Update: i emailed the the restaurant and never heard back. Seriously so disappointed. I eat here pretty frequently and i kind of honestly feel disrespected by the lack of follow through and empathy. What is this world coming to?!?!? Another review from a chain restaurant from myself! As always my belief is these restaurants really don't need a review as the amount of money spent on marketing for these businesses sell themselves. The reason why I am writing a review to you fellow yelpers is because I wanted to share my wonderful experience on my last visit here last Friday evening. I was on my way to my girlfriend's house to help clean her house but I needed to grab a meal as I know once I'm at her house it will be all work and no play! I decided to make my stop over at Olive Garden since they had their All You Can Eat Pasta promotion going on and who doesn't like carbs right? When I go out to eat on my own I usually choose to sit at the bar. I was quickly greeted by my bartender John and was given my drink and utensils shortly after. Within less then two minutes my salad comes out with breadsticks and plateware and he quickly shreds my cheese by my request. I am always a big fan of the salad here and after finishing two bowls of salad my dinner arrives. Once again faster than expected and served with excellent customer service as well. I had a couple servings of pasta and throughout my meal I was regularly checked up on by John. It wasn't that the business was dead as to why I received exceptional service its more John is a true professional in his field. His follow up was above average. His friendliness and courtesy to his customers was top notch. The best part of my experience here was the floor manager took the time to say hello and ask about my meal was even more of a plus for me. Food here I'm not going to say is excellent but I will say is very consistent across the board. You can go into any Olive Garden and experience the same quality of food throughout every location. As for the customer service, I would definitely make a point to drive a little farther to receive this level of service. John, its people like you make the service industry a better place. Thank you for being a part of the Olive Garden team and when you get a chance to come here for dinner and come to the bar and I'll guarantee the same level of service that I received. In my experience, best one in town. Seated right away. Service was good. Food was good. Resturant was full but the way they have the tables laid out, it did not feel crowded. Accoustics are good, with everybody talking, I could hear the discussion at my table easily. I had the soup, kids had the spaghetti and my husband had the new clam, scallops and noodle dish. Three times other employees asked us how we were doing, three times we asked to have our soup refilled...three times that wss ignored. So when it came to getting the desert that came with the special. That came only after they packed our food to go. SOOOOO SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. Food was delicious. Oh Dear Olive Garden, tonight thanks to your 25 for 2 deal, I'm yours (so are my husband and son). You will never fail to shock me with your freakishly HUGE salad bowl, never ending warm breadsticks, endless shaved cheese upon request and lovely delish soups..and the appetizer that comes with the meal? Oh MY. Calamari and bruschetta ftw. Problem is by the time our meals arrive, no one can finish..I mean even eat them properly so we have to take them home. And how cool was that to have them box your unfinished dinner in front of you...the sweetness of the server although our son was pretending he was a puppy eating his spaghetti meal (oh gods, so sorry about that, his dad encouraged it!). Olive Gardens everywhere really need to work on their burned out bartenders. I was sat 9pm on a Sunday. One customer at bar. Bartender sees me and dies not even greet me. He walks away. I'm still waiting. It's been five minutes no greeting. He's nowhere to be seen. OG please stop putting burned out servers in your bars! Only one I've had good service in I've tried oats six months is Camas. That's out of six in three states. Bartender gives decent service but at 50% speed. Went there for our sons birthday, four of us. We sat in a back booth. Our server came, took drink orders. Brought out the drinks, and took it order. Shortly after she brought the breadsticks. That was all we saw of her. Four tables around us we re being served by another waitress. We saw her alot. At one point, we asked her about our server. A little bit later, someone else came to our table to"check" on us. He said he'd go find our waitress. Eventually she came back, with ALL the food... salad as well as the main course. All at once. We said no, that's not gonna work. She got the manager, i think, he was gonna take the main course back, but by then we were ready to go. So we were there for already an hour. Got drinks and four breadsticks but nothing else. I can understand that maybe she was new but that was way not acceptable. The manager guy was not very helpful either. I have not been to an Olive Garden in years. Not that its a bad place, but I just choose to eat at other non-chain restaurants. But, we came here with family, and I forgot how much I like those damn breadsticks and salad. The husband and I split an entree (the seafood bordetto). It was OK. Nothing spectacular, but it was healthy and that is what I wanted. We had great service, and this location was clean. The manager stopped by the table to make sure we were all doing OK, and I always like that, no matter what restaurant I am at! read more

Breadsticks, Zuppa Tuscana, and salad are really your best bets here. Service was friendly, though we waited an awfully long time for our check. Beyond that, it is a typical Olive Garden with multiple overpriced dishes that feel/taste like they were microwaved. read more

