We got the stuffed jalapeños and the burrito special. Both were so good - the brisket burrito was INCREDIBLE. Easily one of the best burritos we have had and was bursting with so many flavors. The texture was amazing as well and it was huge so split well for 2 people. The service was also incredible every single person was so helpful and funny and made us feel so comfortable to ask any questions!

First of all....amazing food! We are from the Cities and were in town for a long weekend and wanted to try some local places. We were swayed to try this place due to other Yelp reviews and are so thankful we did! We started with an appetizer of fries. These were SO good! Perfect combination of crisp and soft and served with tasty sauces to dip in. The main courses were wonderful. I had the chicken burrito bowl which was a flavor explosion of fabulousness! Huge portions with plenty to take home. My husband had the burger and raved about the flavor combination. He would have liked the ability to choose how he wanted it prepared as he prefers more of a medium rather than done burger. My daughter and cousin both got sandwiches and enjoyed them completely. The side items at our table also got raving reviews including the cream corn, the grits, and the fritters. Nothing was sub par! My granddaughter did not like her Mac and cheese as it was made from scratch and not a box and the flavors were a little more adult than she is. :). The only negatives we had were minor. Kids receive a menu with a coloring page but no crayons. Hard to occupy them with just a picture. The second is the inability to have your burger done to your taste. The last was the server was not very attentive. We had to ask for drink refills and she promptly forgot to fill them. Didn't check in enough to see if we were ok. However, the person who brought out the food was super good and helped increase the service rating. Overall, because of the quality of the food we would recommend and return ourselves. They have a wonderful patio for outdoor dining and we would love to try that in the future. Even though we were there during the lunch rush, it was not too loud to hold conversation and it felt very homey! Perfect summer evening venue!

This was by far the best place I went to in Duluth. Everywhere I had gone that night was super busy, including OMC. The difference is when I saw at the bar, I had a very prompt interaction with one of the bartenders. I was provided fresh pork rinds to try the bbq sauces with. The horseradish was my favorite. They gave me a breakdown of the entire place and stayed very attentive. I try to not bother anyone except whoever my waiter/waitress is, but here it didn't matter. Everyone behind the bar was very kind and helpful. They gave me phenomenal recommendations on the food and drinks. Even the patrons all seemed genuinely happy with everything they ate and gave me recommendations on the food and the area! I ended up trying the creme brulee, gourmet Mac and cheese and an old fashioned. All of it was exceptional. The Mac and cheese was genuinely my favorite food from the weekend. The other thing is the

This BBQ spot in Duluth has become a North Shore family tradition! We venture up from the West Metro 2-3 times a year and always make a point to stop at OMC. We continue to have enjoyable experience here and certainly have our go to favorites on the menu, like the BBQ bowl. This time I deviated course a little bit and tried the loaded Mac and Cheese. The beef brisket seemed a bit dryer than normal, but since I like to smother the meat in any of the 4 amazing sauces anyways I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Rising prices, and the continued addition of hidden fees on the bill make the value feel less compelling, but I feel that the food and friendly service still make it worth it!

We came late on a Saturday night. They told us it would be almost 2 hours as there were 24 ahead of us, but the wait was about 40 minutes. A lot of people just no-showed. We tried several items in our group. Smoked OMC Plate: St. Louis-style ribs (2), sliced brisket (4 oz.), and 1/4 smoked chicken - very good Mac and Cheese - okay Roasted Bacon and Blue Cheese Potato Salad - didn't like Fire-Roasted Poblano Creamed Corn - excellent Our server was okay but too busy. Drinks were never refilled. My son loves this place. I just didn't feel like it was special.

Beef brisket - a tad dry/dense, and killer sides - baked beans and mashed sweet potatoes with a sweet crunch. Very yummy!

This is a pretty awesome place. Situated in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Duluth, which is funky and eclectic. The brisket was good, the pulled pork was good, the sauces were good, but the sides were great! Fun atmosphere and very friendly staff!

Tons of small sauces. The Alabama white BBQ was my favorite!

