    Beer Battered Fish
    Laura M.

The fish is 5 stars. No tartar sauce needed or even wanted on this beer battered fish. The restaurant leans more towards a dive bar vibe. We were nervous when we went in because of that. The bartender also waits tables. She was nice but yells across the room to check on you. The fish is THAT good, pretty much everything else doesn't matter. I even yelled my answer back. LOL! Actually, the fish made me not care about anything.

This was our 4th visit and the experience has always been positive. There are numerous reviews that complain about the service but our server Rafael, from Switzerland was great and managed the whole dining room himself. The food is always well prepared and reasonably priced. The decor could use a freshening up but times are tough for small businesses and profits keep getting thinner. It most definitely worth a visit when you're in Cocoa Beach

I found this place by looking up fried mushrooms in the area, and I'm glad this is the restaurant we picked. The fried mushrooms were great. They were not like usual fried mushrooms I've had. These were beer battered and bigger, meatier mushrooms. I recommend trying them. I also recommend the mahi mahi sandwich. It was cooked well, and the fish tasted great. I also recommend the crab cake, but not as a sandwich. I got the sandwich, and I would have just preferred the crab cake without the bread. It was just too heavy feeling with the bread. The coleslaw is ok, and the pickle was soggy, but it didn't break the meal for me. The service was great. Our server checked on us plenty of times and was very friendly. Other regulars at the restaurant were also friendly, giving us recommendations. I enjoyed the ambiance, and I recommend this spot for fried mushrooms and seafood options!

    Funny sign

They have a full menu but of course the specialize in seafood. I came and got the "all you can eat " Alaskan pollack" - the fish was made to order- very hot, good batter, came with 2 sides - I chose fries and coleslaw. Fries were a perfect golden brown, coleslaw was great not overly sweet. Raphael, our server was great - checked on us often but not overbearing. The ambiance is very low keyed - oldies music.

We were quickly greeted when we entered and were quickly lead to a table. Our table had the blackened Mahi Mahi with coleslaw and baked potato, the Buffalo Shrimp and a cup of clam chowder. The Mahi Mahi was perfect! The baked potato and Cole slaw were fine. The clam chowder was very good. The flavor of the buffalo shrimp was good, but I recommend removing the tails from the shrimp. They were very difficult to eat. We tried using a fork and knife to remove the tails but ended up leaving too much shrimp in the tail. We finally just picked them up with our hands and ate them. But it was messy! They would have been so much enjoyable if the tails had been removed before frying and dipping in buffalo sauce. The service was perfect. If ever in the area again we will be sure to return.

In fact, I regret ordering my premium crab meal with seasoning. I enjoy spicy food, but this just didn't deliver. The service, unfortunately, was disappointing. It may be due to being understaffed. However, I didn't like having to pay before being served, you have to pay, tip and order on a machine before getting serviced. if I hadn't, I wouldn't have tipped based on the service I received, it really was a 1-star experience. We got served before our drinks. And I never saw the waitress again. I had to flag down another employee who was cleaning tables to get us our paid drinks. One of my premium sides was missing, they were so busy I didn't even bother trying to track it down, I already had to pull teeth getting drinks. so I paid for something I never received. After spending over $250 plus, there wasn't even a simple thank you or thanks for coming at the end. Some customers enthusiastically got it, but we didn't. They saw us leave with no care. Overall, I won't be returning. When people go on vacation, we want to feel good, ya know?

