This place is consistently amazing! The service is always excellent, and everything we ordered was delicious. I had the Spritz & Giggles cocktail, and it was absolutely excellent. I went with a group, and everyone loved their dishes. The garlic bread and burrata appetizer were standouts, both were incredible! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done. Definitely one of those places you know you can always count on for a great meal. I'll definitely be back soon!

This is a place to be seen for dinner. Definitely make a reservation because this place was crazy busy on a Wednesday night. We booked a reservation about a week out and there were no spots open until 8 PM. When we got there at around eight it was incredibly busy. We were finally seated at 8:11 PM, but service was very efficient so it still didn't end up being too late at night. This is a reminder for future Christina, get the Isabella passion. I didn't think to get it because I usually don't love gin but I tried my friends drink and I absolutely loved it. I got the Siboni smash, which was also good, but the Isabella passion was better. My friend got the lemonade, which really does just taste like alcoholic lemonade. For appetizers, we got one of their specials, which was an eggplant topped with burrata. It was very good. We also got the goat cheese that was stuffed in a pepper. I definitely did not envision it coming out like that when we ordered it, but even though I don't like peppers, I thought the tastes complemented each other very well. For our main, we got their viral chicken Parm, where the cheese is poured on the chicken Parm tableside. We got the Cacio E Pepe for the pasta side dish that it comes with and then we got a second dish of halibut. Both were pretty good. The pasta actually was not my favorite. The chicken Parm is not healthy, but it was delicious. I thought the halibut was OK. We opted out of getting dessert. Service was fantastic. I felt like my water glass was always full. It is mainly Valet since they have a tiny parking lot, but the valet is free, which is nice. The decor is beautiful and we saw tons of people celebrating special occasions. I would highly recommend checking this place out.

The name in itself is amazing ! While in Tampa we decided to have a nice family meal here with some friends for brunch and loved it so much we came back for a family dinner. They open at 10am on the weekends for a nice brunch and during the week they open at 5pm for dinner only. Food , service and ambiance were absolutely fantastic and my little one loved it because her name is Olivia. We will definitely come back !

Everything about this restaurant is fabulous! Jake, my waiter, was amazing in every way. The atmosphere is active. It's not necessarily romantic, but it would be a great restaurant for a date. It's a little bit on the louder side. My food was AMAZING. I always judge Italian restaurants on their Chicken Parmesan. I travel for a living, and I have it in EVERY Italian restaurant I go to. The Tableside Chicken Parmesan is by far the best Chicken Parmesan I have EVER had! Be careful though! When you get the check, it already includes a 15% tip.

O L I V I A, OLIVIA!! From the moment I pulled up, I knew that an experience was waiting for me. We had a Serenata Drink and it was Delish. Also, their old fashioned delivered like no other. We had the very BEST Bruschetta Ever. The grape tomatoes were a vibe alone with a hint of sweetness. Their Famous Chicken Parm Tableside is definitely a must have and the Lasagna which I hear is leaving the menu soon is the BEST. The Brussels Sprouts were the perfect combination of crisp and soft. Everything was favorable, authentic and presented with a modern flare. One thing: Please make reservations. Give a shout out to Carrie, the Dining Room Manager who runs an efficient dining area. Rory, our waiter. Is amazing too. Their entire staff is on point. Reserve and go immediately. We will be back really soon. 10/10 Ciao Bella!!!

We had to try the table side chicken parmesan everyone has been talking about. It did not disappoint! It was the size of my plate so needless to say, I had leftovers. We also ordered the truffle fries which were the best I've ever had. The aioli served with them was delicious. We shared a side of rigatoni and although good, it was a bit heavy to go with the chicken. Next time, I would get it with spaghetti. Gianna was our waitress. She was super sweet, attentive and made great suggestions. They were busy but efficient. The place is like what you'd expect in South Tampa. The tables are crowded in there to maximize how many people they can accommodate for reservations. As far as the table side chicken parmesan, we were told it's only on the menu until the end of September. This seems crazy to me because it's what drew us and many of our friends in. No one else does this dish. I hope they put it on the main menu.

Our server Savannah was amazing first off! The ambiance was super cute inside and felt fancy. They were making homemade pasta with a big window you could see. And the manager talked to us for a long time and actually cares. This place was so good I didn't want to stop eating. Loved the TikTok chicken. (Chicken parm!) and the short rib ravioli. The burrata was great. Go here!!!!!

