Best kept secret in Tulsa! Had a recommendation from a friend to eat at Ol' Vine so we tried it tonight (Friday) - it wasn't busy so we were a little concerned. Well forget that! Our waiter was Jeremiah and he was very attentive-we had the meatball appetizers and the stuffed mushrooms which were both perfectly cooked and so filled with flavor. We asked the waiter for his opinion on what was good and he gave a good rundown on the menu. There were 3 of us so we ordered 2 meals & shared - the chicken picatta and the steak ---all I can say is WOW! Flavor in every bite!!! Really was a great meal! Too full for dessert but we did look at the menu and it looked delicious! We are foodies and we loved this place - sorry we didn't take pics. Recommend trying this place. Service is terrible. Seated in the bar area, despite having a reservation. Not sure who are server is. I guess it's the bartender but he seems to be just spending a lot of time cleaning and organizing the back. Food is good, but the bad service has 100% ruined it for me. I get up to Tulsa only a few times a year so this is super disappointing. read more

Had reservations for Doc's Food and Wine right by and walked up to a sign that said closed until Dec 1st. No phone call no anything letting us know that they had closed the building down, I'm assuming due to Covid? We got back in our car which was parked right in front of this restaurant. We said why not give it a try. Boy are we glad we did! We shared a heavenly goat cheese salad. I had some delicious bacon wrapped shrimp cheese grits and husband had yummy stroganoff. We were treated with a coffee cream Brulé that did not disappoint! We also had some yummy cocktails and Sangria. Best part is the extremely friendly staff! Give this place a try! We had our Hilti dinner party there last night and it was the first time I've ever been. Excellent staff and the owner Don was an amazing host. I know how disruptive it can be closing your doors for a private function. I had such a great time I took my beautiful girlfriend there for dinner tonight. Thank you for an amazing dinner. We had a delicious dinner. Everything was cooked perfectly and our server, Austin, was very attentive. We had one cocktail that came out with flat champagne but Austin was very apologetic and immediately got is a fresh one that solved the problem. OK...this is our second time at Ol' Vine. We really love the back patio and were hoping tonight would be better than our first experience. But, that was not the case. We were a party of 5. Tonight we had several issues: A martini was $15 and they charged $2.50 extra for blue cheese olives. WTH??? Our guest ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio and they were served a bottle not on the menu that cost $60!!! Service was crazy. Our waitress was running off before making sure everyone had ordered their drinks or meals. One of our 5 meals was not served until everyone had eaten. They blamed it on new staff in the kitchen. How can you not SEE you haven't served someone at the table??? It was not the evening we had hoped for. We could have gone to Bin 35 or even Stonehorse for what it cost. 1 martini, 2 salads, 5 less than $20 meals and 3 bottles of wine...$350 BEFORE tip. Sadly, we will not return. read more

I've been to Ol Vine a few times now. Once for brunch and once for dinner. Both times I experienced excellent, attentive service. At brunch I had the quiche and salad which was quite tasty. It was flavorful with a nice flacky crust. For dinner I had the shrimp and grits. The bacon wrapped was very good. The grits were plentiful but did lack a bit of flavor. There was a sauce accompanying the dish; however, it did not add much to the dish. Their menu offers a wide variety of appetizers, salads and entrees. Of course, the wine menu is great and the staff is knowledgable and can make recommendations. Overall it was a good experience and I will visit this place again. read more

This place is AMAZING! We sat in bar seating with Hayden as we didn't want to wait for seating another restaurant. What a happy mistake! Drinks were super on point and fresh. Had the bacon goat cheese spinach salad to start and was blown away! I had the snapper with grits, large portion of perfectly cooked fish. My husband had beef stroganoff, normally a basic dish but this was super elevated and melt in your mouth. Friendly efficient service, can't say enough about this place. Had excellent dinners at Ol Vine on February 10 and again on Feb 28 2018. The Ahi Tuna was cooked to perfection and was as good as I've had ANYWHERE. Salmon was delicious. Pizza was exquisite. Garlic chicken couldn't have been better. Food at this place is outstanding!! The wine list is extensive and top notch. Cocktails are fun and interesting. The bar is beautiful and bar stools are the most comfortable in town. Two cool patios in front and back of the restaurant add to the ambiance. Wait staff bends over backward to accommodate you. Zach is a very competent manager and a friendly guy to boot! Love this place!!! You're not getting the whole of Brookside until you try this first class establishment. 10 thumbs up!! read more

We had the red fish w/creamed spinach and cheese grits and the beef stroganoff. The stroganoff was very nice with wide noodles, tender beef and a red wine sauce. The red fish was flaky, but a little dry. The creamed spinach was excellent and the cheese grits were the highlight of the meal. Great malbec, not too sweet. read more

Went here for mother's day. Multiple menu items were unavailable, at 6:00 dinner. The specific dish we were looking for, citrus chicken with garlic, was completely different from how it had been prepared previously. It had no sauce, and the portion of chicken was very small. It was very underwhelming. My friend's vegetarian sampler didn't look nearly as good as what you can get at a Whole Foods salad bar. Service was slow and mistakes were made with basic drink orders like diet coke. For the prices charged at this restaurant, there should be bread for the table. The addition of TVs with America's Funniest Home Movies didn't exactly heighten the atmosphere. Frankly the menu is an uninteresting mishmash of comfort foods with no actual theme. Will not be back. Our service was terrible. She would ask one person what they wanted then leave before anybody else could get a word in. Somebody ordered a bottle of wine, and they were brought a different bottle which was $30 more without notice. The food was mediocre.
