I had been really wanting to check out a Korean spa and scrub, but I was a little hesitant about where to go after reading reviews on Yelp. Olympic Spa far exceeded my expectations. The various tubs and rooms were all well maintained and there was plenty of space. I went at 2pm on a Thursday and didn't feel crowded or rushed. I had the Goddess scrub and massage, which was fantastic! The scrubbing wasn't unbearable, but still got all of the dead skin off of me. The subsequent massage and oil application were just lovely. My technician quickly realized that this was my first scrub and did a great job walking me through what to expect. I can't wait to bring friends back so they can have the same experience. read more

ATTENTION!!!!! Olympic Spa is now an 18 and OLDER spa!!! We are from out of town, and last year I took my daughter there for her birthday. We both got the Goddess Treatment, and it was everything it was reviewed to be, and more. I wanted to repeat the same experience with both my daughters this year. I registered all three of us online, and called the spa to book our services. When I registered my girls under my profile, I listed name, date of birth, etc. We drove from Newport Beach to LA which took us 1 hr. and 45 minutes. We were all SO EXCITED to get our day started. When we walked in the girl behind the desk asked how hold my one daughter was, and she replied "17". The girl told us she would not be allowed to go into the spa because she was not 18. The girl said this is a new policy as of the first of the year. She also told us several times that this is on their website. Needless to say, all three of us walked away VERY disappointed. I had my oldest daughter look on their website, and under "Spa Policies" it does state that it is an "18 and older" spa. I completely understand that policies change, but I never ONCE thought to look at the policies because we had been there last year, and there wasn't a problem at all. I explained to the people at the front desk that my daughter had been there before, and that she was a returning client. That did not make a difference. The fact that I had to put in her birthdate to register her, and nothing popped up alerting me that she was underage is concerning. I think this is something that needs to be addressed. I cannot bash their services because I know if we had been allowed to go in, it would have been wonderful. However, it was crushing for all three of us to be so close, and then be turned away at the front desk. Maybe next year. read more

I came here with a friend to unwind before my wedding. I had never been to a Korean spa before. We were shown around by a member of the staff. I was given a waterproof bracelet with a number that you use as a key fab to open and close your locker. We changed into our robes and started our spa experience. We first headed to the restaurant and had lunch (the potstickers were delicious). Then we decided to hit up some of the rooms. This is where disrobing and sort of walking around naked first came into play. I was a little nervous about the naked aspect, but I must say that after a minute I didn't care at all. Nobody cares so you feel very much at ease. The Himalayan salt room was very relaxing. The oxygen room was rejuvenating. There is tea set up near the locker room and I can't remember what is in it but it's very good. Then we went into the spa area. We spent some time in the regular hot tub then ventured into the cold dip pool. After 5 minutes we went into the wormwood hot tub and waited there for our treatments. I got the goddess treatment. A lady in a black sports bra, black panties, and sandals came out and called my bracelet number. She was my masseuse and she escorted me into the back area right behind the hot tubs where tables (covered in rubber with a Burberry-esque pattern) are set up in little stations one after the other separated by cement walls that are about shoulder height. I had ordered the Goddess treatment. She instructed me to lay down and poured warm water all over me. She then used exfoliating mitts to go over my whole body. The amount of dead skin that came off was unbelievable. It didn't hurt as badly as I expected. Roll over and the same thing on the other side with occasional dousing of warm water to wash away the skin. There is no modesty in this. She gets everywhere. But again, she doesn't seem to think anything of it so I felt comfortable. Then i went to the shower to wash any remaining dead skin off. When i returned she scrubbed me with a nice smelling semi-exfoliating soap, rinsed me off, and gave me an amazing full body massage including a peppermint scented essential oil scalp massage/wash as well as a face mask. The whole experience was so nice and pampering, and very different from anything I've ever done before. When she was done she had me stand up and she wrapped me in a robe. I thanked her and headed back to the locker room. I had wanted to spend some time laying on the warm jade floor but i didn't have time. They have very nice blow dryers set up which I used because I had a dinner to get to. There were all sorts of little items to use while getting ready (cotton swabs, q-tips, mouth wash, tissues, etc). I got ready and headed back to the front desk to return my fab and leave a tip. They have a whole area set up with lovely spa products for purchase if you wish. I thanked them and headed out. We ended up spending about 5 hours here and I have to say it flew by! I loved it and can't wait to go back! read more

It does not say that it's a woman's only day spa. I made an appointment for both myself and the hubs only to be surprised when I pulled up to check in. Facility isn't too huge but it's clean. They are more gentle than Crystal Spa. The body scrub is humane...they don't just toss water all over you. You also don't feel like a piece of raw, throbbing flesh thereafter. My massage was ok. She didn't ask me where I wanted to focus and the lady kept wanting to talk when I wanted to just veg out. Prices are ok. read more

