One of a few healthy options in the area I used to frequent this place often. The last 2 times I have ordered sandwiches from them the bread on my sandwich was stale and today I found mold on my bread. I am really disappointed because I really liked this place but I will not be coming back. Hopefully they find a better supplier or choose to order their bread fresh daily. read more

Great place! We were on our way to airport and wants to grab a bite before dropping off family for their trip. I read reviews and many people recommended the tuna sandwich. I agree it is yummy! What a great place to visit to help support local businesses. Fantastic service and they asked if we were satisfied with our meal. I work down the street from Olive It and I can't help it but to visit daily. It is by far the most warming and down to earth place in the area. It gives you the proper sense and hospitality that a community deli should, always helpful. Depending on the day, you can find various specials from panini's to homemade soups. They usually have a good variety of sandwich breads and salads, while I've never had their leaf salads, I can vouch for the broccoli and pasta salads. Scrumptious. All of the ingredients are fresh and the portions are definitely a great bang for your buck. If your looking to either have a filling lunch, eat healthy, and not pay over 10 dollars, Olive It is the place for you. If your looking not to wait in line, I recommend going before or after the lunch rush due to surrounding hospitals and business. read more

They're so friendly and have such good food for such a good price, even when I think I should stop being so boring, mundane, routine and anal retentive - my practical side takes over and I end up in line with all the other folks that can't resist this place. Ask for a 4 1/2 sandwich - that's a Turkey/Roast beef. It's my fav. Or the number 3. Aww shoot, they're all good. Oh - and they have a panini machine - turn any sandwich into a machine for the extra cost of a slightly longer wait while the machine warms up. Hidden gem in Westchester. I had a basil, mozzarella and tomato sandwiches which was superb. Wish I live close by to come here more often.

Cute little sub shop close by LAX. Stopped in after my flight and the ladies at the counter were super friendly and courteous. I ordered salads, which came in quarter pound containers - the egg salad, tuna salad, and caprese. All were very good. I have gotten the Caprese salad several times, and its really fresh and yummy. However, today I was a bit put off by the fact that the owner was on the phone when I walked in (stayed on the phone for about 5 mins before acknowledging me) and then hung up the call (albeit she THEN greeted me pleasantly), and then I placed my order and she started to make my salad with her bare hands, (that were unwashed and without gloves!) since touching the phone. She then received 2 more calls before she finished, all the while talking on the phone and making my salad with still unwashed, ungloved hands. She then took my payment, rang it up on the register, and then swiped her fingers on a dirty tablet (to do a Square payment with my card). I think cleanliness is top priority in a food establishment, so that bothered me. I paid for it, although I shouldn't have, and then chose not to eat it. I saw another review about her not handwashing. That is unacceptable. I didn't get an opportunity to check for the letter grade on the window but unless she did a different practice when investigated, it had to at least be a B. read more

Great little sandwhich shop - walked in here while I was trying to find something to eat while waiting for my car to get fixed. Nothing fancy but they have some good options and I asked for mine toasted which made it super delicious with the cheese a bit melted. Also, the lady at the counter was really nice and gave me a sample of the soup that day, chicken tortilla. I wasn't planning on getting soup but it was so delicious I had to get some as well. Not a ton of seating but it wasn't crowded when I went so I could sit and eat without a problem and it seemed like most people came in and just picked up the food to go. I went to Olive It yesterday and I had a really nice tuna sandwich, but I was amazed at the salad offerings. I ordered a 1/4 lb bean salad, potato salad and pasta salad (for later) and loved all 3 salads. The girl at the counter was really nice too, she asked me if I wanted to sample the salads (which I ended up getting 3 salads because they were all so yummie). I will definitely go back again. You have to go early as parking can be a little tough on the street. read more

Really great customer service but the sandwiches were just okay, which was disappointing because the aroma in the shop was delicious. There are lots of options to choose from and many specialty drinks and snacks but I don't think I will go back since the sandwiches are what I am after. I ordered a veggie with mozzarella. The flavors were indistinguishable and kind of all blended together for a sort of bland flavor experience overall. The gluten-free bread option was tasty though! read more
