    Dead fly

Checked in and received our room keys, went to room and key would not work. Tried a few more times and then the door opens - a housekeeper is inside room saying she is doing "checks". She has no cart, no clipboard and was very flustered. Strange start. Room is not well maintained. Sheets have holes, bathroom tile cracked, wallpaper falling off walls. And the same dead fly stayed on the window sill for all 3 nights of our stay. Many nice places to stay in Chicago would never choose this hotel again.

So far, so good. (Will update if anything happens to my car during valet.) Got ourselves a corner room on the 11th overlooking Mag Mile. Quiet hotel, so quiet in fact that the bar on the 4th floor was closed before 9pm? Odd, but okay. Mosey-d on over to Z Bar Rooftop a block over. (I'll leave a review for that place.) Hotel room itself could use some more detailed cleaning, if I'm being honest. The toilet was left un-flushed. I've stayed in worse, I've stayed in better. I'd stay here again.

Flew in from California to attend a graduation. The graduation was not nearby but we decided to stay downtown since everything is pretty much walkable or a quick uber ride away. We shuttled in from Ohare and got here about 2pm. I didn't get the bellman's name but he was the one with the cool moustache! He was amazing and super friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome! He directed us to the check in lobby which is on the 3rd floor. Even though check in was at 4, our room was ready so that was nice especially after all that traveling. The guy that checked us in had no personality but gave us the basic info and sent us on our way. Our room was on the 9th floor and we had a view of downtown and Zara which was nice! The room itself was pretty basic. No wow factor but was clean and had what we needed. The bathroom was simple. As a woman, I absolutely hated the fact that they have a full length mirror on the back of the door and directly in front of the toilet! Of all the wall spaces to put a mirror that's where you guys put it?!! So weird and uncomfortable! And with 3 of us staying, there's no where to look at yourself or apply makeup if someone is using the bathroom. There was a mini fridge and we called up for a microwave so we had a place to store drinks and any leftovers we brought back. There is another mirror at the bar but it's more like a 3D circus mirror and not a functional one. We made our way to the bar on the 4th floor to use our free drink tickets they gave us at check in. The bar area was small but had nice views of the city. Drinks were limited to beer, house wine and champagne. I got a champagne which felt like a welcome to the Omni/Chicago drink! Not the best but it was cold and free so I was grateful and I also tipped the bartender even tho he lacked personality as well. Everyone except the bellman just looked like they were there to clock in and clock out. We did not have a need for room service while we were there so I can't rate them. We had our own toiletries so didn't use any of the ones supplied. The bed was decent but the pillows were awful and flattened the minute you laid on them. Traffic noise could be heard at night but wasn't bad to the point that we couldn't sleep thru it. I wouldn't stay here again tho if I came back. Way too many other hotel options to choose from at a similar price point but I also didn't regret my stay here. Fun fact! The largest Starbucks in the world is located one block over from the Omni! Literally about a 3 min walk!

I chose to stay at this hotel mostly because the rooms were so big. I got a room on a 22nd floor with a nice view. The hotel itself is quiet - I didn't hear my neighbors at all. My only issue concerns cleanliness, especially in the halls. My friends had 2 whiskey glasses left by their room for 3 days straight and I saw some other ones scattered around the halls. Other than that, I was happy about my stay.

We are done staying here. From late check in to dirty floors, dirty mirrors, a broken refrigerator, broken room phone, broken mirror, and filth on the bed* see pictures! They only offered to move us to another room that was subpar! Not acceptable!

Bring your low profile wall charger or risk breaking yours. It's a tight fit between the bed and the bedside port
    Ava M.

They do have bedside chargers. Unfortunately it butts up right against the bed. I broke my wall plug because it wasn't a low profile one. Should have brought the ones I had at home. There's also a slide to protect the port from dust. Ensure you slide it down so you can use the plug. The office table has a similar plug ports so you can see (more clearly) what I'm describing

Description of the 5 floor Starbucks. A must see!

The room was spacious and clean. The service was awesome. In a great location to miracle mile.

