I just got kicked out of here-literally. No, I was not inappropriate. It was closing time-fair enough. But then, as multiple people both filtered out and lingered, one of our friends had to use the restroom. As we waited, the three incredibly vocally shrill waitresses yelled at us to get out. We (politely) tried to explain we were waiting for our friends. They said "Um, you can wait outside" at a fairly loud vocal register. We tried to argue that, you know, a snow storm was ensuing and it's 14 degrees but they basically said so the eff what. While we hovered under the awning while keeping the door open, our friend from the restroom reappeared. The waitstaff proudly proclaimed to our friend that they kicked us out even though we tried to wait-while they seemed like they were in a meth induced rage. (Their skin makes me believe I'm not being sarcastic). Look, if you want to go to a bar for three hours to be kicked out into a snow storm because they want to close out and can't wait two seconds while a friend pees while they clean their glasses, go here. If you want to debate the theory of relativity in terms of attractiveness in terms of waitstaff (read: everyone is mega ugly), go here. If you want to get kicked out into a snow storm by pregnant bar tenders (classy place... I know) while politely waiting for your friends (again after 3 hours of patronizing a place), go here! Otherwise, go elsewhere. The service also sucked. AFTER the place calmed down the methy waitresses never came back to our table and we had to go to the bar. Who is the management that hired these girls? Clearly they have no judgement. We're regulars and used to love this bar and the food (hence two stars over one) and they proudly had a power trip while we politely (attempted) to wait at a booth for our friend to use the effing bathroom. Guess the pregnant ones don't believe their kids will ever go to college either, hence they don't believe in repeat customers/tips. Calling the manager tomorrow. It's one thing to go to a low rent place (this isn't the place to be "seen" or be glamorous as much as it's a cheap place for PBRs). It's another to have trailer trash have a power trip after you supported pregnant "ladies" working in a trashy bar. read more

So, we cruised in here for Beer Club on a Thursday night. It was a beautiful day outside, but very dark inside the bar. I snagged a booth and waited for the rest of the crew to arrive. We had a larger group than I thought we would, but our server was totally cool with us adding a bar table & stools to our booth. Our server was hilarious. She was giving us all a hard time, but kept the pitchers full and our food did not linger on the warmer. In fact, the bartender would come by occasionally to check on us as well. We were well taken care of. And, our server was right on top of the separate checks, even for a group as large as ours, nice! The food & drinks here are really inexpensive. I wanna say the pitchers were ~$10 a piece for Breckenridge Brown and my steak sandwich & fries were quite good. Although, I have to say, I personally have issues with any place that serves Kraft ranch. It's, basically, the worst ranch EVER! Seriously, pay the extra buck and spring for Hidden Valley. Minus one star for you! Thursday night is Geeks Who Drink trivia night at 8pm. So, we split our table into two teams and played. It made for some fantastic rivalry! Good times. Overall, this is a cool little spot. I will most definitely be back. But, I'd recommend it on a rainy/snowy day. Beyond a dive.....by the time I showed up, most of my coworkers were already a couple drinks in and several had already eaten. The only positive to my experience were 2 things, the service, and the draft beer list. Service from the bartenders was friendly and prompt, and the draft list was pretty good as well (I think I counted ~10 craft offerings). Food though, as my coworkers warned, was pretty terrible. Seriously I could've whipped up better in my kitchen in the same amount of time. I had the chicken club with a side salad and neither was worth a damn. On top of that the initial fork I unwrapped was disgusting and caked with old stains/food. Bartender apologized and quickly brought out a replacement. At the end of the day, the food alone prevents me from coming back to EAT. Bar itself would be fine though I guess. read more

