If you ever feel like a yummy deli sandwich for lunch and are in the westchester area you should try this place and avoid that tired subway around the corner. The sandwiches are so good and fresh. They have plenty of breads to choose from and the yummiest deli meats and cheeses. They also offer good sides such as potato salad and a really good tomato and mozzarella salad! The olives are great too, but if your a pepper person don't sleep on the roasted red peppers, many of their signature sandwiches feature these. Me & a friend placed an order over the phone for 3 sandwiches & were VERY specific on what we wanted . They lady who answered the phone said "okay thank you , it'll be ready in 10 mins" . I went to pick up the order & once I got back to the salon, it was wrong . My friend called the business & let them know it was wrong & repeated again what she ordered . The lady stated she didn't know how to make the order & when asked if she can contact someone who does she said "No" & mentioned the manager was out of town. We went back to the business to speak with them in person & see if something else could be done, the cashier lady once again RUDELY stated she doesn't know how to make it & she wasn't going to contact the manager due to her being on vacation & def not for just two sandwiches. We also inquired about the pasta salad because the one provided was different from the pasta we usually order & another lady came up and said "Well if you pay attention to our menu, the pasta changes on Wednesdays" even though she said it extremely rude, I apologized and said I wasn't aware. I didn't want to go back and forth, so I kindly asked for my money back. At that moment the cashier tossed us the money back, put her hands in our face & told the other worker to be quiet . She had an ugly attitude & we were still calm even after she disrespected us with the hand gestures & tone. When we were about to leave, one of them stated "if u go to McDonald's, u cant do special orders" . My friend has ordered the same sandwich from here at least 3x's in a week due to her job being 2 mins away & she has never had this problem when the manager is present. This place is really good. Tell me where you can get a made to order, healthy, tasty, regular sized sandwich (that they call small) for under $6. The olive bread is amazing, the broccoli salad is fantastic (not too much mayo), and the egg salad is a must-have. The food tastes like it was made at home. My neighbor turned me on to Olive It and he was right! The large subs are Enormous and the small ones can be lunch for 2 with a side of salad. Broccoli salad with cashews is A+. Turkey and cheese sub A+. I love the frozen homemade lasagna, the meat sauce and the meatballs - each in a takeaway container for under $10 and serves 4 normal appetites. That solves many a dinner dilemma for me! As other Yelpers said, this is a cozy family-run operation so different soups and specials are available daily, depending on the chef. I may as well give up cooking - I have chili, 3 kinds of soups and chicken salad in my fridge from Olive It. Closed Sundays. Where do I even begin about this amazing little deli? Their products and meats are A+ across the board. They are constantly busy, so its best to order for pick up. Even so, the staff is quick and you won't be waiting in line very long anyway. Their garlic herb olives are devastatingly delicious. I buy a pound of them each time I go there. This place is a hidden gem! The quality of meat they use is off the chart, their prices are ridiculously cheap, and everything here tastes so good!! Not to mention the "large" sub can feed a small army. Literally half the price of Jersey Mikes, twice the sandwich and waaaay better quality. All their side salads are homemade and delicious! The staff was very helpful and happy - the sandwiches looked amazing - as did the salads. I went in just before lunchtime, and got a #2 Jersey Sub (Ham, Provalone, etc.) It was awesome. The price was excellent. I ordered the large, which was really more then 2 meals for me. It was literally two large subs. Next time I'll get the regular size, which is more than enough. Wow, great deli. I spend a ton of time on the road and typically eat at deli's every day at lunch. I had the Neapolitan sandwich, and it exceeded expectation. The sandwich was served on a fresh roll, with thinly sliced prosciutto, roasted red peppers, and some other deli meats. The next time I'm in the area I will definitely go back by. The only downfall to this location is the limited seating. Other than that the staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, and for the quality of the sandwich it was very well priced. read more

Needed a place to eat before my flight, so I jumped on yelp and saw the high reviews this place got. All I can say is...yelp does it again. The deli meats here are of the highest quality, the sandwich portions are generous, and the prices are incredibly low at this unassuming place. When I told them I would be eating in, they gave me real plates and silverware and allowed us to take the tables outside. I will definitely be stopping here the next time I'm near LAX. read more

Quaint little sandwich shop tucked away in a street that almost makes you forget you're in LA. I ordered an egg salad sandwich, side of potato salad & drink - $8. I really really want to give this place a good review. but I can't. went there yesterday for the first time....line was out the door. guess they were understaffed for "vacation" hours. not really sure what that means since this is mid August. anyway, man behind the counter literally looked like he was homeless. long nappy hair, long nappy beard, sagging torn up pants. and just a dirty visor to hold his hair. he handled food and cash without washing his hands. just gross. there was a "regular" behind us who thought this guy was related to the owner, but even she was a bit horrified. a few people came in and left once they saw this guy making sandwiches. we waited it out (20 minutes just to get to the front). food was decent, good price, good portion, but it is definitely not top notch. visit at your own risk. read more

Went today and got the small #3 sandwich on their Jersey menu (Ham, capicolla and proscuitto). Excellent sandwich on soft bread, lots of thin sliced meats and cheese with perfect amount of lettuce, tomato, thin sliced red onion and dressing. Very polite help from everyone behind the counter.
