I read some mixed reviews after a good experience a few years ago, so I thought I would give this place another try. We walked in and told the host how many in our party and were seated immediately on a summer Friday morning. 3 out of 4 party members were present when we sat and our server brought us 2 waters. We ordered a half carafe of mimosa and half carafe of "Bellini". They were accurately described as 3 glasses worth. However, the Bellini did not taste like peach juice. we didn't complain because we did like the flavor. I was excited to see iced coffee on the menu, but was concerned when the coffee came out a light brown color. The coffee was very weak and did not taste good. I added a lot of creamer just to be able to finish it. Our server told us to put the salt grinder at the end of the table in order to get get attention when we were ready to order. Most of us were pleased with our food. I enjoyed my scramble although I thought serving the potatoes on top was an interesting choice (it was described like that on the menu). My friend's steak was very fatty. The waffle was dry. The other egg dishes were good. Overall, this place was nothing special. The food was fine. The drinks were not good. My iced coffee was BAD. We went for a brunch date. This is my partners favorite breakfast spot as he loves eggs Benedict. And when he had the French toast he closed in eyes in disbelief at how good it was. I had the munch burger which was yummy and very messy. The egg yolk went everywhere but I ate every bite. And the fries were yummy. We parked in the parking garage which had plenty of free parking. I've never had a bad meal here. I love the decor - it's very warm and inviting. My hubby is obsessed with the charcutier bread bowl and honey mustard sauce. This is loaded with meats, cheese, and eggs. My favorite is the cheesesteak omelette. I tried the cheeseburger this time and although it was pretty standard, it was still tasty. My husband was very excited about this place and so he decided he wanted to take me to try it. Excited, upon arrival, I knew I was already going to order the famous spiked hot chocolate. I've heard wonders from my husband and mother in law about this hoy chocolate. I also decided to order the lobster egg benedict, since my husband did say I should get what I really wanted and not what I thought might be affordable for his pocket. I have to say the hot chocolate was more then what I thought it would be! You definitely taste and feel the vodka if not careful Now that is a real spiked hot chocolate! I was so excited to try this place out since my whole family enjoys lunch and we were celebrating a special occasion. The person that greeted and seated us was great! The place is nice and clean. You can see that they run a nice business. As we got back to our table, our server did not seemed pleased to be there for us. Not a single smile, not a "I'm Emily and I'm here if you guys need anything else." See, once we ordered we really didn't see her again after the food came out. We didn't get any refills after the drinks came out. We had to ask for napkins, syrup (having pancakes, waffles, and French toast in the same table), and even switch around our plates since they were served to the wrong people. In the process of that mentioned above, my aunt had a vegan burrito and it was served to my step dad. He accidentally bit into it and when our server realized that it had been a mistake she asked him "should I give it to her?" And he immediately responded "no"! She processed to go ask my aunt if she would take the bitten burrito. And asked her "I'm not sure how close you guys are!" ... like really !? She took the plate back. And then we waited for her new plate to come out. I was in shock! Never have I ever experienced something like that! I've worked in customer service as long as I started my career. The restaurant looks nice inside. However, when we walked in there were 3 booths with customers and every other booth was dirty. Several other tables were also full of dirty dishes and many others empty. No host to greet us for several minutes. Finally someone sauntered up front from somewhere in the back. They agreed to clean a booth then stood around and did nothing for 5 minutes while waiting for the busser to go clean the booth (when I worked at a restaurant, I would've cleaned the table myself, even if I were a host and it "wasn't my job"!) The menu is complicated for a breakfast menu (columns and rows- you choose the number of eggs, then the toppings, all have a different price depending on the row they're in) and when you get to the final price of an omelette, it is very expensive. This place makes First Watch seem like a bargain... and that is difficult. (Also- first watch has delicious food, so it's worth it) I saw the presentation of other people's food as it came out, and it looked good, especially the pancakes. Our omelette was good, but not worth the premium. The eggs Benedict was mediocre. (They charged $2 extra for extra hollandaise sauce! I was surprised to see that when the bill arrived!). The butter on the toast had a funny oily taste... not like real butter. And if you ask for extra, it comes out in little chintzy plastic mini containers that are miserable to unwrap for a thimble-full of fake butter. By the end of the meal, I could understand why the restaurant had so few customers. We won't be going back. read more

Came in for breakfast with the family. They are doing good with covid. Food was good as normal got the French toast so you can't go wrong plus that's always my visit choice. The only issue is now they are charging for items they never did before. Like another side of hollandaise sauce, tomato & cheese. It don't state it on the menu not was we made aware at time of order. If we knew no big deal but all the other times they never charged. I get why with covid and they keep losing money but just inform us guest when we order. When you poured syrup out of it, it leaked/dripped out the bottom,top,sides all over your other food. That is pretty dirty. It would be better to put the original store container on the tables. Went to Omelet bar for the 2nd time today and I still love it! I had the pineapple upside down pancakes this time around, which are a must! They had pineapple and cherries in the actual pancake, topped off with like a cinnamon sugar "glaze" and whipped cream; so delicious I didn't even have to use syrup because the glaze was enough. I took advantage and did the 3x combo and got eggs and bacon. Omelet bar doesn't disappoint. Seating was fast for a Sunday at 10ish. Always good food here. I drove by this place more times that what I can count so I finally decided to stop because it looked way too good to don't. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed. Ordered breakfast and began with an omelet and a crepe dessert for my kid. The omelet was ok. Nothing special, nothing wow... honestly I could have made it at home easily and it was cold. The crepe was definitely done with rush and without any care ... the fruits was not even cut; there were huge chunks of banana on it and they put so little to not Nutella that it was more like a crepe of strawberries and bananas without anything on it. I came on a Saturday morning around 11am and expected it to be packed with a long wait, (they're only open 7am-2:30pm everyday) but we were seated right away. By the way... those were the best tasting fries I've ever had in my life!!! They were perfectly cooked and seasoned kind of cajun style, but not overly so. I asked for a side of ranch dressing which was thick creamy and delicious as well. For my actual food I ordered the Choco Hazelnut Waffles. They looked beautiful, but came off more cakey than crispy. It was good, but I would have preferred them cooked a little more. The portions were decently sized and worth the price. I expected this place to be way more expensive than what it actually was. Also special acknowledgment to our Server Emily G!! She was super sweet, courteous patient and knowledgeable. She gave awesome recommendations, checked on us regularly and made pleasant conversation. Now, this place wasn't packed, but it wasn't slow either. So the fact that Emily was so attentive was great. She's a big reason for my 5-star rating.