Great korean spa. The facility is very clean, with lots of spaces to relax, from the mugwort spa, regular spa, steam room, sauna, and my favorite Himalayan salt sauna, lots of space to relax and lounge and a great on sign restaurant with delicious food options. I got the 45 min scrub and really enjoyed it. My only issue with it was that the area where you get scrubbed is very cold and I was freezing most of the 45 minutes. Next time I would do a shorter scrub time ( I think they offer mini 25 min scrub which I think will be enough for me) or ask if they can put a towel on me. read more

What an amazing way to relax! I like both WIPSA and Olympic Spa for different reasons. Olympic Spa is smaller and more intimate and not open 24 hours. You still get the free valet parking and have a variety of amazing scrubs and massages to choose from. I got one of the basic scrubs and received the exfoliating washcloths at the end so that I could use it at home. They have various steam rooms and saunas. I recommend relaxing in the Himalayan salt room and the tea tub. There's actually a jacuzzi filled with tea! It smells delicious. They also have a cold tub which is basically ice water. You have to shower before and after each tub experience. The food is amazing! The portion sizes are pretty big. I really liked their pho. You can charge it to your wristband and pay at the end so you're not carrying cards/cash around. Great time! read more

The selection of spa amenities and services are wonderful! I am writing this review today because I want to recognize the above and beyond service we received at our last visit. I went with my friend and mother. With my mother being of an age of wisdom, petite found that soaking in the hot baths challenged her physical stability and endurance, leading her to faint. We wanted to recognize the staff's speedy response to acquire medical attention if we needed and support in getting her back to feeling herself. It is a great all women's spa which is a big plus! When you walk it it really has a spa feel to it. There is valet parking but also parking in the side street which it also convenient. It is clean within basic things to use such a blow dryer, lotion and q-tips. I booked 2 spa services a massage for $55 and a 25min body scrub for $25 but was charge $90 which I was unhappy about but due to my massage being at the time I arrived did not have time to discuss the charge because I was rushed to my service. The massage was excellent and in a private room. There is no skin touching, everything is done on top of a sheet. The body scrub was also great. You are given tip envelopes after each service. The facility was great and the rooms were nice and relaxing. The room to relax in could be a little bigger. The place was very relaxing but I was upset about the charge. I will defiantly go back but will book online or ahead of time. It was pretty busy for a Saturday. read more

I love this women-only spa and its mugwort tea bath. This spa is great if you don't want to be surrounded by kids and families at the mega-spas in K-town. Still, this spa is not too tiny (much better after its remodel) and has a great sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi's. The cold pool is great to stimulate the senses. Parking was valet and convenient. CAUTION: If you don't want to be surrounded by actress types with great bodies, you might want to skip here, LOL, because that is all that seems to be slinking about. I'm kidding - still go! TIP: There is a good vegan place around there (forgot its name, Yelp for it) that serves EXCELLENT healthy smoothies (have to drive there). Would be a good place to stop for a meal and smoothie after your spa day. The vegan restaurant is attractive inside as well. Both these places are not exactly in a nice-looking section of K-town, but they are great places. You can even bring your work to Olympic and sit on the floor or in the cafe and do it. I saw some folks doing that. It looks like a relaxing space to work. There is a restaurant here but I have not tried it recently. read more

As my first Korean spa experience, it was really well! I've been avoiding going because of the fact that you're completely naked. If you're not naked, it's more awkward (trust me). One of my closest friends that I've known forever and her sweet cousin invited me to go. I'm not sure I would have gone with anyone else for my first time. We got there at 1030am on Sunday. We tried to make pedicure appts but they were already booked for the day until later in the evening so two of us opted for an hour facial ($60) and the other girl decided to just enjoy the spa amenities longer. The place is very clean and large. You walk into the room and given a locker with a towel and robe. They have a Himalayan rock room (my favorite), hot tub, tea bath, cold tub, steam room (super hot, i couldn't stand being in there too long) and sauna. They have nice showers with great water pressure, too : ) it comes with lots of hand towels, body soap, shampoo and conditioner. They also have blow dryers, brushes, hair ties, q-tips, hot water, cold water, tea, and coffee complimentary. Inside they have a lounge room that you can use your phone in with a full service kitchen. Their food is super good! We got their veggie sushi and dumplings. My facial was lovely! The hour went by so fast, I wished i had done the hour and 15 minutes instead. My girl, Jami I believe was her name, had the softest hands ever. I came out feeling like a new woman! Valet parking is complimentary (tips) but there is street parking as well if you get there early. We ended up staying for about 4 hours. Everyone was so sweet. No awkward stares or judgement. People were just there to relax. Next time I go I will bring my own sandals to wear around because they do not provide sandals. read more