I loved the Chicken & Gnocchi soup. Oh my gosh, it was amazinggggg. My Raviolli di Portebello was ALRIGHT. Nothin' special. I didn't eat the breadsticks. Their Strawberry Fresco drink is FABULOUS; totally the drink for me. The service was SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWW. (That's why I give this location 3 stars.) I thought our server was new because she had to read off of the menu and seemed a little unsure of herself. Come to find out, she was new - she said she had just settled in Oregon for good. I kind of felt like I was discriminated against. Ahahaha. Little, brown-skinned me, got tucked into the back corner. It was dark and lonely seeming. I thought they were closing down because NO ONE was around. When I walked out of the restaurant, I saw that it was actually busy and bustling. And ALL white people were seated in that area. My family and I don't get to town often, but when we do we like to stop here and eat before we do our shopping. We must have came in on an off day. We waited at the door for a while before we saw anyone who worked there. Then the hostess asked how she could help us.... obviously we are there to eat. We were sat at a tiny table (there were 4 of us) and it was even longer before a server came to the table. We ordered,another server brought it out to us but it came out wrong so only 2 of us ate for a good 20 minutes before the other 2 got their food, which was brought by an entirely different person. After a long day of work i just wanted a calm evening with my son. When we arrived around 7pm I was told it would be a 20 minute wait. My son who's 9 insisted that we stay and wait for our table. So we did. I thought while I'm waiting I might as well get a drink to go with my long day I had. By time the bartender has even finished my drink my table was ready! I thought perfect! Sat down and was greeted by Ramsey! I absolutely loved her. She was fast, checked in with us at the perfect time. I used to be the a server so I know the rules to providing good service and she did just that. She even recommended a good tasty meal that I enjoyed eating myself. After I was done with my meal we even talked about 5 minutes or longer just about the universe. It was exactly what I needed. If you go to this place I would recommend sitting in her section. Used the online "join waitlist" for our Father's day dinner..total waste. Our entire family with two hungry toddlers were told 15 minutes online...only to get inside and find out we would be waiting 30-45 minutes! The guy said they've been asking corporate to fix it for months..wow I would not have had my whole family drive all the way there to wait 45 minutes..which is impossible with toddlers. Still my favorite bread sticks, soup, and salad. I've been to so many different places and yet I still like this place just as much. It's not even really the food that does it for me (even though it's amazing to me), but the staff has almost always been so amazingly friendly and attentive. They're just the type of servers you leave thinking you should come back just to help with their paycheck. I've been to other Olive Gardens and this one is just all around better; the food and staff are significantly higher in standard in every way. I feel as if I can't go to any other olive garden ever again. Price wise, this place is actually the same or cheaper than the other big restaurants around. If you stick to pastas or pizza it's really cheap. Just don't order any drinks and say no to appetizers, then fill up completely on beadsticks and soup. Can't say that I have ever really had a bad time or horrible food at an Olive Garden. The food really is pretty consistent at all of their restaurants. One of the highlights would definitely be the salad and breadsticks. A trip to the Olive Garden would not be complete without it. Some other things I really enjoy is the lasagna fritta for an appetizer, the tour of Italy if you are hungry for an entrée along with the chicken marsala and for dessert you can't forget the zeppoli. read more

Deceitful advertising...on TV it has the pasta for 11.99 doesn't say its LUNCH ONLY..so once you get in there at dinner time..I was a little disappointed..then the 13.99 endless pasta well dont forget the toppings for an extra 6$.. and the appetizers are not advertised as appetizers. So my husband ordered the shrimp scampi "appetizers " but could not have the endless salad and breadsticks cause we weren't aware that he ordered an appetizer. The drinks were weak..the prices were high. And Luke our server was not very attentive..waited almost a half hour to order our food by the time he came to our table he was very rude not very informative either. Their food is always fantastic when my husband and I go. My mother-in-law loves this place. They have a great assortment of hot tea, delicious ice teas, lemonades, and wines. I believe our favorite appetizer would be the 5 Italian cheese fonduta and fried ravioli (secret menu item). They have amazing bread sticks and salad as well as eggplant parmigiana and shrimp Alfredo; my husband always orders the classic lasagna which he loves. They have a limited but fantastic dessert menu; my favorite being the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. Their service is wonderful and the server is always attending to our needs and wants in fantastic time. Italian like setting, usually quiet unless someone unfortunately brings noisy children to the establishment in which case they usually try to separate the two to create more harmony for others. read more

I was in here recently with a friend of mine. It had been about 8 years since the last time I eat at an Olive Garden, my previous experience being a bad one. Last night I ordered 3 (double orders) "buy one, take one" orders. I asked for 5:00 pickup, along with everyone else, apparently. After much confusion about my order (on their part) and me waiting 40 minutes, we finally got our order. I had ordered Chicken Parmesan for one meal and got Eggplant Parmesan. Also the website advertised $12.99 for the two meals and I was charged $14.99 for each order. I will not be using the car side service in the future, I'll stick with Ubereats or Doordash. read more

I was breastfeeding my baby. It wasn't out in the open but I forgot a cover at home. Also I don't believe I have to cover because it's natural. Anyways, i was trying to order and the waiter kind of interrupted and said "do you have a towel or something to cover that?? Just saying because of the customers" so my sister in law put her jacket on me.. I felt ashamed and embarrassed for doing the most natural thing which is what breasts are for. My son couldn't eat with the jacket over his face and I can't blame him so I wasn't able to feed him. Even after I was done feeding him the waiter handed me an extra cloth like "here" but in a awkward rude-ish way. It made me feel so uncomfortable and I felt like crying. You guys sexualized breast so much that you made it weird to feed a little baby. Stop mom shame. Stop breastfeeding shame. Let babies eat in peace. Let mom's feed in peace. --- So I got in touch with the manager and he apologized. He said he will emphasize to his staff that breastfeeding is welcomed & how olive garden is a family company. OK, first of all, let me acknowledge that I already know all the negative things that people rant about Olive Garden. Yeah, I know that it's a chain, it's a big corporation, it's not authentic, sauces are pre-made, it's just not COOL, blah blah blah. That said, I still like it and go there once in a while. . .the service is usually friendly and efficient, the endless soup or salad you get with your entree is nice, the food tastes OK, and they have an occasional new entree on the menu to try (or not). Our dinner tonight was just as expected: I ordered Chicken Marsala and my friends had Eggplant Parmigiana and Citrus Chicken Sorrento, and we all liked our meals. No complaints. Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly. Maybe their prices are a bit high for what you get, but overall Olive Garden is really not a bad place as many people (fashionably) say. read more
