I am a widowed elderly lady living alone in a small trailer home in Simi Valley.I am paralyzed from the neck down so most task I can manage around my house,I have to do by using my teeth.I have no outside help from anyone.My entire family was killed in the Hallocaust.When my beloved St.Bernard past away last year,I'm afraid to say that I was unable to dispose of corpse for several months after her death in my bed.I tried to ignore to horrific smell of her decaying flesh and rotting hair.Soon,I began to notice a major presence of very large and aggressive maggots not only taking over my poor Bella 's body but also trying to take my body over too.The Flys were like birds they were so big.There was thousands.I could no longer even see out of my windows or even here my t.v. on full blast volume or here my phone ring due to the loudness of fly's buzzing.I felt so hopeless and that's when I noticed I had lost my left leg.Finally,in desperation, I called Old Reliable Pest Control for help.Other than the technician running over my mailbox and accidentally poisoning my neighbors cat with Gopher bait,he was a doll.I'm not completely sure how he did it because he says that I have to wait at least a year to go back in my house after his extreme chemical treatment.But he assures me that all of the flys are gone.I think he should be voted employee of the month over there.Your friend and neighbor..Corolann Whertherson. Old Reliable Pest Control is the best. The gentleman wearing one of their shirts stopped by to buy some Snap-On hand tools, and I couldn't help noticing the similarity between their business and one in which I work. Still, what's in a name right? But I got a business card and kept them in mind. Lo and behold, found a use for the service within 2 years, and glad I kept the card. There's a big lawsuit right now with Terminix using weird chemicals, so no thanks. Reliable is a small 'mom & pop' type operation, and I am always a big fan of personalized service. They went above and beyond with assessing my situation, in that they dealt with the problem, solved it, and placed some extra traps to help deter any future recurrence. I don't usually write reviews but Robert with Old Reliable Pest Control deserves a high five!! I called the office at 7:40am after seeing a Rat chewing thru my drywall..... Freaked out to say the least. The lady who answered the phone was so sweet and had Robert call me immediately. Within 2 1/2 hours he was at my house - Inspected the inside & outside of my home, evaluated the problem in multiple areas and even completed the job....same day! Which is what I needed and wanted!! My family and I are having a big problem with rats.I called Old Reliable Pest Control. I explained our situation To Sammy and she got my information and had the pest tech out to our house within 2 hours.Robert arrived and he was very polite and very detailed Robert took the time to explain what he was doing and how we could make changes to avoid future problems.This is a very Good company and what impressed me most about this company is they have a heart and care about their work and their customers. Had an issue with a squirrel in our attic. Called a few companies as it was past 930pm. Found a place in OC that drove out as this thing was eating away in the attic. The sounds were amazing all day until around 10PM. The guy came out and ripped us off with his baby powder/chile mixture. Next day squirrel still there. They sent Robert over. Without getting into details he wet two tennis balls in racoon urine. Threw them in the attic where we heard the noise. Over 2 months now and nothing...thank GOD. Yes they did quote $75.00 but they asked for more, about 160 I believe I paid...I still would use them again. read more

I bought the 100 for 75 deal. They called me the same day to set up appointment, then my technician came out that very same day and sprayed for all bugs inside and out. He did a very thorough job, not missing any crevice around all the baseboards and the outside of my house. I am very pleased with the price, this is a true value since I was quoted almost double at a couple other places for the initial service. Robert came to the house today to spray for pests both inside and outside the house, we are on a monthly contract. He's friendly, thorough and answers any questions you may have. He's considerate of our dogs and explains how the chrysanthemum based spray is non-toxic for them. Not only is he great at his job, he served our country as a Marine and I can never say thank you enough for that! I am happy he is employed doing something he seems to enjoy! THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!! The guy Robert in the field went to the property two times which he was not allowed on. He did not listen to my instructions and got the escrow service number for a bill which I did not inform him to do!!!!! I am so disappointed with the idiots that are running this company. My experience was excellent! I was so surprised to get a same day appointment. The lady that helped me on the phone (sorry I can't remember her name) was super helpful and informative. She made sure to tell me all their specials and prices for follow up visits. Plus there was a discount for paying cash and leaving a Yelp review. I don't know why the person in Tarzana gave this company (1) star. They went fine for us (Gopher-wise.) They charge only $39.00 a visit. It usually takes two visits to totally eradicate. The man who came out was extremely nice and very outgoing. It took about 15 minutes to complete our job - poisoning 5 mounds today. read more
