The Latin Lover scramble not omelette
    Justin M.

This little restaurant has a nice selection of breakfast fair. I had the Latin lover. I requested the regular hollandaise sauce not the spicy so it wasn't so spicy. Overall, it's been a great experience weight. Staff has been great in the coffee has been refilled. If you stay at the hotel next-door, you can get a small discount and or if you book direct, you can get a breakfast voucher. I believe there's a normal cost for the breakfast voucher. The ambience is nice is a cute little café located off the main street of old town.

Nice little sidewalk cafe in the middle of Old Town Camarillo! Nothing super special, but great for a relaxed brunch. Small seating area and very friendly service. The eggs were a bit spongy and overcooked, but my wife's oatmeal was very good. Would return

If you haven't eaten here, you have missed a treat. If you stay in the adjacent hotel, a limited breakfast can be purchased as part of the room and it is well worth the small additional cost. If you pop in for a meal, you will find that the food is incredible. From the specials to the regular menu, everything I have had on the menu is great. The lattes are delicious, the mimosas are great! The waffles and omelets, and Benedicts are all great! The service is excellent! It is a small place and often has a line at busy times. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Give this a try! You'll be glad you did!

    The Lumberjack, Mocha, Kids Pancakes
    Justin L.

Stopped by on a late Sunday morning for breakfast with my family and poodle. About a 15 minute wait since we had to sit outside, but as soon as we were sat we were greeted immediately by our server Marc. Marc was quick to get our 4 year olds food rung in while the adults browsed the menu. He was very kind and brought our dog a full water bowl. He gave us some excellent breakfast recommendations to share. We shared two lumberjack breakfasts which were HOT, tasty, and filling! Also shared a Mocha which was nice and hot and not too sweet (talking to you Starbucks) Overall a pleasant breakfast experience, highlighted by Marc's attentive and kind service! We will be back soon!

I love avocado toast and the one in this place is beyond delicious! And the coffee is very taste as well. Great customer service and clean environment. I highly recommend Old Town Cafe.

Great spot in downtown. It's a bit small so you may have to wait. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great, highly recommend the hash!

They had plenty to choose from. I got the "Roxy's" Chicken & Waffles: it came with fried chicken tenderloins, served on top of a buttermilk waffle, with honey, bacon, and one sunny side egg. The chicken was so flavorful. It was well season and cooked right. It was crunchy and flaky. It wasn't oily either. That was a huge plus. I also had a bite of the Huevos Rancheros: it came with two fried eggs, two corn tortillas, mashed black beans, pepper jack cheese, grill jalapeño and your choice of salsa served with breakfast potatoes and we added the Carne Asada for five dollars. I also tasted the Avocado Toast: it was serve with guacamole spread sprinkled with red flakes, extra olive oil, cherry tomatoes, arcadian mix, and balsamic glazed drizzle. It was so delicious . I figured we would get something that I could tolerate and it would be okay - generic dining. I did not expect to actually have something to write about. But I was wrong. The grilled chicken they serve with the Chaufa is very nicely seasoned. It is bits of breast meat, grilled with a little char and adds depth to the otherwise mild flavor of the rice dish. My husband had Chaufa with shrimp, which I didn't sample but he ate the entire meal without complaint. We ordered the pork belly bites to start. They were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I enjoyed this appetizer so much that I know I will order it again. If I have the chaufa again, I would definitely have it with the pork belly. I ordered the lemonade and was puckering in a good way. Honestly, it tasted more like limeade than lemon. I was happy it wasn't too sweet because I could really enjoy the refreshing citrus flavors. I would go there just for a lemonade. They serve it icy cold in mug style, mason jar glass. Our friend ordered the iced tea and when it arrived. I was pleasantly surprised by the look of the fresh fruit in the clear glass, frosted over from the cold and ice. So nice. He said the herbs and fruit were a good combination. The wife of the owner waited on us. She is understated, friendly and efficient. We didn't have much of a wait as it looked as though we might have just missed the breakfast/brunch rush. I was impressed with how quickly we received our food. If we hadn't just eaten there a couple days ago, I would have gone to Azafran for dinner tonight. I look forward to making it a favorite local place where I can introduce our visitors to a good neighborhood restaurant.

In my culture, the first meal of the New Year sets the tone for the year - as in a fulfilling, enjoyable meal means you will have a fulfilling, enjoyable year. I'd like to thank Country Harvest for setting that tone for me with an absolutely delicious breakfast, the charming atmosphere, and the delightful staff - including Gloria, the manager. Everyone there was efficient and I enjoyed hearing one of the employees singing while he worked. Country Harvest not only provided generous portions (I had a hard time eating it all!) and a variety of teas to select from, but the food was cooked to perfection, and the service was top drawer and fast. On top of all that, they gave me a senior discount, which was much appreciated. I had just left Denny's where I had paid for a tea I didn't even get to enjoy, due to being ignored after waiting about 30 minutes for someone to take my order - after they were taking orders for those seated after me and made me aware they knew I was still waiting - but still did not take my order. Then one of the Denny's employees was actually smug about it, saying when I went to the register to pay for the tea, "Hey...it happens sometimes," while grinning as if it was funny. It remains a mystery if he ignored me because I am a senior, I was not of a background he liked, or he didn't think my one meal would give him enough of a tip, but he was unprofessional and he made sure I won't ever return to Denny's. I do thank him, though, because if he hadn't been such a jerk, I wouldn't have gotten frustrated enough to leave and try to find a place where I could have that good first meal of the New Year - at Country Harvest. His rudeness led me to finding Country Harvest and I am not at all surprised that your restaurant was busy on New Year's Day and Denny's wasn't. Now that I know you're the place to go, you've won my business going forward and I will happily recommend you to others. Thank you so much for truly making my day! As for Denny's losing a customer, "Hey...it happens sometimes."
