This place gets a 5 star because the food was absolutely delicious. This is my first time coming here, and the chef or chefs showed OWT! I ordered the cornbread and stuff salmon with asparagus and mash potatoes. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly! I even danced in my seat. I tend to dance when I eat good food. I personally wouldn't go back to this restaurant. I went here to see a friend and it just wasn't what I expected. It's definitely more of an old feel; it's not modern in anyway. The only food that I tried was there cornbread and that was pretty good. it's a really good size that you get and it's really sweet. They add sugar to the top and the butter is really nice with it. The drinks were also good. The reason that I wouldn't go back was because I felt that the staff were really unprofessional. One of the managers ended up arguing with patrons over an item on the bill due to a Groupon misunderstanding. Police were called because of it. It was just a lot going on for me. Their prices are also really high to me. For chicken tenders I believe it was like $16 or $18. It's just not a place that I would choose to visit again. read more

Received a friendly greeting, super fast and very accommodating service by a Missy who I don't want to call just a waitress because she was doing the job of like six people. They have the saxophone / jazz musician back for Sunday brunch!!! He starts at 11am. We did not need to make a reservation we arrived when they opened around 10 am. The food came out at a decent time, everything made fresh, and all food comes out in to go containers. The pricing is extremely affordable. A few of us ate at OTI (Old Towne Inn) in Upper Marlboro, yesterday for dinner. I brought my leftovers home to eat for lunch today. I found a metal piece in my food. I called OTI back to tell them what happened and find out what the metal piece could be but I was put on hold for 1hr 37minutes then disconnected. If you order the mussels, please check them before indulging. My order had 4 dead mussels and two cracked so I didn't know if the two were also dead before cooking so I wasn't able to eat six of them. I told the server to let the chef know but no response. The decent thing would have been to take something off the bill or offer free dessert or something but nothing. I try to support minority-owned businesses but it's this type of service that turns people away. Sadly, I won't be patronizing again. read more

Nice quaint location. Went to celebrate a friend's birthday and was pleasantly surprised. There was a band and they were pretty good. Other patrons seemed to enjoy them too. The staff was friendly. I'm a foodie and found the food to be "OK", not the strong point, bar food. All in all, I would definitely return. read more

Decided to try this establishment after seeing a referral online as a good place to enjoy breakfast. Definitely a neighborhood bar feel. Very small. Came on Sunday afternoon and grabbed one of the few remaining seats at the bar to eat and watch a game. Sat for a while before being greeted. Eventually ordered my entree, drink and water. Another bartender checked on me because I didn't have anything in front of me for a while. My drink eventually came. No water was provided. My food came and was lukewarm. My server, Melissa, asked me if I was okay once and I asked for water again. She just walked away while I was talking. I finished my food and was never provided any water. I feel like this is the kind of place that only cares for their regulars. Everyone else is left out to dry. I usually stick around and grab another drink on Sundays to enjoy the games, but I asked for my check immediately as I felt I was not welcomed and went elsewhere. Will not be returning. read more

Looks are very deceiving with this place but the ambiance is great. Came on a night when there was a comedy show which was a bonus. The food was well seasoned and piping hot. I ordered the seafood fettuccine. The noodles were ever so slightly over cooked but still didn't ruin the dish. Now the customer service when we first walked in left a little something to be desired. So my experience at Olde Towne Inn was pretty awesome!! My guy and I went in on a Saturday evening for a bite to eat while we waited for my child at an event with her friends! First thing I noticed was the ambiance!! For a bar, this place was very laid back! R&B music was playing as soon as wen entered and sports were on all the TVs!! I personally love sports so this was a win for me: boxing and football were on!! We were greeted by a very nice young lady named Carmen and we sat in a booth near the back of the restaurant! There was a nice group of people already dining! After being seated we read over the menu, I chose the catfish and French fries and the guy chose the wings and the olde towne in shrimp! This by far was some of the best catfish I have ever had! It was seasoned to perfection and was nice and crispy!! Soo delicious! My guy had the wings of which I tried and they were very well seasoned and not over cooked! Very good! I did not try tbt shrimp, he was all over them so I know they were very good! Home fried potatoes, cheese grits and fried fish were the highlight choices. Fresh fruit was provided and well presented. This is my GO TO spot for dinner. It's almost 30 mins from my house but I travel for quality. My meals are likely the salmon with the pecans , mashed potatoes and string beans. Or the steak with the same sides. I tried the seafood fettuccine... and let me tell you... I would leave my husband and marry the chef! Lol. It was phenomenal. I went back three times and each time it was Amazing. I'm so big on flavor in my Alfredo sauce. The chef did what needed to be done. Food was good. Ordered fish and chips. It was a catfish filet, coleslaw and fries. Service was good. Bartender waited our table. Loved the vibe of the place. TVs to watch the games and a DJ. The reason for 3 stars and why I may not go back is a pet peeve of mine. The gratuity for 20% was already included in the bill even though they listed several lower tip amount percentages and called them suggested tip amounts. I always tip at least 20% for decent service so the amount is not an issue. I just find this practice questionable and wonder if this done to all patrons or a certain type of patron. read more

I stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday. Oddly the front door was locked and there was a sign to enter from the side door. I enjoy the food here and I had a Groupon to use that was expiring. We both ordered seafood dinners. I started my meal with the catfish appetizer. I ordered salmon, broccoli, and mashed potatoes. I enjoyed everything. My companion ordered blackened salmon, sautéed spinach, and mashed potatoes. He said the fish didn't taste like it was seasoned. It seems like it was just cover in a sauce. He had a Cadillac Margarita and I order the Main Street Envision drink. Both drinks were really good. Forgot to take pics of the drinks. The horrifying part of this cost was the bill for $97. Unless each of our drinks cost about $17 each, there is no way the bill should have been that expensive. Mind you there are no prices next to the drinks on the menu. Side eye. The Groupon took $30 off the ridiculous check. I've eaten here in a party of 2 people and ordered a similar meal and it was never ever $97. Food-great, service-okay, bill-terrible! read more

The corn bread was perfect, the butter was delectable, my fried seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection, and the cocktails were both reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. Everything was made fresh in-house as well, so we had to wait a little long for our meals, but it was more than worth the wait for the quality. This continues to be a pleasant experience when I am in the Upper Marlboro area. It has some of the best tasting balsamic vinaigrette. It's homemade. Both our salads were tasty and fresh. I had the seafood pasta which was too salty for me; however my husband loved his chicken and rib combo. It was certainly a big serving. Our waitress was sweet and engaging. Came later Sunday night for pickup. We places our order prior to arriving. When we arrive there is the usual slow service and confusion about orders placed. Clue number 1 about the service. We had already placed our orders and were waiting for them. We notice that our food is slow and the waitservice is not clear about where our orders are. Just some BS about another customer had an order similar to ours. That they "must have" taken it accidentally. Yet, while waiting still, no other order similarly came up. They just didn't take our order and didn't bother to admit it. We finally got our food and as I knew it was underwhelming. If a restaurant acts like they don't know, what, where, why they never got your order. Go somewhere else. It won't ever be right that night if you stay.
