She hadn't brought our drinks yet. While the waitress was very sweet she did not seem to be well trained and should not be in charge of more than 1 table as she was certainly not a multitasker. We finally received our drinks and I had to send the salad back as it was in no way even edible. We never received drink refills and when the pizza arrived the crust was way undercooked and doughy. Several years ago my mother-in-law-unit had a medical emergency while we were in the mountains. She was flight-for-lifed to Loveland where we holed up in a hotel while she was treated and stabilized. We went to Old Chicago for a drink and I ordered my usual Canadian Club on the rocks. The rocks were barely wet. When I pointed this out they said it was OCP&T policy to under pour. Not a problem, there are other watering holes in the area. Fast forward to this year. Heading up to cabin we were advised that both routes to Pingree Road were impassible due to flash floods and I presume forest fire debris blocking them. So we took some hotel rooms and ordered pizza from Old Chicago. They said it would be a half hour but it turned out to be a full hour. At this point a 3 and 5 year old were starving back at hotel. Finally my food came, I checked ticket to make sure it had my daughter-units name on it and the amount corresponded to what I had put on charge card, picked up boxes and left for hotel. Daughter-unit opened and informed us that these were not our pizzas, all of them had meat on them so as a vegetarian she couldn't eat them, and they were all spicy so children couldn't either. Daughter-unit called, they said our food was ready, I headed back and retrieved our pizzas. The staff was very gracious. They don't seem to make much provision for pick-up orders, we were as many as five in a very confined area between the bathrooms and the patio entry, had nowhere to sit and were totally unable to socially distance. It seemed like everyone waiting was there past the promised pickup time. I have been going to Old Chicago in Colorado Springs since they opened the original single store (since closed) and have enjoyed a lot of food from there. Inexplicably Old Chicago pizzas do not travel well. I've never had a good experience with a take-away pizza ever, I never order them but friends and relatives do, so I have lots of experience. Every other premium pizza place seems to be able to transport their pizzas successfully, so I do not understand what Old Chicago's problem is. I will not ever darken the doors of the Loveland Old Chicago again but will dine at the other locations. read more

Not a single offer to take our drink order. The service was absolutely non-existent, perfectly pathetic. We asked to speak with a manager on our way out, waited another 5 minutes to no avail. Staying in town for a couple days. Visited another location in the past several times before the unfortunate closing. due to the great past experiences we were excited to visit this location. The bar tender was to busy talking to people at the bar to fill the drink orders for our sweet waitress who eventually had to pour the drinks herself. We sat and watched the same slow service for all the other tables order drinks from the bar. We ordered over favorite go to pizza we ordered at the previous location. When the pizza came out it was half the size of the pan and half the pizza was literally crust. Out of 8 slices there were barely enough topping to cover one whole slice. On top of that the pizza was the worst all 3 of us has ever had. Would recommend skipping this as an option because you will leave angry, hungry, and thirsty. read more
