Okay, so I love coming here. This place is famous for their Mai Tais. What i love about this place is that everyone that comes here are here for a great time. You definitely can feel the good vibes. The waiters are very friendly. The drinks can be a little strong but they're delicious. Side note: they let you take the cup home :)

What can you say about a Staple in Redondo Beach that the whole family loves. You know it's a cozy spot, Low lights, infinity walls before it was a thing. Close to the site so we hit the Pier and had a cool evening! Seafood on point we had some Steamed clams but ate them prior to the photo. The broth on that is amazing! Our waiter was super cool and his table attendant was always there each time something was empty. Didn't even have to ask. The service is amazing

Came to have some drinks after dinner, this place is so cool, the vintage vibe over looking the water, we were taken care of by an amazing bartender named George knew exactly what I needed! I'm very indecisive especially with drinks, he was kind friendly and patient, love this place.

    Great view, open windows.

Old Tony's has such a great, laid-back vibe. The views are beautiful, the drinks are delicious, and listening to the waves while you eat makes it the perfect place to unwind. The food was really good, and the whole place has that classic old-school charm without feeling stuffy or pretentious. It's just a comfortable, welcoming spot to relax, enjoy a meal, and take in the ocean. We'll definitely be back for a date night!

Came for seafood. Would return for steak. Shrimp. Fat. Bread and Butter. Satisfying. Almost canceled rest of order. The chowder and I were both disappointed in each other. Minestrone wins by default. Server Connor. 10/10.

It's old! Old Tony's is old.! OK! Not old, Maybe iconic? Maybe weathered? Maybe? Maybe? Maybe? One thing is for sure! You will get old fashioned pours. If you are a whiskey or vodka drinker you will know what I mean. You will bet a fantastic view of the Pacific Ocean looking westward You will get a great view of Redondo Beach and the Redondo Beach Pier. Prices of the beverages follow the current market. Nothing too cheap or nothing to expensive- just normal. Minimum seats; Maybe 24 maximum so know that before getting up to their entrance. You will need to careful when going up and down to get in or out of Old Tony's . Don't say I didn't warn you!

Incredible stuffed shrimp coming home with me!

A bit disappointing. Wife was wanting crab. Was on their 'market price' board but we were told they haven't had crab in months. Shortage? I got my studded shrimp. Delish. She got the sea bass. Was just ok. Not a fan of the clam chowder. Salad was really good with their house dressing. Will be back but will call to be sure they have crab. Great service.

A South Bay favorite restaurant! The food is always fresh, the service is always hospitable and timely, the ocean is the best ambiance ever! Today we shared clam chowder in a sourdough bowl. Perfect when visiting or bringing visitors from out of town. I can't say enough about Old Tony's - highly recommend!

Franky made our day-drinking-with-a-gorgeous-view lunch a hit! We both had the beef sliders which seriously tasted like we were at a summertime barbecue! YUM!! The fries were tasty and our drinks were strong and tasty. Franky kept an eye on us and provided great service as we laughed and had a great time. Over all a lovely lunch with a good friend, good friend and a great view up top.

I would say come here for the vibes, views, and nostalgia. The food is ok, but pretty overpriced for what it is. I got the coconut shrimp lunch combo, which came with clam chowder and a side. The clam chowder was pretty good. I appreciated that the table bread came with whipped butter. The coconut shrimps were fine but I made the mistake of getting "veggies" as my side. It was steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots, but the kind that you get from a steamed bag from the frozen grocery aisle.. I'll stick with fries next time. The combo was $24, was one of the more affordable things on the menu. I got a window seat though, which opened right out to the water, so it was worth it to just hear the waves and enjoy the atmosphere during lunch. The servers were nice and attentive. I'd go again, maybe for sunset, and just expect to pay beach prices for average food.

Had a brief, wonderful time there! I say brief because we only stopped by for a drink. The views were incredible and the service was fast. I would definitely want to go back for dinner.

Great views. I enjoy the ambience.. you had a pleasant time here. You should definitely check it out..

Outside of Hawaii, this is the best Mai Tai I have ever had! The crushed ice makes it like an adult snowcone-esq.

The night we went, they had the regular Dole Whip frozen drink and ube as the rotating flavor. Both were dope! It's only a few bucks more to add a rum floater, but I stopped doing that. The drink tastes so good I finish it in minutes, and I prefer not to get hammered on a Wednesday night. No kitchen is the only real downside. People bring food in or DoorDash it, which works. Parking can be tough sometimes because of the other businesses around the plaza. It can get cold in there from the A/C, so bring a sweatshirt or jacket. When I want a frozen drink in the South Bay, I know where to go!