My friend and I were very relaxed and happy after our Bliss package of an amazing scrub, massage, scalp massage and facial. Crazy amount of work those Ladies do for a great price! My only complaint is the signage is not very good for explaining what tub is what for a first-timer. The heated marble floors are wonderful for lounging. But more blankets and cushions would be nice, especially for us older girls who could use the extra comfort on the hard floor. And WHY can't people shut the fig up and be quiet??? Even with signs posted everywhere, people are still flapping their yaps. Staff remind people to keep their voices down with little results. There is a designated area for cell phone use, but YUP, you guessed it. Someone Talking Loudly in the wrong area in plain view of a "no cell phones" sign. Sigh.... read more

Amazing! I was a WISPA addict but I think I found my new addition :) Parking: There is a private lot that does complementary valet parking. Feel: You walk through the entrance and down a long corridor where you are greeted by two lovely ladies. It was my first time so they gave me a little tour of the place. It's one story and women only Spa. When you walk through the double doors there is a shoe locker where you place your shoes. The rest of the SPA area is SHOE FREE zone. To the right is the actual lockers where you change out of your clothes to either naked or they do provide a robe if you don't feel comfortable walking around naked. There is a: Infrared , Jade, Salt, Sauna, Steam Room. I heard there was a clay room but I could not find it for the life of me. LOL They also had a warm dipping pool and a cold dipping pool and a mugwort pool. All are AMAZING!!!!!! I purchased the PURE BLISS SPA TREATMENT at $105 and it was worth every penny. You can go on the website and see details. The lady did an excellent job. Food: AMAZING!!! I got the meat sizzle plate and it comes with rice and side dishes. All fresh and super tasty. My absolute favorite relaxation place! I have been to American spas and foot massage places, and this place still has my heart. Yes, in the two years I have been going there the price did go up slightly, but still worth every penny. I go there about once a quarter, and I have never had a bad experience there. I have tried their relaxation massage with a scrub added. While the massage was very relaxing I still have to stick to my first love, the pure bliss package. Pure bliss package includes a body scrub, full body massage, scalp massage, shampoo, and facial. All this goodness for a very reasonable price. All of the the massage ladies have been amazing. I recommend this place to any one who needs to relax on a budget. American spas and foot massage places are more expensive and less relaxing. Olympic spa is an all female Korean spa that is small and humble in size but has all the features needed for a relaxing spa day. It has complementary valet parking so you never have to worry about where to park and all services are clearly listed on their website for you to make appointments. I highly recommend to book ahead of time so you can relax and know the amount of time you have ahead of time to soak or steam in the jacuzzis or steam rooms. I have gotten facials here and body scrubs and both have been wonderful. I do like how they charge less for petite people for body scrubs since I have had that experience of them having being finished early and just repeating more of what they were doing to fill up time. The cafeteria serves a small but good amount of dishes since relaxing makes for a hungry stomach! My favorites have been the tofu, dumplings, soon du bu and kalbi. Bring cash for tipping the nice ladies who provide the services and relax! For those who may not be so comfortable with the ELEPHANT in the room... YES you will be naked - but so is everyone else and it's a great starting place to learn to get comfortable with what God gave you! Relax and enjoy ! This was my verrrry first visit to a Korean spa. Uhmmmmm, I wasn't expecting to walk around w/my bits hanging out, but ce la vie, when in Rome, errrr, I mean, a Korean spa. I was uncomfortable at first, not gonna lie. Then, getting a scrub down completely naked was also, an awakening. Ha. But, learned to relax. I paid for the infamous scrub massage that everyone raves...besides reading about Olynpic Spa in magazines, 3 separate people, who do not know each other, mentioned this massage & location to me. It was meant to be.... I wish I knew her name, but my masseuse was so hilarious. She also scrubbed the sh*t outta me, for realz!! She really made me feel comfortable & we both laughed at my naive, spa inexperience. I tipped her big. I am just glad I did not slip off the table. Seriously. Hehehe 5 stars for my treatment, for the masseuse and the cleanliness. The hot stone salt room...OMG. Go. In. There. Detox. Release. Omg. 5 stars. 