Have been waiting to try Olivia's since our last visit to Vero and we were not disappointed. Hidden gem in Vero. Their food is fresh, delicious and as good as it gets. We love having this as our go to place when we get amazing food without having to cook :) The chicken Parmesan is SO good- we love their fresh breads, amazing mozzarella, olives and deserts that are really (really) good. So this one is tricky. The service is good and a lot of the food is good. Some have not been to my taste but that can happen anywhere. They have political flags hanging in the store and when I commented they stated they don't care what anyone thinks about the signs and don't want to serve anyone that doesn't believe the same political views as they do. I received many negative Facebook messages from their followers and will definitely not bring my money to this establishment that is clearly very close minded. I will share their opinions with anyone asking for food recommendations in Vero. Ordered from Olivia's for the 1st time last night. Let me just say this was tremendous! Had the Thanksgiving Pot Pie, the Eggplant Parmesan, and the Eggplant Rollatini. All 3 entrees were devoured by 6 adults with plenty of leftovers for my husband's lunch tomorrow. And such a wonderful concept. I had not planned dinner and as a thank you to friends that helped with some installation work, I last minute had invited the guys and their wives for dinner. The food comes cooked in plentiful portioned containers that go directly into the oven to heat. In 30 minutes I served 3 different options for home cooked fresh ingredient meals that were delicious. The food is always fresh & delicious here. It's so convenient to stop in & pick up something for dinner, or even take a few things home for the rest of the week. We love the desserts as well. Some feel they promote their views a lil too much, but it's their business, and they can run it as they see fit. Personally it doesn't affect me. First of all --the complanits are un warranted. IT's the left wing --that can't find anything good in the USA that has the problem. They give their view but do not shove it down your throat. After much anticipation, I finally visited Olivia's today for the first time. While the Service, food, and layout were truly among the best I have seen in Vero, the "Brandon" was everywhere, including on package labels. I did not encounter or sense anyone working there having an issue with my watering a mask, however, I was truly surprised and saddened to see that the owner felt it necessary to very prominently display a very political and polarizing word. What is unfortunate is that the business is basically telling 40-50% of its available / local market that they don't want their business, (saying this politely) I have not seen any size business anywhere in this country (I travel extensively) broadcast their political views at all much less so loudly, and to what end? Is it not possible to enjoy a fine meal without this? So unnecessary. While their food is good, the prices are a bit high. I cannot help but wonder if this is due in part to higher spoilage rates given their dismissive / rude approach to 40-50% of their customers. I really want to go back, but not sure I can. read more

What a gem !!!! This is prepared meals with a daily menu . Follow on Facebook and the menu and meals that are ready are updated. I've had chicken Francese , shrimp & scallops scampi , cheese lasagne ( homemade noodles) and ribs ( best in Vero) . The breads are homemade daily . Every entree is absolutely sooooo good . Hats off to the chef !! The staff are pleasant and personable . There is so more entrees yo try like meatloaf , homemade mozzarella, soups, desserts . Order ahead and pick up . I've purchased food here before and although the prices were a bit steep, we managed to get two meals out of it. This time, I ordered "Chicken Del Rosa" (as much as I can remember) and it came with two thick chicken breasts, yellow rice, yellow and red peppers along with some onion. The chicken was soo dry, we managed to chop it up into bite sized morsels and was able to eat 50% of the dish. As a foodie and a decent cook myself, I would have used dark meat chicken which would have been moister and cut it into chunks instead. Overall, the flavor was decent, but understanding that costs have risen, more could have been done to lower the rapid rise of the costs for the entrée. Most dishes are mainly pasta. We won't see our wheat shortage until 2023. In the past, I'd be able to choose from a number of entrees for $20 - $22, Now, It's up to $28. Go, Brandon, Go! read more

