I went here with 3 friends. The wait staff was nice but was confused easily. She didn't know much about the menu and she got flustered easily. She got one of the orders wrong and had a hard time making change. Two of my friend's shrimp fried rice was cold. My beef pho wasn't hot either. The waitress told us our drink was included in our order then tried to charge us for it. The surroundings were pleasant and clean .The bathroom was average clean but one toilet the handicapped one was broke and full of tissue.Not sure if I'll give this place a second try. Being tired of all the local offerings, I wanted to try something new. "B2" on the menu (noods with grilled pork & shrimp egg rolls) is now the new fave. I ordered take out & waited... probably not more than 10-15 minutes. When I got home, I was happy with my food. Presentation was still nice & food was amazing. The grilled pork was perfect, noodles had a nice chew to them, veggies & egg rolls still crisp. The sauce brings it all together. I'll be back for the pho, but if I want something different, B2 will be my go-to. read more

Went there for the Grand Opening and had a great time! The food is authentic Vietnamese and awesome! We stared with the GOI CUON spring rolls and they were cooked perfect with a nice crisp to them. Then I had the BUN THIT NUONG CHA GIO (B2) and my wife had the COM CHIEN BO LUC LAC (C5) both dishes were cooked perfectly and more the enough for portion size. Fantastic spot bad location. This restaurant needs to be closer to the city and more accessible. The location is Shorewood which I had only heard of and didn't actually know where it's located at. I went here with my hubby only because our accountant is in the area otherwise we never come this far south. The restaurant itself is trendy and huge with a cute OMG pho sign. Reminds me of the Hampton Social ... trendy right so what are you doing in Shorewood? As far as the food, I had the chicken pho (pho ga). Broth was great, it came with an egg which I've never seen before but I didn't mind it. I brought home the rice pork dish and my parents liked it. Wish they could offer more smoothie options. If this location was closer to Chicago in a city like Lagrange or Oak Brook then I would be here everyday since pho ga is my jam, but alas it's so far away. I wish them the best though and hope they're around for tax season next year read more

Went in for my first time yesterday. Interior is very cute and modern. There were about 3-4 other tables that were full and the first thing that I immediately noticed is that the atmosphere was so quiet. There was no music playing and I was afraid to have a normal conversation in this restaurant. The server was very nice and the food was ok. It was tasty and it had good flavor, but I wasn't amazed with my dish. I got the sautéed tofu with the veggies in curry sauce. Honestly, I could've made this dish at home. I also ordered a green tea smoothie with tapioca (they ran out of the avocado I wanted and suggested the green tea smoothie that is not listed on the menu). The smoothie had great flavor and texture, but the tapioca was too mushy which in turn made them difficult to go up the straw. I like my tapioca more firm, but that is just personal preference. Overall, OMG pho was ok, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. I'm glad I tried this place out though! read more

This place is awesome! Very comforting vibe with a bar, some tvs and friendly staff. pho hits the spot on a cold winter day. I highly recommend the shrimp egg rolls to start- shrimp is finely shopped and tastes unreal. Dry chili chicken is also very good. Meatballs are kinda weird texture in the noodle soup, so stick with p1 instead of p2 if you're unsure what beef soup you'd like to try. 10/10 would come here again, especially bc the food comes out piping hot, just hot I like it read more

I have only been here for take out but last night we ate in. The COVID measures were okay as it was quiet, not sure they'd space you out if it got busy though. The food was decent, I love their fresh spring rolls and peanut sauce. The soup we ordered was all spice and no flavor which was a shame. Our server was really nice but the owner apparently decided in her wisdom to add a "COVID TAX" of 10% to all bills - seriously I'm supporting you and you tax me for that! Stumbled upon this place and thought I would give it a try. I did takeout. They do a great job of packing everything so when you get home you put it together. I had to start with the shrimp summer rolls. A3. I love them. You get a peanut sauce but she gave me another sauce that was also very good. I went with the P6 Pho Tom Thai- noodle soup with shrimp. The shrimp was nice and big and very tasty. It's a lot of Pho, leftovers or share for sure! Good prices and nice friendly staff. They have a large ear in area with a bar. This location has changed owners a few times but we decided to try it since we were in the area. The interior is still nice, lots of wood and a large green wall. We were greeted immediately and told we could sit wherever we chose. The server was pleasant and was available throughout the meal. We ordered the pork spring rolls and egg rolls for our appetizers The pork was a pink color but the waiter warned us first which was smart. The egg rolls were standard in comparison to others I've had. The pho Tai was really good. This was the best out of all three meal. The bun bo xao was good but needed more noodles. The fried rice was too greasy for my taste and was a bit too crunchy but had good flavor. The portion of rice was a bit small for the price though. One negative for us was they do not serve Thai tea but they did have Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk which I will say was really good and strong. read more

