Hostess were arguing when we walked in. 20 minutes after being seated a waitress came up and said "Sorry I didn't know your table was mine" Food came 5 minutes after salad and was watery tasting. I took my family out for dinner on Christmas Eve. The place was not too busy and the noise was low. They had Christmas music playing overhead. We had a party of 5. We ordered linguini Alfredo I had the chicken and broccoli my wife had the shrimp. The neverending salad and bread sticks were perfect. We ordered spinach artichoke dip appetizer it was delicious. Me & my friend ate there the other day (Nile's), we both got sick! Never had a scampi sauce that had a lemon twang to it... I had the chicken scampi & got extra vegetable (green & yellow peppers & onions). Now the veggies were the only thing that had this lemony/vinegary flavor. The salad was fine. My friend had something different, but wanted some of my peppers. She said what kind of flavor is this. I didn't think much of it, cause different places have different versions of how they do their scampi sauce-this was very different. Both our stomach's was upset the rest of the day & night! The day after my stomach settled I wanted my food....I took every piece of vegetable out, & I was fine! No stomach ache, and no lemony flavor! Ordered a meal for the family for curbside pickup. When I arrived home I found that one of the items ordered was not in the bag. I called in and talked with a representative who was able to transfer me to a manager. I was not able to drive back to the restaurant to get the missing meal but they kindly offered me an e gift card for the mistake. We had another incredible meal at the Niles, Ohio Olive Garden this evening. I had gotten an email about their new Never ending stuffed pastas and it seemed like a perfect way to end a crazy Monday. I am so glad we did. We had a wonderful server - Jeremy - who not only was friendly but he really made you feel at home and relaxed. He was excited about the new dishes and we had a great conversation about which one he could wait to try. I liked how he wanted to make sure we had a great experience. And we did. My daughter and I both began with the new stuffed Ziti with Alfredo and topped that with shrimp and scallops. It was perfect. It was like little pillows of the most wonderful cheese. The shrimp were small but that's OK they were great and the scallops were perfect. We both loved out meal. My husband had the baked Ziti with marinara and meatballs and he loved his as well. He changed up for his second one and had ravioli with five cheese sauce and meatballs. It looked amazing and he said it absolutely was. We all had way too much but it was delicious. I did not get topping on my second dish and opted for just ziti and a light sauce and it was just perfect. Don't pass over this place because it is a chain. By far the worst Olive Garden I've ever been to. I understand supply is an issue at this point in time but I feel like there is literally no excuse for the terrible food we had last night and I blame management. We will not be back. Everything tasted like freezer food that was over cooked. My calamari was rubber with literally no seasoning we didn't even eat most of it just sent it away. My chicken Marsala was what I'd expect out of a microwave dinner. My boyfriends stuffed pasta was over cooked and plain. Furthermore,I don't understand what's going on in Trumbull county, but just having moved from Lake county I'm starting to worry about all of our dining experiences out here. This location baffles me, how can you charge these prices with quality of service, along with portion sizes and quality. Honestly my pasta could have been used as a workout stretch band and was so dry we had to get more sauce. My wife's drink was brought out wrong and her meal was brought out to the point where a iceberg would have been warm. We sent it back and faced opposition from our server. Our soup and salad arrived at the same time as our meals. Her reorder didn't come out until our meals were already finished. Our shrimp and scallops and pasta made me think the sea is running out wildlife. it looked nothing like the picture and would have been better off at long john silver's. Our server was horrid and was slow to all of her tables and had multiple complaints. Again for the price and quality and service if it weren't for having gift cards we wouldn't be back to this location as the last few visits were ones to forget. We did tell a manager but her response well it wasn't a response, just a fake smile and head nod. read more

This was the best dining experience I have ever had. I was in town for just one day and wanted to take both my handicap parents to lunch. The staff was great we were seated quickly and they put us in an area that could accommodate my mother's wheelchair. Our waitress Tiffany Morrow was by far the best waitress I have ever had in any restaurant I have ever eaten in. She was kind and friendly and even took some pictures of our group for us. I have some dietary needs and she made sure I was accommodated. I just can't say enough wonderful things about our experience. The point of ordering online or by the phone is to have the food ready by the time we arrive for pickup. I ordered my food and I was later 20 minutes for pick up so I called to make sure my food was still waiting for me they said yes. After arriving I had to wait another 15-20 for someone to come out and after paying with a debit card, it took another 15 minutes for the person to come out with the food which in my opinion the door is too far from the pickup location which also contributes to the addition of waiting time. read more