Lucious Maine lobster, graced with yummy drawn butter on a soft, moist, toasted roll that could have been made just for this experience! Oh, had a lettuce bed to make it a healthy green salad, too. Opted for the cup, really almost a bowl, of their delicious New England Clam Chowder, the white, thick and creamy kind loaded with clams! They actually have the Original New England Clam Chowder crackers, too! Oh, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention their Jazzy's original Calamari appetizer, we enjoyed it when we ate there 5-6 years ago with our daughter, and it was still really good, though I remember a larger portion. They have done extensive renovations since then that look marvelous. Courteny was our server and she was great, very attentive and friendly. Instead of serving the sauce on the side, they toss the calamari in it, and wow... that made all the difference. It stayed crispy while soaking up the flavor, and it was easily one of the best calamari appetizers I've ever had. The New England clam chowder was another surprise favorite. It tasted like the perfect cross between traditional clam chowder and loaded baked potato soup. It was rich, creamy, hearty, packed with flavor, and served piping hot. I had to stop myself from ordering another bowl to go. If we lived here, I absolutely would have. We both ordered the Connecticut style lobster roll. It was good, but not my favorite, especially since I've had lobster rolls in Connecticut. The addition of lettuce was unexpected for a Connecticut style roll, and I wasn't a fan of the extra crunch it added. It also didn't come with drawn butter, which I've always considered a staple of this style of sandwich. Instead, it was an additional $0.50. At $33 for the sandwich, I expected the butter to be included. That said, the lobster itself was fresh, and the sandwich was still enjoyable, just not exactly what I was anticipating. Everything arrived fresh and hot. The service was outstanding. Our server, Courtney, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and quick to make sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive. If you're in Cocoa Beach and looking for fresh seafood in a casual, laid back atmosphere, this place is definitely worth a visit. I'll absolutely be back, and next time the calamari and clam chowder are nonnegotiable!

We traveled to the beach from Orlando for a girls' weekend and were excited to eat waterfront, so we decided to give Seafood Atlantic a try. The highlight of our evening? We saw dolphins in the water. So, two stars for the location and a couple of decent menu options, but the service needs a serious overhaul -- or at least that was our experience with the particular server assigned to us. From the time we were seated around 7:30 p.m., our waitress had an attitude. We were perfectly pleasant and explained that we had a couple of questions about the menu. After answering maybe two questions from one member of our party, she rather harshly informed us that she was there to start us with drinks "for the time being." We were taken aback but went ahead and ordered drinks. Despite there only being three of us, she still managed to forget one of the drinks. We also ordered Jell-O shots -- one for each of us -- and had no idea they came in different flavors. She neither told us nor asked for a preference; she simply left a variety on the table for us to coin-flip over. After the drinks arrived, she disappeared for at least 10-15 minutes before returning to take our food order. By then, it was around 7:45 p.m. She informed us that the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes and that our appetizers and entrées would all have to come out together. Given how little we had seen of her up to that point, we were understandably frustrated. We felt rushed and like we weren't being given an opportunity to actually sit and relax, but we agreed. Once the food arrived, one order contained an ingredient we had specifically asked to be left off, and the knives we requested never arrived. But the worst part came when one of my friends discreetly approached our server to pay the check. She wanted to surprise the group by treating everyone and was trying to do so without any fuss. Instead, our server gave her a hard time, saying, "I have another table and am busy right now." Apparently, the hostess had already run my friend's card and given the receipt to our waitress. Our server then came over, slammed the receipt down on the table, and said, "Here! She took care of that for you." It was unbelievable. The abrasiveness and utter lack of customer service were truly the most memorable parts of the evening. And for all that aggression, the food was barely worth it. Were some menu options decent? Yes. Was anything wonderful enough to make us overlook the poor service? Not even close. The fresh catch was nice, the sides were fine, and we all agreed the Gouda mac and cheese was yummy. Otherwise, nothing really stood out. In a very rare move for me, I actually asked to speak with a manager. They did remove the cost of an appetizer and a drink, but the bill was still upwards of $100, and by that point, it really felt like a rip-off. The view alone isn't enough to bring me back. I'll stick with Fishlips next door, which I would recommend as an alternative.

Burger came out over done, with the entire bottom bun completely soaked in juice. It basically fell apart by the end of the meal. I will say the fries were really good but for $45 with a tip FOR ONE PERSON this place is way over priced for what you get. I also thought my service was just okay as well.