We loved this place!! The atmosphere was so beautiful. We noticed that the service was very fast and accommodating. We ordered the spring rolls and they were to our table within just a couple minutes! We got water to drink and it tasted like cucumber water which was very refreshing. I ordered the Bo Luc Lac (C2, picture attached) and my husband ordered the OMG special pho (P3). We both thought our food was amazing. The steak in my dish was extremely tender and seasoned very well. The vegetables had amazing flavor. A well deserved 5 stars in my opinion. :) Also, I have half siblings that are half Vietnamese. Their dad's family moved here after the fall of Saigon. I grew up around them, eating awesome Vietnamese food, and hearing of their culture. I thought the food here tasted authentic. We love OMG Pho. Weve been ordering takeout here for several years now and the food is always good. Never had a complaint. There's one review on here that makes me mad, about being served "raw meat" but that is the traditional way pho is served. That person is super wrong for leaving a bad review because of that. They don't serve it raw anymore, which is a bit sad because that's how it id supposed to be served, but understandable if this area doesn't understand the dish. This was our first four way into Vietnamese food outside of the city of Chicago. We used to go to a place there just primarily for Saigon groups at OMG Pho this is what we had. CA RI GA chicken. This delicious curry dish came with sautéed chicken breast and eggplant and carrots and yams with onions and parsley and the curry sauce it also came with cashews. Everything blended together beautifully the chicken was cooked to perfection and soaked in enough of the curry flavor to make it perfect. We also tried the Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk. It tasted similar to Thai House coffee but it had a stronger and richer flavor more earthy if you will. It was excellent, I believe it is called CA Phe Sua Da The entrée came with rice in the rice was cooked perfectly we were also given to drink cucumber flavored water it was ice cold and refreshing. On the table they had forks and chopsticks and fish sauce and hoisin sauce and of course hot sauce and Sarot Cha and Maggi seasoning. Light jazz was playing and the inside has a very nice feel to it with them with Buddha figurines and elephants it was quite nice. This place has a lot of high reviews and believe them to be true it did not disappoint. If you're looking for some great Vietnamese food outside of the city Chicago this is definitely a must stop. read more

Went here recently. Did carryout. Understaffed as two fellas were the wait staff. Place was busy. I ordered from Justin and had a Vietnamese Iced Coffee while I waited at the bar for my take out. Decent. Had a smooth finish. Ive had a few better , but a lot worse. I said Cafe suh da and he asked my preference for sweetened condensed milk. I said go with what you normally do & it was fine. Usually when I make it at home, I use 2 tbsp myself for about 6-8 oz of coffee. I waited less than 10 min. I ordered severall appetizers cha gho A1 shrimp egg rolls which were excellent & A3 Goi Cuon the combo spring rolls w/ fresh veggies. I also ordered Pho Tai Bo vien. P2 - Beef noodle soup with sliced beef & meatballs. These had tremendous flavor, My daughter was blazing away with her chopsticks and seemed very happy. I like putting the basil leaves( They gave a huge amount of fresh basil) with the cabbage and squirting a bit of lime into the soup. Great flavor, good quality. And their prices are very reasonable. The highest price entree I saw was $16. Most seem to be 12-14. Appetizers are 5-6. Prices dont break the bank. Service seemed real good. Cant wait to go back and dine in. I was greeted by a girl working the counter who I learned was the manager. She was so nice and so helpful to me and then went way out of her way to help an older gentleman who came in later who was picking up an order for his daughter. She gave me a break on desserts and made suggestions about the menu when I told her I liked shrimp and I liked spicy. I enjoyed the food very much. I find it funny how many Americans give Asian Restaurants rave reviews when they've never experienced the REAL authentic flavors of Asia. I'm Asian, this is a staple of food for me growing up. This location is now in its 4th owner, the last owner (#3), the food was very tasty & flavorful! Went in 4/19/19 & it was ok, there was nothing spectacular about the Egg Rolls, Pho or Bún bò Hu - what was amazing was how CRISPY the Bánh Xèo was! It lacked coconut & allot of protein but the crispness was impressively done without it being burned The sweet/sour sauce was so bland, idkw Vietnamese places water it down.
