Quick and easy spot for a coffee and breakfast. The coffee is pretty average, but better than the big chains. The breakfast sandwich is a bit pricey at $14 but was tasty and filling - again not the best execution but solid and convenient - fluffy bread, good melty cheese, decent bacon, egg was over but that's ok.

Ow. Incredibly hard stale bread. I had to chomp incredibly hard to even get a bite off. Little inside the sandwich. The sandwich also feels burnt? What's all that black char? I got the sandwich before I even paid for my meal, so they just have those on reserve. Not fresh.

Ladies and gentlemen... it's officially fall and that means comfort food! Nomnomnomnom! C'mon it's time to explore the good soup and sandwich combo which is why I love Olives! Olives offers gourmet sandwiches from turkey to chicken breast to mozzarella and tomato. Their soups change often as well and there are daily specials. There are always lines out the door, yes, it is a small restaurant with very limited seating BUT lines to me mean really good food. I love their turkey, , it's the freshest and the sandwich is packed with delicious thick slices of it. The only opportunity is to offer a healthier option of bread, I really try to limit by cheat only day. They should offer wrap and whole wheat pita options. However: O: on Prince Street, another food Mecca street L: loads of delicious sandwich, soup, pastries and breakfast options I: in Soho, one of the best, IMO, to eat and eat well V: there are vegan options like eggplant and veggie sandwiches E: excellent service, line is long but it moves fast and all staff are welcoming S: soup and sandwiches soup and sandwich soup and sandwich All in all a great place to eat and it's next to another Fawn fave, The Dutch ( see my review) See you at Olives, 191 Prince Street

Fruit Salad and Morning Bun! The fruit salad has a particularly nice and diverse assortment! IG: @amei.eats

(Fruit Salad: 87.5% | B) - The fruit salad was surprisingly diverse with at least 8 different fruits, which I was impressed by. The price is reasonable but the presentation is a bit bare. (Morning Bun: 75% | C) - The morning bun I found to be fundamentally acceptable, but overly sweet on a disproportionate part of the bun, not uniformly. Overall: 81%

Nestled in a quaint Soho intersection, Olive's offers some comforting bites if you're looking for a quick, no frills, healthy lunch. I came for a smoked turkey sandwich which I took to go. There weren't many seating options. Despite comments about slow service I thought the staff had a smooth operation nailed down and that any delays were from customers being indecisive. For what I paid, the sandwich was filled with fresh ingredients, from the vegetables to the meat to the bread. If anything, I think you're paying for the quality of a good sandwich. Would love to come back to try the soups.

I came here for coffee although I'm now very intrigued by their dessert selection and sandwiches, will be back to try. It's place caught my eye while on the street as they make their own but kill in house and have pistachio milk!! I got a decaf americano with the pistachio milk, seriously SO good! I wish it was closer to me or I'd be a regular. Place is busy, sandwiches seem to be a crowd pleaser.

Ordered a chicken sandwich and hero here and thought they were solid! The bread on the hero was a little tough but overall really fresh ingredients with a well balanced ratio of filling to bread. Chicken wasn't dry at all and had a nice sauce with focaccia. I will say the portion is in the smaller side but I think the prices reflect that. Would come again!

If you are looking for a good sandwich in Soho, well...this place is not for you. Tuna sandwich tasted like bum bum booty and the chicken sandwich was more bland than a 90's boy band. Going to Mcdonald's to calm my nerves and stuff my face with nuggets. Much needed to keep my sanity after spending $50 on this poopie food. See ya later Olive's.

This was my first time seeing one with roasted duck though. Just a heads up that the street felt a bit sketchy even though it's near the edge of Chinatown. We were unfortunately harassed by someone outside of the store and ended up giving him a few dollar bills... *Chinese Sausage Mala Wrap $10 ** The lap cheong was spread so evenly throughout that I got some in almost every bite. The mala aioli was quite spicy, but not overpowering or lingering. The crispy shallots added such a nice crunch too which I loved! *Duck Tsangwich $16 I was quite surprised that the roast duck skin stayed crispy! The crackly cookie topping could've been thicker since it was pretty flat. They give you chili oil on the side, but it was already super flavorful with the hoisin sauce. Only thing I wished for was more cucumber and scallion to help balance out the richness.