I use to love eating here but it seems the quality isn't there like it was years ago or else my taste changed. Ordered cheese ravioli and was very disappointed. We have so many true Italian places to eat in this valley that Olive Garden just can't compete in taste. Horrible service and mediocre food. The favorite ingredient in the kitchen of this Olive Garden is obviously water. The Chicken Gnocchi was so watered down that the broth would not stick to the spoon. There was so much water that it rendered the soup indelible. My main course was the Papperdelle Pescatore. The sauce, once again was watered down, but not as bad as the previous soup. The noodles were over cooked and were clumped in a big pile in the middle of the plate. The shrimp were lacking flavor and chewy as well. The service was appalling. The wait for salad and breadsticks was over 25 minutes for our table. As soon as the salad was dropped the waitress asked immediately if we needed refills on the said salad. We need to eat some first before knowing, give us a few minutes to find out. All night long I was dodging our servers' arm as she reached over my plate to serve the rest of the table. I was also asked to pass out plates and beverages for our table as well, I was doing her job for her. At the end if the meal she didn't even bit he to pack up the leftovers in to go containers. That task was left up to us. Instead of spending her time explaining how to properly latch the to go container, she could have done her job herself. Thankfully I am from out of town, and will never visit this location again. This experience did leave a bad taste in my mouth for the whole Olive Garden chain though. read more

I have been here twice for Never Ending Pasta Bowl special and now once and had the cucina mia where you build your own pasta bowl. I really enjoyed all the options during the Never Ending Pasta Bowl and the food was pretty high quality despite being a promotional and all-you-can-eat. However, the food was even better when I came and ordered the cucina mia. I got spaghetti with the garlic alfredo sauce and chicken fritta topper. I love Olive Garden's Alfredo sauce, it is always delicious and the crispness of the fried chicken cutlet contrasts nicely with the creaminess of the sauce. The breadsticks are always good and our server was very friendly and brought our food efficiently. I will definitely be going back soon and I will get the same meal again. read more

Never really was a fan, but thought I'd give it a try again as a gluten-free foodie. The gluten-free menu had few selections with no prices listed, when compared to the regular menu they were mostly the pricier items listed. Which makes me question what corporate restaurants think of celiacs. It's a true problem for many people and more fast approaching, not just a trendy diet choice. Last time I enjoyed shrimp linguine white sauce and they add cheese if you like. It was delicious too. I've never really been a HUGE fan of Olive Garden and that has especially changed since I moved to Cleveland and live right in Little Italy. But, Olive Garden does do some things absolutely right. Years ago, i would come here often with family. I refuse to ever go back to any Olive Garden, especially this location. First of all, I understand that they are trying to "keep up with the times" but I HATE the kiosk/computers they have at every table now. If i go to have a sit down dinner I do not want that distraction and I don't feel that I should be paying a tip to order my own food and/or cash out my own check. I feel this way at other restaurants too (like Applebees and Smokey Bones). The service here is never excellent, its barely mediocre no matter what server you have. I agree with the other reviewers that they always seem rushed and stressed. I usually get the minestrone soup and can't even do that anymore because it has gotten saltier and often served lukewarm instead of hot, doesn't matter what time of day. The quality of the food has just declined so much over the past 10 years, its sad. The freshness isn't there anymore and you can obviously tell that the ingredients have been cheapened. Be it changes in distributors or just poor upper management, just not worth the cost. I was frustrated after asking a waitress about a certain special to confirm that it had no meat in it (or meat base, like broth) because I am a vegetarian, it was served to me covered in bacon. I even re-read the menu and looked up the ingredients online (which i couldn't find in detail) to make sure that it wasn't my fault for misunderstanding. There are so many wonderful local Italian restaurants in the Mahoning Valley, please go support one of those instead of a chain that we have way too many...... read more

I've eaten at a few OG's in the past. The service here was horrible. Food was good though. Only got one refill and asked for more breadsticks and was never brought any. She never checked our table much but did all the others around us. My wife was never offered a refill and the waitress never asked if we wanted to try any of the coffees or foods as she asked all the other tables around us. I'll stick to driving the extra distance to Boardman OG and eat there. read more

I come here with my mom and sister every few months and we are lucky enough to get our favorite waitress everytime. We have had nothing but EXCELLENT service and wonderful food. Everything from the dining area to the restrooms are clean and neat. The hostesses are always smiling and friendly. When we've had an issue, the manager has always been fast, friendly and quick to fix. I have absolutely NO complaints. I have never felt more at welcome or at home. I walked up to the bar who took my glass and cane back from the kitchwn with a coke zero.I tasted it it was fine. When I finished my drink. The waitress, I believe her name is Nicole, said coke zero? She brought me another drink I took a sip it tasted like chemicals. I threw up inthe sink and the toilet. I declined another drink from managment. I did not let my child have another soda. It takes to long for a full meal so when we do go here for lunch we get the soup and salad. Its very good food but the service has not been the best the last few years.