What an amazing experience. Went here for a business dinner on a Wednesday night. The place was packed. They have free valet so that's a major plus. There wasn't a single table open so it was fairly noisy but not so much that you couldn't carry on a conversation. We started with meatballs as an app. There were 3 to a serving and since there were 4 in our party, the server added a 4th. Nice touch. For my main, I got the viral internet sensation - table-side chicken parm. It was so good. Like - amazingly good. There was something different about the cheese - I swear I tasted cheddar. Excellent. Pasta does not come with it to I added as a side. They have a variety. I also got their Brussels as a side. They were some of the best I have ever had. The wine selection is vast and varied. From moderate to very expensive. Service was A+. The whole experience was top notch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Warm and inviting despite being loud. One of our favorite places and my son's go-to every year for his birthday! Absolutely amazing food. Every item came out hot and fresh and so flavorful! If you have never been definitely worth the drive! Probably our favorite in the Tampa Bay Area! Service was good but not exceptional this time but aside from that we had an amazing time.

Went here for our anniversary dinner. Our server was great and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered the Brussel sprout appetizer and it was probably some of the best Brussels we've ever had 10/10. My husband ordered the bolognese and he said it was average a 6.5/10. I ordered the short rib agnolotti and added steak tips, it was delicious 9/10. The drinks were well made. Ordered the flourless chocolate cake, we werent fan of it. It was more of a thick chocolate mousse, makes sense being that it was flourless. The quality was great though. The establishment is beautiful, clean and elegant.

Back in Florida and made reservations for Olivia. Excellent staff, amazing food, with a perfect atmosphere. We will continue to venture this restaurant when in Tampa.

    Chicken and doughaffle
    LaToya L.

I was excited to visit the Tampa Olivia restaurant for brunch as I enjoy the St. Pete location. The dining room is bright and beautiful. My party was celebrating two friend's birthday and was immediately seated at our reservation time. Kate our server was super helpful and friendly. I initially ordered the prime burger and asked for it to be well done. Once I received my plate, I was ready to dig in and decided to cut the burger in half as it was so big. Good thing I did because the burger was totally rare on the inside. In the meantime, I decided to eat my side of couscous and discovered there was hair in couscous. I informed the server and she took the dish to the back. The manager did come to the table and was apologetic about the undercooked burger. I decided to order the chicken and doughaffle, instead of another burger, which was cooked to perfection. I would come back for that dish alone.

    Arancini was delicious!

What a great place to eat! The table side chicken parmigiana was amazing. The best I have ever had. All the food taste delicious and the service was great. Definitely would recommend!

Do they split checks for large parties?

Yes but they will add gratuity for parties over a certain number of people.

Is there a dress code or anything like that for dining in the restaurant?

There is not a dress code necessarily. People tend to dress nicely... I have seen people wear jeans with nice tops, cute dresses, sometimes a little fancier outfits maybe, and even nice shorts outfits.

Is there music nightly- live or not?

Every time I've gone there hasn't been live music

    What are your vegan options?

Yes. They have a separate vegan and gluten free menu!

    Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays?

    Yes

    What is the parking situation?

Self parking or valet, I have used both..

Is there a kids menu available?

No, but they do have some pizzas to choose from, & a Mac n cheese.

Do they have any vegan options on their menu?

Yes. And most dishes are easily customizable.

How much is their corkage fee?

Hello, our corkage fee is $30. We kindly ask that our guests ONLY bring in bottles of wine that are NOT on our current wine list.

Do they offer weekend brunch drink specials?

They do offer weekend brunch drinks (I had Bellini), but not sure about specials on that

    Are there vegetarian options?

Yes! I ordered squid ink pasta and asked not to put meat. They were happy to accommodate the needs.

I see there are no prices on the menu. Are most items reasonably priced?

Yes, it's very reasonably priced. The most expensive item is only $30. Most items are $15-$20, and it's absolutely fantastic!!

    What's the preferred attire?

The restaurant is a perfect backdrop for dressing up, without the pretentious vibes.

Do they have a Gluten Free menu or GF options?