((4.5 stars)) Sunny…read moreand Annie's is very much a 24/7 neighborhood gem of a corner store and deli. it's packed with packaged foods--candy, chips, cookies, ice cream, soft drinks, beer, and a lot more plus the deli counter serves ups an endless list of creative sandwiches. i am not going to say this place is cramped but it kinda is. for example, if people stand in the wrong areas of the store, it will cause a complete standstill of a traffic jam in the store. my advice: order from the deli (and stand somewhere people aren't trying to get to) or grab whatever you need, pay, and leave. this place is not a place to linger. keep it moving. anyway, the obvious draw of Sunny & Annie's is the endless list of sandwiches that are handwritten cards that are stuck outside glass of the deli counter. there is literally something for the pickiest eaters--from hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, wraps, and more. some sandwiches are named celebrities, politicians, etc. i have ordered a bunch of different sandwiches and have not made it through much of the menu. you can also create your own Frankenstein monster of a sandwich. while the sandwiches are a big part of the draw, the insane amount of snack foods crammed into the store is quite remarkable from the large stand of Doritos, Takis, Cheetos and other popular branded snack foods in the front to the separate stand of Wise snacks to an entire back corner of the store filled with all kinds of chips, popcorn, etc. imo, Sunny's has the freshest-tasting Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn. i know an insane take consider it's a packaged popcorn snack from a megacorp (PepsiCo), but i'll die on this hill. maybe it's cause Sunny's sells a lot of Smartfood popcorn so it gets refreshed often, maybe they have a secret in/pipelinbe from the factory, or it's just magic/alchemy. i don't know, but the Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn never tastes stale-ish like it does at grocery stores, the bags never feel deflated because they have been on shelf long, and the popcorn never has that soft mouthy feel but still has the crunch to it. maybe it's just me, but Sunny's serves a great list of sandwiches...AND the freshest Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn. beyond the snacks, the service from the deli to cashier is upbeat and friendly. in all seriousness, Sunny and Annie's is an Avenue B institution at this point and remains a charming family-owned store--and is NOT a sterile modern clone of a neighborhood business.

Ever since my husband introduced me to this place almost a decade ago, I've been in love with their sandwiches. The chicken parm is definitely my favorite because there's nothing better than a hot sandwich on a cold day. Their chicken cutlet portions are always generous. We usually have them cut our sandwiches into quarters because we like to order a few different ones to share, such as the chicken parm and the Italian combo. We used to get them on their round semolina bread which was absolutely amazing, but unfortunately they don't make the round semolina anymore. If you want a sandwich that earns your loyalty over decades, Parisi Bakery & Deli is that place…read more I've been eating sandwiches here for as long as I can remember, and the remarkable thing is how nothing has slipped--not the quality, not the care, not the magic. Every visit reminds you why Parisi has survived since 1903 while trends and neighbors came and went. Let's talk about The Dennis--the undisputed star and a true signature sandwich. This thing is a monster, built on Parisi's legendary fresh-baked bread that somehow stays crisp, chewy, and perfect no matter how much goodness gets piled inside. You get a crispy breaded chicken cutlet layered with thin-sliced prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, and (if you know what you're doing) roasted red peppers. It's all brought together with their house balsamic blend and basil herb spread/pesto--bright, savory, and completely addictive. I cannot confirm or deny that the sandwich is named after me, but I can confirm it's flawless. Pro tips: * Cash only, old-school rules apply. * Come hungry or plan ahead--this sandwich is big enough to share or save half for later, and it still eats beautifully round two. * Tip the sandwich makers. These folks are artists, and the tip box deserves some love. Beyond the food, Parisi is living New York history. From its origins as an Italian bakery on Mott Street, to feeding generations of locals, to being famously beloved by Frank Sinatra (yes, the bread was shipped to California), this place is woven into the fabric of Little Italy/Nolita. Legends like De Niro and Scorsese are fans, and you can still feel that old-world soul--right down to the original brick oven relic resting in the basement. Parisi isn't just a deli. It's continuity. It's tradition. It's proof that when you do one thing incredibly well for over a century, people keep coming back. And once you've had The Dennis, you will too.