Unfortunately my entree came with a political statement that includes a GOP message Let's go Brandon which means " F Joe Biden". I will never purchase anything there again. Mannn, I walked over there from Indian River, because I got here a couple hours ago for a wedding and hadn't ate since early AM. The young lady working was AMAZING and definitely helped me out by baking the food so I could bring it back to the bar to eat. As I just finished the chicken parm by the way that was incredibly soft and so good, the bread she also sold me has soaked up all the liquor and now I'm ready to drink another gallon of booze to commemorate my friend giving up his life to be married. Olivia's has become our go to place. We are there at least twice a week, and we never buy 1 dish. The food is always fresh and delicious. The portions are huge. We never finish their 2 person portion in 1 sitting. We have had everything from cheese lasagna (my fave) to Veal Parmesan to Lamb chops to Chicken Francesse. They never disappoint! This is a difficult review to write - I love Olivia's food and staff! The best. I went there today, and they have a sign on the front door that says, "MASKS NOT ALLOWED BEYOND THIS POINT". I wore a mask inside anyway. After couple of minutes, another customer in the store without a mask came over to me and gave me this major stare-down, like I was doing something wrong. I called the store after I left, and was connected with the owner. I said I have a 93 y.o. relative living in my house. We have made the decision to wear masks to protect her. I told the owner about this, and said could you just change your sign to say, "MASKS NOT REQUIRED BEYOND THIS POINT"? He got belligerent with me and said, "I'm not gonna change my business, you don't have to shop here". He then hung-up on me. I find the sign and this attitude to be totally unacceptable. My husband and I are staying at Dodgerstown and the hotel room did not have a microwave so we went to Olivia's for some food. We had seen it in passing and decided to look it up and really liked what we saw. One night we stopped in to see what food they had that didn't need heating up. Once we got there we saw most things were in a freezer or refrigerator because the meal of the day was sold out. The man that helped us told us to pick out whatever meal we wanted out of the fridge and he would heat it up for us. I got the fettuccini Alfredo and it was amazing. I was so impressed at the service and how they were willing to accommodate our situation. I highly recommend going there if you are in the area, all the food looked amazing! This is a "take out" place only. Everything is packed up and ready to go. They have a case of food that is in a large refrigerator, and the rest of the meals are frozen. They also have a small case of desserts. I've been here several times, and all the dishes I've bought have been great. Each dish can feed atleast two people. I'd recommend it to anyone. It's nice because you don't have to cook, just heat up the dish you bought. This is the perfect thing if you have someone that does not like to cook. read more

Olivia's simply has delicious food. I have to admit that I haven't tried a wide variety because when I find something I love I stick with it. I can wholeheartedly recommend the chicken francese, chicken parm and the tiramisu, they are amazing. I also love that they print the ingredients in the dish on a sticker on the side of the container. They may not be the most inexpensive but quality is not cheap. They offer several discounts as well. This is scratch made food and much higher quality than the food prepared by any chain restaurant. When you need a break from cooking try Olivia's. read more

If you would like I can show you pictures of Olivia's purchases that are still in my freezer. Flagged Content: The staff does not wear protective masks / gloves. They are so arrogant as to put a sign on the door stating that the City of Vero Beach does not require them to have protective masks. This, despite the fact that Indian River County, Florida does require it. I am not sure what is wrong with the Vero Beach government. Perhaps they are taking the lead from our irresponsible state leaders. I am sure that they will not miss our business, but perhaps the warning for others will be helpful. read more

I want to start by saying I have enjoyed their food, but it's not worth risking my life for. My issue is that they have open food on their counters staff talks and reach over the exposed food. I also feel all food handlers should wear masks and gloves. Their staff wears neither. If these folks don't want to do what is needed to keep everyone safe, I will simply take my business elsewhere. I also on three different occasions tried to directly speak to them about my concerns. Fell on deaf ears. This place is amazing. Their food is absolutely delicious and perfectly portioned. When covid first started I was working the covid testing tent at the hospital. The lovely people at Olivia's graciously provided us lunch for a week. These people are so kind and I'm serious, the food is absolutely delicious. Stop in and see what they have! Was visiting my grandparents and stopped in for a quick bite. Service was slow even though the place was practically empty. The food was not good. Lasagna was terrible. Somehow simultaneously burned and undercooked. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. I do not recommend this place. Plenty of good restaurants in VB. This is not one of them. read more

Was visiting Vero Beach from NY and in search of a bakery and was happy to come upon Oliva's and so happy to be with fellow patriots! Love that the employees wear Go Brandon" t-shirts! Awesome. If you have access to a working microwave and a grocery store, chances are you can have a better meal at home than the one you'll have here. Not only did it take waaaaaaaay too long for my party to receive its order, but the meatballs were partially frozen in the middle. What kind of establishment serves their customers frozen meatballs?