Came here with my parents & brother who's in town from the military. The service was really great, bartenders were super kind! Only thing that really put a sour taste in our mouth was some worker - not sure if he was a busser or barback? But he came out to our table and said he "saw smoke around us" we've been sitting on the patio for over an hour, and literally none of us smoke. Like I'm literally sitting with my parents.. - do we look like we smoke? I told the guy none of us smoke and there's been plenty of drunk people who have walked by with cigarettes so it could have been anyone. He goes "mmmm no I saw it right here". Yeah no you actually didn't, seemed like he was just discriminating against us and wanted to find a reason for us to leave. The BEST part is as we were actually leaving- this same worker saw some of his buddies passing by, and they were hitting their vape and he didn't say anything! I go here with my kickball league on Thursday for celebratory drinks... win or lose - we have only won - so far! The food at this place has not gotten a single complaint from us. It is cheap, quick, tasty and satisfying! I would definitely recommend the wings. They are large, 10 minimum at 75 cents a piece. A bit pricey, but when you see the size of these things you will be okay with paying the premium. Just smelling the wings from afar makes my mouth water. If you don't want to get too messy - you can opt for the buffalo chicken sandwich. The chicken has the same flavoring as the wings, and it will definitely feed you to the brim. The burgers are also okay - if you want to stick to the basics. Comes with crispy lettuce, tomato and onions plus a side of fries which you can substitute. The drinks are cheap and stiff. Pitchers are the way to go, if you are into beer. They have daily drink specials, too. In summation, this place is a hidden gem on the strip. A non-pretentious dive bar with decent clientele, good food, cheap drinks and a friendly staff. read more

im a casual visitor that hasn't been here for 8 months but the wings which i like went way up in price with a 10 piece minimum for 15 bucks. not worth that. So i had green chili and it was you're standard bucket crap that is in weak Mexican restaurants. Definitely not worth it. won't go back. We loved our experience during the Super Bowl. Robbi helped decide what was good on and off the menu, the fish and chips were so delicious, definitely coming back for more. The pulled pork special sandwich turned out to be one of the best we've ever had,(put it on the menu as a regular if you can.) This place is in a small town which is 45 min away from Denver. This place is spacious and airy. They have a bar outside and is compartmentalised onto two rooms. So you can enjoy the bar area and later go to the pool area. They have two pool tables. The staff was very friendly. You have to look for street parking around this area. read more

If I could put zero down I would. Bartender feels entitled too a tip even though she is completely rude. So rude in fact that she tried hard to make a dramatic scene in front of my company and the bar, only because she didn't get a tip. She didn't get a tip because of her attitude that immediately happen soon as I walked up to order a beer. I went further down the road to Jakes Brew House. They are friendly, good food and better beer. Let's just say the bartender there got a good tip. Come here if you only want the ultimate shitty dive bar experience. A tip is not an entitlement, it is an expression of gratitude. read more

Basically we ordered and waited almost 45 minutes for our food (NOT exaggerating). When it did arrive, our burgers were lukewarm, and fries cold. The gals working were super friendly, and apologetic over the delay. They're the only reason this isn't one star. Trusting the place is better and I just had a bad experience. I enjoy a good dive bar. But we came in for dinner and some beers, and left disappointed. I can see how folks like the place and the food. But dropping over $60 to wait 45 mins for cold food? This place has improved ten fold which is great since its the only divey esq bar in this area. With the douche bag bars like Viewhouse and Tavern popping up all over this place is great to have. Pretty cool place in downtown Littleton. I liked it so much more than the chain Tavern bars. It is more down to earth, fun and overall comfy atmosphere. We met our spin class buds there and had a nice time. There was a jukebox (fun!) where folks could pick their music (and sometimes were preempted by the person with the remote). Very cool and unassuming bar with chill atmosphere in downtown Littleton (which is a very cool area in general). We were a group of 5 walking in on a Wednesday night and had a choice of booths to fit us all. The bar was moderately full and the tables in the room were full. There is patio seating available that people took advantage of, even on a rainy, chilly night. Prompt service from the friendly bartender in a Hawaiian shirt. He was patient with us, trying to decide what to drink and eat. We got Buffalo wings and Garlic Parmesan wings (2 10-piece orders at $9.99 a piece; better deal than 20 for $19.99) and both were delicious. Philly cheese steak, breakfast burger, tavern melt, black and bleu burger, onion rings, tater tots, French fries.... no complaints on any of the food. Plenty of TVs with baseball, tennis, golf. Pool tables in the back and great music on the speakers. Nice little local joint that has earned repeat visits! read more

