Classic low priced diner fare. I couldn't give 5 stars because everything seemed like it came from the freezer. Chicken fry is same chicken fry as anyone else that pulls it from freezer and fries it. Dont get me wrong price reflects it and i was glad for a quick cheap meal. The food tasted good, the okra was crispy and delicious. The atmosphere was the good ol folk gathering at the watering hole. I'm giving Olde Orchard four stars because for what it is, it's pretty solid. Here's what it ISN'T: gourmet, trendy, hip, vegan, 45-minute-wait-fancy. What it IS though, is a basic old school down home restaurant. The food isn't epic but it also doesn't suck. If you have memories of small town life, old guys in overalls and smiley grandma ladies living slow and easy, solving the world's problems over a bottomless cup of percolator Folger's, this place will certainly refresh them. If you like hash browns that are thrown on the grill for about 3 minutes and served, you will love old orchard. They absolutely suck. Seriously, go to neighborhood jam (which is coming ro yukon btw and compare) these are like bag hashbrowns thrown on the grill for half the recommended cooking time and served to the public. Not sure how they get away with serving sub par food. Lots of processed crap. Like butter where the first ingredient is vegetable oil...you know the place. I live in yukon and am sad we just accept this with no complaints. We deserve better. I think if you love gravy and biscuits or pancakes, you are good, but the coffee is average, the other items on the menu are ok....even the home fries...the other potato option are hit and miss. Which makes me think, why even keep serving hash browns if you are just going to make them awful? My wife put a creamer in her coffee today and the cream came out solid. It's as if pride has completely gone out the window here. Dusty ceiling fans, etc. It just kind of makes you wonder what is happening in the kitchen? How can we serve the cheapest, unhealthiest crap and continue to have the community show up in droves? Yukon needs better restaraunts. My wife tried to get me to drive 15 extra minutes to a better restaraunt this morning. I should have listened. I thought let's go local and help our community. But when the local restaraunts are serving this level of awful, I will listen to her next time. Take my advice. Or maybe you are cool with this or just want sugar or gravy for breakfast. We came across this gem by accident while on a break from kid's tennis. It is clearly a local favorite spot! We ordered generic breakfast (eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, toast, hash browns) and enjoyed it. The food came out quick and hot. Staff was friendly and accommodating when we had to rush out! The food was good. It was busy when we went which was fine. My only complaint is the shared booths. My family went this morning to celebrate my birthday and we had to sit next to a very unfriendly and rude family. They weren't too keen of my toddler which made the experience very uncomfortable. Had breakfast there with my mom this morning. Their omelettes are worth any drive. I ordered a sausage and cheese (American and a lot of it) omelette, home fries (the best) and you have to get a biscuit and gravy. The biscuit melts in your mouth and the gravy is so good it doesn't even need salt. We also ordered a side of bacon. The bacon is thick and crispy. (Their BLTs are yum) My mom ordered the same sides but a Denver omelette (her favorite) . I have also have had their hash browns and toast and just as yummy. Their lunch menu also has several options. My mom swears by their club and she is not wrong! It is pretty amazing. I have had several sandwiches and their cheese burger and have never had anything bad. Their tea is so good, I always ask for a to go one. I didn't get a picture of our breakfasts but I promise if you want local and family owed, you need to come here. The young man busing and getting drinks this morning was very polite. My husband and I went to Olde Orchard Restaurant for lunch today, every table full, absolutely packed. Shortly after being seated and ordering coffee, the owner, Amy Franklin, came to our table, bent at the waist, put her face very close to mine and started aggressively yelling at me. Kept asking me what I said to the hostess and if I had told her to "shut up". The tables around us started getting quiet from the scene she was causing. My husband and I were speechless at first just trying to process this surreal experience and she just got louder and more aggressive. Finally my husband told her we had only ordered coffee and she finally left and went back to cooking. We decided we'd let it go if they'd comp the bill at least but she did not. When we paid the poor guy at the register apologized for her. What a disturbing, surreal nightmare of an experience. The owner is an unprofessional lunatic. Save your money and try a different diner. read more

Our food was delivered to our table within ten minutes of ordering and we were in and out within 40 total minutes, another plus considering I had a five year old with me. Delicious, country style diner that serves breakfast all day. They also have all-you-can-eat catfish for $10.99 that is great. It's big chunks of fish in a really crispy cornmeal batter. My husband likes their fried chicken dinner. The meat is always good quality and it's served extra crispy. The location and the restaurant itself are nothing fancy, but the food and prices make it a place worth going back to. read more