Yes! They recently rolled out their GF menu. Ask your server for one :)

Pasta was perfectly al dente, the eggplant fritters were perfectly fried and not greasy, the meatballs were top notch, and the espresso is one of the bests in the entire Tampa Bay Area. I know this spot has been around for a long time, but that was my first visit. It was such a good visit with tasty food and friendly staff that I will be back again and again!

Valentines dinner with the hubs and a new place this year. We were excited to get out and try…read moresomething new. From the awkwardness at checking in to the disappointment with the food, we leave dissatisfied which is unfortunate. The parking is tight but we were able to find a spot. Walked in and nobody at the front so we waited and someone did come. Not really welcomed, just walked up and asked for our name. Gave our reservation name and time. We were a bit early. Told to hang at the bar until the table was ready. We just sat upfront. Made it to the table and seating was tight. I felt like I was in the conversation of the party next to us. Service was ok - server was polite and professional. Took our drink and food order but really didn't check back in on us frequently. The valentine menu included a starter, a soup or salad, a main entrée and a dessert per person. I ordered the artichoke dip as my starter, tomato soup, the blackened mahi and for dessert, the chocolate mousse cake. Artichoke dip was the winner of the evening. It was very good and plentiful so we actually boxed and took home to enjoy. The tomato soup came out next and was so salty that it was not edible. The soup and the artichoke dip sat on the table for a while before the waitress came over to check in on us. When she did come over we advised we wanted the artichoke dip boxed, but the tomato soup was overly salty, like the container of salt fell into the soup. The individuals at the table next to us agreed that the soup was not able to be eaten due to the salt level, the server basically apologized and said there was nothing that they could do given it was a set menu, which was very disappointing that they did nothing to either resolve the issue or offer a salad in place of the soup give we could not eat the salad. Since the meal was prepaid, they should've done something to fix, but the messaging was basically like oh you're SOL. Like I took your money now deal with it. On to the mahi -- it was supposed to be served over coconut lime rice however it was more like a firm block of mushy porridge. Like the rice, maybe had been sitting in water or something all day not sure but it was gross and it had no flavor. The fish was also overcooked because it wasn't flaky and I think that it lacked flavor as well. I ended up boxing it and not even eating it whenever we got home. I think the trash can enjoyed it more than I did. We were full and basically over the experience so we got our desserts to go. Hubs ordered the poundcake and I ordered the chocolate mousse cake. Got home, put everything in the fridge except for the desserts, sat down on the couch to enjoy our desserts and mine was missing!! I had a takeout container that had the whipped cream and a little thing of chocolate mousse in it but no cake. WTHeck man!? It was icing on the cake or the cherry on top for the evening we experienced at this point. Let's just say that based on all the reviews for this place, we expected better and were quite disappointed. Especially for the cost of the prefix menu. I truly believe that a higher quality should've been had given this was one of the busiest days of the year to win people over.

The restaurant is loud and lively due to it being so busy! They have a a great cocktail menu with Italian spritz and rotating specials. For appetizers we did the buffalo chicken pizza which was so delicious!! They have a thin and thick crust pizzas, but this one only came in thick crust. For entrees we did the gnocchi and since they offer pasta half portions, I had the Cacio e Pepe and the rigatoni alla vodka! Both were delicious and that Cacio e Pepe was so creamy. Our server was nice and friendly. The cost for 2 honestly wasn't that bad. I loved all the food and will definitely be back!!

We were originally seated outside, but it was too hot, so we asked to move inside. She was happy to accommodate us. I ordered the Eggs in Purgatory. The eggs weren't runny, which was disappointing, but the dish was still very tasty. The portion was smaller than I expected, so I left a little hungry. Overall, I recommend Forbici. The prices are hard to beat, especially compared to other restaurants in Hyde Park.

We started off sharing a melanzane appetizer which is Eggplant stuffed with ricotta cheese and sweet basil then baked with tomato sauce. It was light, flavorful and a great start. We also shared a caesar salad which is up there as the best we have had anywhere. All came with table bread and a tasty dipping oil with seasoning. I felt the bread lacked salt but was still pretty good. Dinner was equally good. I went with a veal scallopini that was thin, tender and cooked perfectly. My wife had a pasta dish that had an incredible tasting cream sauce with peas, shallots and pancetta. Service was on point too! Overall a great place that we would go back to.