How can you not love the Olde Towne Tavern??? If you live in this neighborhood like me then you know what I'm talking about! They make amazing drinks for adorable prices and the bar food is pretty great! This bar has been here for a very long time and it's not going anywhere. I also don't understand why it has only 3.5 stars. This place is always busy on the weekends. They have a great beer selection, games and pool! Super friendly staff. Not sure why this place has 3.5 stars. I'd imagine it has something to do with it being a dive bar... but I don't get it. I came here on a Friday with some coworkers and we had some delicious beer and food! They have a great draught lineup, the pretzels were delicious and so were the burgers! I'm a dive bar kinda gal and if I lived in Littleton (and didn't just work there) I would definitely frequent this place more often... especially since the fries are amazing! read more

Because OTT has NEVER had a ladies' night, and they also do not have managers. There are two owners, and it takes being pretty obnoxious and / or wasted to get thrown out. Please check your facts (and memory skills) before posting damaging contacts about a local small business. It would demonstrate some class if you would retract your comment and post it under the correct business. Updated to add a note to Becky: You also were at the Littleton Tavern, not Olde Towne Tavern. Olde Towne does NOT have an upstairs. It's unfortunate how often these two businesses get confused for each other. I simply cannot abide cheese sauce on my fries when what you're telling me I'll get on your menu is "aged cheese" like it's real or something. Did you mean aged in a jar from 1982 that said Cheese Whiz? Because that's not what I ordered and more to the point, it's gross. It's a simple rule: when you say cheese, make it real cheese. If you serve food, make sure its actual real food that occurs in nature. Two stars though because the cosmopolitans were good and the service was okay, for the most part. Lots of drunk young people though and sometimes that is even worse than fake old cheese. read more

Matthew S. and I were walking down Main Street to find a place to eat and wandered in here. It was a Sunday morning around 11:00 and there was only one group in the place. We grabbed a table on the patio that had good shade. The bartender mentioned the special which was a $3 burger with the purchase of a drink. The burgers are advertised as 1/4 pound, they seemed to be the usual pre-med frozen patties. They were not cooked to order, because when I said "medium rare" the server blew it off and I got a well done burger. I don't expect much if it's $3, to be honest, but these seem to be the standard regular menu item. I noticed a few different sauces for wings, but nothing on the menu really seemed special. They have great draft beers, and the inside of the place looks straight out of the '70's. It was a good deal to get a burger and beer for under $10, but the burger isn't anything to come back for. A few weeks ago, on a sunny Saturday, we thought it might be fun to do a bar tour through downtown Littleton. This was our first stop. As soon as we opened the door, it looked like it was right up our alley - long bar with the old school faux leather bar stools (the kind with the rounded backs on them). We settled at the bar and ordered a couple of drinks. We both went with vodka sodas - which confused the bartender. She asked if we wanted shots - I replied, "no, on the rocks." We ended up with vodkas on the rocks. Turns out, she was new, so I can give her the benefit of the doubt. A vodka on the rocks is quite an interesting way to start off the afternoon. We noticed they had a lunch special, a $3 burger - even though we were about 10 minutes late for "lunch" they let us order it for the special price. I was so pleasantly surprised - it was tasty. This is a burger I would actually go back for. Since we ended up getting more bang for our buck with the first round of drinks we left it at that. But if this place were nearby to me, I can see it being a great stop for a couple of drinks and some good bar food. I had hoped that we'd get back later in the day for another drink, but we didn't make it back. We'll just have to do another bar tour I suppose. read more

I feel like it is necessary to join CJ in pointing out that some of the reviews are about The Tavern and not the cozy dive bar off of Prince St. I just have to say I love this place! the staff and the owners are amazing! You always get a bang for your buck, they have poker nights and pool tables, a great jukebox, cozy booths, and lots of bar seating. Sure the food is bar food (not the fancy kind) but the pot stickers, quesadilla, and sandwiches are good enough to eat (even if you haven't been drinking). So, if you want to relax and save some dough... have a couple drinks here. This is a fun place filled with fun people! read more

We came into the business on a Saturday night. We were not intoxicated. We went to the bar to order 5 lemon shots and were told we would be served at our seats so they could check out IDs. The bar tender came to our table and when someone handed her their I'd they said "don't shove that in my face" then asked the bouncer to kick us out. The bouncer was unable to tell us what we did wrong or why we were getting kicked out. We were not too intoxicated. It was very confusing read more
