We arrived just after noon on a Friday (June 12, 2026) First walking in, we were greeted with that smoky campfire smell that lets you know that this place is serving the real deal! As we waited in line, a staff member came out and offered us free Ham samples to try and it was melt in your mouth delicious! We went up to place our order and the clerk was friendly and helpful. They take your name and have a seat at your booth. While waiting we loved the patriotic decor and the smokehouse atmosphere. Once they called my name I went up to collect my order and they checked with me to make sure everything was correct and were super friendly. The food was spot on real BBQ! Not some reheated dried out, no smoke jerky. The pulled pork was fresh, moist and tasted perfect. The Smoked Cheeseburger was right on point. It tasted just like the ones I smoke myself. Plus they have delicious sauces to try as well. My fav was the Texas Twang, but it was a close tie to the Blue Ridge Smoky Mountain. The fries are fresh and taste great, and the smoked mac and cheese was awesome! While we were eating, Crystal came by and offered some Freedom Fries but unfortunately we had to tell her we were stuffed. A few minutes later she came back and gave us a full size chocolate brownie to go, along with a return visit card that gets you free items each time you come back (free side, free sandwich, free meat market). Fantastic service from start to finish! We felt so welcomed from the minute we walked in all the way to being told thanks for coming in as we walked out. This was a excellent dining experience, expecially for a place that is just a walk in, faster food, BBQ spot. I honestly can't remember when I felt I had such a good value for the money, and better service anywhere. This is the only Mission BBQ we have ever visited at this time but I sure hope they all have such an incredible staff, because while the food was fantastic, the service was top level and should be commended.

The brisket and baby back ribs were disappointing. The meat tasted dry, old, and had very little flavor. I expected a lot more from the barbecue based on the look and vibe of the place. The Atmosphere: The restaurant itself looks really nice and has a good setup. However, I would definitely avoid sitting outside in the back area because the flies and little bugs will attack your food while you are trying to eat. The Experience: The service was good overall.