It's literally walking distance from our hotel in Torrance -- so close we actually walked past it the first time without even realizing it was there. Super hidden, easy to miss. The space itself is small, and when you first walk in it doesn't hit you with an over-the-top tiki vibe right away. But once the drinks start coming out, it fully delivers. The glassware is so fun and themed -- I was obsessed with the flamingo cup and actually ended up buying a couple online since I couldn't take the real one home with me. Drink-wise, I stuck mostly to my usual zombie, which has this great earthy, cinnamon-y flavor that's just different from anything else -- does the trick every time (there's a two-drink max/minimum on it, which I respect). We also tried a Makahiki Mua and a Painkiller, both really solid. The Makahiki Mua had a fun flavor, kind of similar to a Painkiller, but the zombie is still my go-to. Service was pretty good overall -- the bartender stayed mostly in one corner of the bar, which actually worked in our favor since we got served fast. A couple of small quirks though: they only have a limited number of menus, so we kept having to pass one back and forth around the bar, which felt a little silly. They also seemed to be running low on drink cups at times, having to wash and rotate them back into use, which was an odd thing to notice at a bar this size. Also wish they had some food or snacks available, even something small -- but that's a minor gripe. Vibe-wise, this is easily one of my favorite tiki lounges I've been to -- doesn't quite topple Broken Compass Tiki for me, but it's up there. Fun, easy, great drinks, solid service despite the small hiccups, and a perfect spot if you're staying in the Torrance area. Would absolutely go back and would recommend it to anyone chasing that tiki lounge crawl.

You can tell the chefs are dedicated to the craft. They're a 2025 bib gourmand restaurant and are hoping to aim for their first star, so their efforts into the decor, ambiance, and food shows (good luck!). The waitstaff/chefs were also very attentive. Mussels Tart - really delicious. Super unique and beautifully plated. No taste of fishiness or the ocean. Just overall a 5/5 dish that you must try. Beef tongue - I normally enjoy beef tongue thinly sliced at a Korean BBQ restaurant or coarsely chopped up in a street taco. They do it differently here. The beef tongue is one big cube. It's very flavorful and tender. Not as amazing as the mussels tart but still worth a try. Chili crab - this put them on the map. SUPER DELICIOUS. It's not what you'd expect from a creation called 'chili crab'. There's no shell to be seen and the crab meat is actually buried underneath. Scoop from the inside out. Tons of flavor and I wished the portion size was doubled. Lamb pappardelle - if you like lamb then you'll love this. Lots of different spices and flavors. It has a very deep flavor profile that makes you appreciate all the work and thought that went into designing this dish. I'd get this again also! Strawberry tiramisu - they brought this out for the birthday celebration. They prepared it in a gigantic bowl. Scooped out a generous portion and plated it right in front of us. I have a soft spot for tiramisu so I'd recommend this too. Best of luck on the Michelin star! I'd come back. 5/5

Overall, I'd say the servers/chefs are…read moreincredibly nice and friendly and they spend a lot of time explaining the concept of each dish. The restaurant is very quaint located in a trendy and busy area of Hermosa Beach. Parking is scarce, even the lot a few blocks away is packed. Some of the dishes had nice flavor but since the place is chef-run, timeliness was an issue. It takes about 45 minutes per course because I'm sure there's a lot of pride invested in each dish. Since the portions are so tiny, you have a lot of time to talk. We started with the mussel tart. This was very tasty with smoked clam and fennel cream. The pastry coating was light but chewy. I would say the presentation was appealing but it reminded me of a Star Wars fighter jet. I was looking forward to the fish dish since we were hungry. Kinilaw is a local fish I wasn't familiar with. It was served with sweet potato and cucumber with coconut flavor. It was a tad underwhelming mostly because we were wondering where the fish was (see photo). The salad had nice flavor but I was not fond of the presentation. Either the plate was too big or this was a "half salad" concept. They are well known for the chili crab and it was delicious. However, this was another case of "where's Waldo" when trying to share the Santa Barbara rock crab meat. The porchetta felt like a heartier hot main dish. Very crispy skin and tender meat. Again dividing by four a bit challenging. Our server recommended it and it was a good suggestion. The broccoli purée and black eye peas were a unique accompaniment. The lamb pappardelle was an essential hot dish. The sausage was lamb and cumin with kale sprinkled on top. This dish was delicious and would be very shareable for two. The dessert was banana-themed. Our server was so pleasant and served it with a smile on an oversized plate. The place and staff are quite nice. The dishes, for the most part, are flavorful. Just be sure to have a few hours for dinner and don't expect to be too full.
