Craving a pizza? Can't go wrong with Old Chicago's. Food is good! No complaints to the cooks or kitchen! I ordered a cocktail, delicious! The bar surpassed my expectations. The servers must get paid really, really well. You can tell they don't work for tips. The service is slow and the servers aren't really attentive. We ordered an appetizer, but it came out with everything else. A few of the servers just stood around chatting with this one table. Good food, good atmosphere, if you do not like good service I would recommend. If you have expectations when it comes to timely service, I would try somewhere else.

Overall, our food was pretty good, but the once favorite cookies have become absolute garbage. It wasn't even edible. What happened to the wonderful skillet cookies that came out warm and gooey? Definitely disappointed

Happy hour that clearly says dine in only and not bar only.

First time here. It's not busy AT ALL. It took about 5 minutes for a hostess to come and seat us. Our waitress was brand new, but did her very best and we have no issues with her service. She was very kind. My drink tasted like straight juice. Husband's cocktail was also meh. The pepperoni rolls were good. The pizza was mediocre. I had the pub pizza and my husband had the thin crust meat pizza. Ordered their cookie dessert. My son got the 9 in and it literally was a cold dry "cookie" that turned to crumbs. They sent it back and literally brought the same one back "warmed up" with one less scoop of ice cream. The "Happy Hour" menu that is on the table that says dine in only (not bar only) is not honored unless you are at the bar. First and last time coming here.

Menus, sitting at end of bar.

Came late night, got the two-topping pub pizza off the "late night" menu. Perfect for me, a solo traveler. The bartender, Megan, was INCREDIBLE. Not only was she personable, but she was a delight to order from. As a new guest, I needed some guidance, and she definitely provided it. She went above and beyond too-- when I was unsure between two beers (both of which fell into the $4 late night beer special), instead of just having me guess (as most places do), she brought me the two to taste. I picked the one I wouldn't have initially, so I am especially grateful. The pizza was awesome. If I had gotten here earlier, I would've gotten an extra to-go. I got green bell peppers and spinach. Best part? The cheese & crust. Great place. Megan really made my experience. Absolutely amazing. I am a traveler but will suggest Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom to any of my fellow travelers. Cheers to Old Chicago!

Sis and I shared a Mediterranean Panini with chicken and no hummus. They actually brought it on two plates and split the fries. Very beautiful presentation. Unfortunately the fries weren't really warm and were kind of blah. But the sandwich itself was tasty. Two friends each had a margarita pizza, which comes on a cauliflower crust. They should've shared it because both took half home! Again, it was a beautiful presentation. They both said it was very tasty. Sis and I each had some tomato soup and it lacked flavor unfortunately. My wife and I don't eat out very often, so when we do, it's a big deal. This was supposed to be a…read moredate night, a little "I love you" dinner where neither of us had to cook. Instead, I accidentally took her to intermittent fasting with table service. We both ordered bowls. She got the Pineapple Bowl ($21), and I got the Lazy Dog Bowl ($20). When they arrived, we honestly thought maybe the rest of the meal was still coming. Nope. That was the whole production. Each bowl featured what appeared to be half of a chicken breast. Not "about" half. I mean it genuinely looked like one chicken made the ultimate sacrifice so two entrées could exist. Somewhere in the kitchen a chef is holding a ruler saying, "Easy... if anyone gets an extra bite, corporate loses twelve cents." I've had Costco samples with more commitment. The best part was watching my wife try to convince herself she was full because she didn't want to ruin date night. That's when you know you're in trouble. When your spouse starts chewing slower because she's hoping time will create calories. You know how sometimes you get annoyed when the waiter or manager keeps coming by asking how your meal is and if everything is alright? The good news was that Lazy Dog definitely doesn't have this issue: Nobody asked how the food was. Not our server. Not a manager. Not a passing employee. Not even the emotional support dog I assume inspired the restaurant's name. It was almost as if everyone already knew the answer. The only thing that arrived promptly and confidently was the bill. For over $40, I wasn't expecting to leave stuffed, but I was hoping to leave without wondering whether we should split a cheeseburger at the drive-thru on the way home. I've seen airport salads with a stronger sense of abundance. The food wasn't bad. That's almost what makes it worse. It tasted good enough that I wished there had been... more than six bites of it. Lazy Dog, I came hoping to impress my wife. Instead, you gave us a memorable evening, a shared chicken breast, and the strongest argument we've ever had for eating before we go out.

It's awkward that we were still willing to ask for more food or drinks but they kinda kicked us out by not offering further service. While we were waiting for a second waitress to replace the first one, one of the girls accidentally dropped a bunch of dressing on my husband's back and yes, she apologized, but they never took all the papers towels -trash- we used to clean his sweatshirt and even with that embarrassing moment we never got any further service!