Are you looking for BBQ on the North Shore!? This is BY FAR the best BBQ in Minnesota! So when you are in Duluth, make sure to stop! There is a little bit of parking but I find it's hard to find parking and normally just do a "to go" order. This can be done online! The service was fairly quick on the Saturday I went. Everything I ordered was on my bag and they did include silverware. This place does have a cool patio with fire pits. The sweet smokey smell throughout the place will have your mouth watering! The food: THE MUST GET ITEMS: The brisket! Holy moly! It is soooooooo good!!! Best I have ever had! Also the sweet potato's with the candied pecans oh my goodness yum! The ribs here are also BEYOND YUMMY!! They changed the size of their sauces. You can get plenty of sauce but they come in small containers... not a fan. I wish they were bigger again. The hush puppies were not worth it. And the hot honey had a funny taste to it. The corn bread is a bit dry. Those I would skip. The pulled pork is pretty solid. The chicken is also delicious! My boyfriend had the Mac and cheese and it was creamy and had a great cheesy flavor! There is a park with a playground 5 minutes from here if you want to do a pick up!

Solid bbq joint in Duluth! Spacious and well cleaned restaurant with authentic and rustic smokehouse feel. Ordered and shared the OMC Smokehouse plate ($37) substituting the ribs with pulled pork. I enjoyed all the meats but believe the brisket was the best with the honey bbq sauce! All of the meat was moist and tender. I think the portions of pork and beef were pretty slim for the value but that's America these days I suppose. For sides, we tried the OMC beans and the Mac n cheese. The beans had some spice and great flavor. The Mac n cheese was bland and unremarkable but balanced the beans' heat. Service was outstanding! Server Mariah (according to receipt) set this place apart! She was fun, friendly, personable, and always on top of it!

I was only in town for 2 nights and in my second night I decided to not eat at the hotel. This place was 5 mins away so I gave it a shot. What a gem. It wasn't busy so the hostess not only walked me to the bar but also made my drink. I totally enjoyed the pork rinds so I could try all the bbq sauce they offer. I was handed off to a young sweet bartender who was very enthusiastic about everything I wanted to order. I settled on the Pit Master sandwich. It was amazing and satisfied my bbq craving. Because I was on a work trip I decided to get dessert. The brownie was warm and the whipped cream with infuse with bourbon. I believe the sauce was a vanilla butterscotch with pecans. What made is really good was it was a corner piece. I like the vibe of this place.

OMG for OMC! We live in the twin cities so this is only our second time here but wish we could come more often! Service is friendly and attentive. Great outdoor waiting area. We came during Happy Hour on a Monday and ordered the wings and sliders from the HH menu. Chicken wings were so crispy and flavorful. Both came with a side of fries. For our meal we ordered the brisket and ribs that came with two sides (your choice). Brisket was smoky, tender, and flavorful. Ribs had a great dry rub and fell off the bone. Their house made sauces are so good!

Smoked OMC Plate Collard Greens and Creamed Poblano corn

WOW! I know why this BBQ spot has won awards and is a must stop when in Duluth. From the cool alley style patio seating, laid back interior and the wonderful staff- I cannot wait come back. It was our first time, and our server took the time to explain the sauces they have and that using the pork rinds was a great "app" and way to sample the sauces while we wait for our meals. We ordered the Smoked OMC plate with ribs, brisket, smoked chicken and added on the sides of Poblano creamed corn and collard greens. Everything was so tasty and well-seasoned. I especially loved the collard greens and ribs. All the meats were juicy, well-seasoned without being too salty while the sides added another layer of comfort to the meal! Check them out!

This is carnivore's heaven right here! All the smoked meat you imagined eating is right in front of you! Pork rind came with 4 different sauces which were all lovely on its own. They have local beer and cider available. Our server was extremely helpful in figuring out which one to order. Hubby settled on the haystack burger which smoked brisket -- loved all the smoked flavors in there. The hush puppies complemented the heavy meat well. I had the corn muffins and they were heavenly soft and sweet. Love this local BBQ joint. Highly recommend it for meat lovers, you won't regret it!

I took half home and enjoyed the rest later. Heated up perfectly with a 20 second zap in micro. My son had the corn beef hash skillet and said his was just as good as mine. We both agreed that we had no idea why reviews were negative, especially going on a busy morning. We will be going back every time we visit. I recommend you do too.
