Excellent Greek food and fair lunch special pricing. Nice wait staff. I have eaten here over 20 years and keep coming back. I understand that someone has to pay to keep the lights on, but IMO pricing has gotten expensive over the years. They literally have no competition in the area. They now charge a plate sharing charge and some of my take out favorites have gotten smaller. I will still continue to patronize, but unfortunately less frequent due to rising costs. This little place has some of the best Greek food I've ever had and its more consistantly good than Tom Brady in the snow. You cannot get a bad meal. You will probably be too full to order dessert unless you quit early and doggie bag it for later. You can make a meal out of one of their salads and I usually don't even like salad being the carnivore that I am. Go early and go hungry cause they close down at 9 PM. read more

Best hummus in town. They also make a great Grecian salad; be carful the dressing is strong and you'll probably taste it all day. While the decor is older and the building is dated, Olympia serves excellent and authentic Greek dishes. read more

So happy that I live so close to one of my favorite Gems. It's very small and doesn't look appealing to the eyes but once that fork hits your mouth all else won't matter. The food is amazing and packs so many flavors. It does get packed at times and for being a smaller restaurant I wouldn't enjoy dining in but they do offer the option to take out, so this is a plus maybe a quick pick up for lunch break. The prices are reasonable as this is authentic Greek food and they have a system where if you catch your dish for the week they are running you get your dish at a discounted rate. Can't beat it!! I was a bit under the weather when I came here. I had a headache, but the food was sooo good, I kept eating until I was going to hurt myself. The appetizer portions are huge, so that and the salad alone can fill you up rather quickly. The four of us stopped by for lunch but ordered from the dinner menu. The lentil soup was was very tasty. I had a fish with spinach and rice stuffing. My friend got it too. It was so delicious!! My wife had the scallop and shrimp in a very interesting sauce over pasta. It said spicy but we were pleasantly surprised that it was not. Dinner was served with superb flat bread we couldn't stop eating. We all enjoyed the milfey for dessert. It was creamy, sweet and so tasty. The waitress was friendly, informative and very helpful. This restaurant is simply wonderful! I was recently visiting Vineland and saw the other reviews so I decided to check it out for myself. The decor is very Mediterranean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu choices. We opted for Greek specialties and were extremely pleased. I forget the name of my dish but it was a chicken breast with mushrooms and artichokes in a lemon, white wine sauce and it was delicious! The portion was quite large and it came with rice. My aunt had lamb Athena and very much enjoyed that too. I had the Greek salad that comes with it , equally fresh and yummy and my aunt opted for the soup which she loved. The warm pita bread was incredibly delicious as well. I was full but couldn't resist trying the baklava and wow! Absolutely scrumptious! I highly recommend this restaurant and will absolutely return the next time I go to visit. The prices are reasonable to boot. Simply wonderful read more

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is fantastic! I've been driving by this place for years and never considered stopping because I'm not a fan of feta, lamb or grape leaves. Tonight we finally took a chance, and are we glad we did! We got there early, about 5:30 and the place was pretty empty. by 6:30 it was packed. I told the waitress about my dislike of feta and she was kind enough to make sure none sneaked into my salad or meal. There is a little in their salad dressing, but it was delicious anyway. I had the Skiathous, which was shrimp and scallops in a creamy sauce over rice. It was quite possibly the most delicious meal I've ever had in my life. My husband had the Jumbo lump crabmeat and shrimp with red sauce and he also loved it. Seafood was plentiful, the lumps of crab were large, the prices were reasonable and the service was fast, friendly and she was quick to offer to bring samples for us to taste. I've been here more times than I can count and can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here and have always been treated great by the staff. I've tired nearly the whole menu, but can say the skiathous is hands down my favorite. Shrimp and scallops in a Dijon cream dill sauce...YUM. I only wish I knew where they get their pita bread from, the stuff at the grocery store doesn't come close to what you get here. If I could rate this place with more stars I would. read more

Loved it. Not fancy but delicious! Can't beat the Sunday specials for $12....generous portions with a soup (white bean was very good) or greek salad included. We both had Sunday special: My wife: Rodos Flounder--"fresh filet of flounder stuffed with our spinach and rice, then broiled in a marsala wine sauce, served with cole slaw." My wife loved it although the cole slaw was average mayo based slaw. Me: Corinthian Chicken--"tender chunks of chicken breast and prosciutto ham sauteed in a butter sauce with black olives, served over linguini." Waitress offered me yellow rice instead of linguini which was good. Very good but maybe overly generous with the prosciutto = a little salty. Cold Pikilia platter (appetizer) was excellent!!! Bring Your Own: for wine they bring you an opener and you take care of it yourself = no corkage fee. read more

I LOVE OLYMPIA!!!! Anything I have ever had from here has been amazing. I often order hummus and tzatziki for my parties. I'm addicted to their tzatziki! I would highly also recommend the dessert milfay. It is my absolute favorite dessert! It is also a great place for small parties. My sisters had my baby shower there. In conclusion although it is not the fansiest place around it has great food. Definitely worth going to. read more

One of my favorites for 20 years! It hasn't changed at all over the years. But the decor has no impact on my love for this place. The food is out of this world. Soft warm pita bread. Salad is fresh with the best dressing you'll ever have. Authentic gyros that couldn't be better. The hummus is awesome, but you have to love garlic. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. I have been to the Olympia many many times at this point. I was first introduced by a local friend and have been addicted since and that was several years ago. It is great for a sit down meal or just to grab some take out on the run. The service is superb. It is local servers who truly get to know you and are knowledgeable of the menu inside and out, witty and funny as they serve you the food. You can't ask for more in a group! The food is authentic and very Greek! It does not disappoint in any way with their savory or their sweet choices. They have sampler dishes so you can try a lot of the food if you are not familiar. Their Gyros are absolutely amazing and authentic! You don't leave feeling heavy or like you just did some guilty pleasure...it is prepared well, flavorful and with love! The decor is very "small town, local family owned restaurant" kind of thing. I don't think it needs anything but maybe a little sprucing up just to add some freshness and cohesion. It is VERY clean and spacious and you feel comfortsble either with a large group or sitting solo. read more

We used to love this restaurant, but we were sorry we stopped by for lunch! It has really changed since our last visit. We got spinach pie and tzatski appetizers. The spinach pie was good and enough for two. The tzatski was slopped in a bowl, and was not very good. The mousaka was a big pile of cheap ground beef with a tiny custard topping and some hidden eggplant. Greek salad wasn't bad, but the dressing was not at all like it used to be and left a bad taste in my mouth. No surprise this once busy restaurant was empty on the weekend! What a shame. read more

I felt compelled to update my review. For years, my wife refused to eat lamb. Until, I forced her to try the lamb in my Gyro. From that day on, all she orders is the Gyro or Gyro platter as she absolutely loves the lamb! We recently ordered take out (hard to get out to eat with a 7-week old infant). The gentleman at the counter (whom I haven't seen before) was very friendly and personable. My wife ordered the gyro platter which is always consistently great! I decided to try the Shrimp Saganaki ( large shrimp broiled in fresh garlic oregano, white wine with melted feta cheese, served over rice or linguini) which was excellent. As always, the salad that accompanies the meal is fresh and the dressing is great! This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Vineland area read more

Never had a bad experience at Olympia ' s! Food and service are both great ... especially the waitresses! We eat there minimum once a week!