5 million stars. There is street parking, but there is free valet available. Just pull behind the building. It was soooo worth it. Just tip your valet. They keep us safe & feeling comfy, door to door. I will be back. Pros: It's a nice Korean Spa. The food is good and the scrubs are nice; the mugwart hotpool is unique ...i have been going there for years... until last night happened... Cons: When did it get so popular and so fkn LOUD and what's up with the impatience of the valet guy...? Omg! I went there to relax, unwind, get a scrub, eat wholesome food, and be in serenity, while nourishing myself, in PEACE!.... The valet guy was pushing me to grab the tix. I told him i want to put something in the trunk and he still made me grab the tix..so i did and dropped the tix on the ground...guess who had to pick it up? Relax dude, no one was waiting for you. Just rude.. while in the spa every room I went in...including the baths, saunas, kitchen (of course), etc. I couldn't just 'be' ...i couldnt get away from the oxymoron of ' whispering loudly' to the just being straight-up loud yapping..it was nonstop; I felt tenser and tenser by the moment...it just sucked. I work with teenagers, I don't need to be around adults who can't catch a clue. The most calming time i had was getting scrubbed , which in itself was great, besides being washed-down with cold water and the adjummas talking to eachother nonstop,...i consider even THAT to be the best moment. When I left, abruptly and earlier than planned, I told the ladies at the desk, that I was more stressed out then when I walked in ...and how loud it was in there... no one said anything. There were three girls upfront who didn't even acknowledge my discontent at all. Nothing! She just took my credit card while the two other girls just yapped to each other. Wtf... ? CONCLUSION: WHY are we so afraid to be in silence? Even while at a spa!!! Now, how can I get my time and my $67 dollars back? I love this spa. Such a healing oasis. I've been going here for almost 15 years. I've watched it change over the years but what a great blueprint to a healing spa. The best Hot Sauna, Steam Room, Salt Room, Cold Dip and you can't forget the legendary Mugwort Jacuzzi. I just love the infrared room. I feel like it takes years off me. This place is great. I loveeeeee this place. My girlfriends and I made the mistake of not booking the super treatments in advance but we came early and were able to get some massages booked at least. Please keep in mind that this is an all female spa and you will be naked. The facilities are very clean and thankfully, with all the white noise, you won't have to feel like you're walking on eggshells as you need to be quiet. I had Eva massage me and she did a fantastic job! Very professional and so kind! There's a million signs posted so you won't get lost with the process. They actually had several options but the layout of the place was more chaotic rather than calming. I honestly didn't really use the amenities much. I had booked the Swedish massage and a scrub. Highly recommend getting a scrub. They scrub your body and wash your hair. Feels amazing & you'll be surprised how much dead skin they scrub off! Man this place has changed. After experiencing wi spa and century spa, this place is not worth the price (30$). Very small facility with Not that many options for steam rooms, saunas, etc. when I came here years ago, the mug worth bath was extremely potent with the herb (you could tell cuz the water was pure brown, like tea that's seeps for a while) when I came in today, it was clear and didn't even look like it had mug worth in it. I was also having an alright time until I hit the restaurant in the back. They ruined my whole time here. I ordered bim bim bap with meat. When the bim bim bap came, it has NO rice in it and litterly 4 small pieces of meat. I had ask the lady why isn't theire any rice in the bim bim bap, and she said that the customers don't like it. Wtf?! Bim bim bap is supposed to have flippin rice in it! So after going back on forth on this nonsense, she comes over and gives me the tiniest bowl of rice. So I basically paid 18 for some veggies. How nice. I will never come back to this place again. Not worth the money. For the exact same price, you can go to century spa or wi spa and get 100 times more amenities and not ripped off on food. Oh yeah and to top it all off. About 15 minutes after I posted this review, I went outside to smoke a cig. The ladies at the front desk told me to go outside into the parking lot, no problem. Then when I went outside, the valet man told me to not smoke in the parking lot and to go outside of their gate to smoke. Mind you, it's 90degress outside, barely any shade, and I'm in those semi transparent green robe butt naked underneath. I'm not about to look like a cheap hooker smoking a cig outside their gate on a main st. Super dangerous. So after bickering back and forth with him, he finally lets me smoke in the parking lot. The body scrub was on another level, takes me back to my hometown of Afghanistan where they have public showers and scrub you down like you've just rolled in tons of mud and let that mud dry for hours. That's right, get all that dirt off my body baby! The women spank my booty to have me flip over on the other side of my body and I haven't smiled so big before. I've NEVER imagined that I would be getting spanked by a mid 40 year old Asian women before. Lololol!!! Aside from all the spanking, you don't want to leave this place! You can spend hours and hours in here! It's like sharing a home with all these beautiful naked ladies that come in all shapes and forms (God this review just got really crazy hasn't it? hahaha) BUT on a more serious note, after a nice long scrubbing and long hours of just being in this sweet laziness, you can go into their food court and order all these amazing dishes!