Our stay here on New Year's eve was great! Pros: -staff at front desk and outside were friendly and helpful -price was reasonable -our suite was huge (two queen suite) -check out is at noon which is later than other places -room was clean -the bar on the 4th floor was great, we loved our drinks -complimentary hot cider and snacks (maybe just for the holiday) Cons: -we were told someone was coming to help us with our tv but never came -check in isn't until 4 but they had our room ready early so this was okay Overall thank you for a great experience!

Hotel is pretty dated and old. You have to valet at $90 a night and it could take up to an hour to get your car. Marriott, is much better.

Nice hotel, great staff, but $90/night to park is ridiculous even in Chicago. They raise the parking rates every few months.

This hotel was located within the loop near the river, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel rooms are basic and small. We were fortunate to get an upgraded room with two queen beds and an amazing view out the window of the city. The window was large and clean. The beds were comfy with ample pillows. Four pillows were provided. The hotel set up is a bit awkward. Room is best for one person as lacks storage for large luggage. Plus there is not a defined bathroom. The shower is within the bedroom. Fortunately the shower was frosted but you walk right into the bedroom so you must be comfortable with those you stay with. Plus the room does really have a deck and chair to work. The desk is a fold down from the wall. The chair for the deck is located on the wall and not really suitable for long term working on sitting as does not have a back to it. The best thing above this hotel are the staff. The front desk staff are super friendly and accommodating and aim to please. The bartender was super friendly and attentive as well. Lastly parking is not available right at the hotel. You have to walk two blocks. Plus parking cost 59 dollars and that's the discounted rate. Also not really a suitable place to drop luggage off. If you pull up to the front door, you are blocking traffic. Base on price of 400 dollars the night we stayed, I would say it's not worth the stay. Maybe it's worth 200 or less for Chicago.

I want to say that I have had my eye on this hotel for a while now after looking for Hilton hotel locations with a peloton bike, which this one has. Other than that, I loved that the location of this hotel sits in the heart of Chicago, surrounding a plethora of activities which made it the perfect choice for hotel stay to celebrate. Okay, it was an experience going up to the lobby area to check in at this hotel, a blonde moment as I am known for if you follow my reviews. The lobby is located on the 4th floor, so be sure to choose "L" for the lobby because there is no 4th floor button listed in the elevator. Me and two other hotel guests had an adventure going up to the lobby area after trying to figure out where the 4th floor button was. My experience with the receptionist working behind the desk was nothing less than professional. Since my room was already booked through Hilton Honors, the only thing check-in consisted of was a verification of my information, a briefing on what is offered, and the receptionist giving me my room key. For your information, check-in starts at 4:00 PM and check-out ends at 12:00 PM! If you have the Hilton honors application, there is the opportunity to check in with the application, choosing your room, and receiving a digital key, which will allow you to go to your room contactless without seeing a receptionist upon your arrival. I have not used this method, but if you are interested in no contact whatsoever then you can use it with the Hilton Honors application. After locating and entering my room, I thought to myself this is fancy once I took notice of the design and interior color which appeared so elegant! There was a variation of vibrant colors in the room from its curtains to the headboard of the king-size bed, the carpet, and a gold chair that looked like something out of your grandmother's house. Out of all, I just could not take my eyes off the curtains which reminded me of cherry blossoms because of the colors. Inside the bathroom there were liquid products by Gilchrist & Soames Zero% attached to the wall. Throughout my travels, I have noticed that hotels have completely dealt away with the mini shampoo, bath soap, and conditioner products that made great travel hygiene additions. Along with those notable things inside of the room, it met my cleanliness standards. I had no issues whatsoever getting comfortable in the king-sized bed during my stay as my head was engulfed in between the comfortable pillows. While utilizing the shower, I really enjoyed the water pressure; its soothing pressure made me feel very cleansed during each usage. It was wonderful toggling with the spray patterns, with the addictive feel of the pressure hitting my face and body. Other things the room came with that I noticed were a comforter, an iron, ironing board, blow dryer, safe, comforter, a coffee maker (Hamilton Beach), a mini refrigerator, microwave, and USB and AC plugins attached to either the headboard of the bed, lamps, or the television cabinet, which added a nice touch to the room. And the Wi-Fi internet was easy to connect to and not once did I have any connectivity issues with it during my stay. Hampton Inn Majestic, as expected, had an exceptionally beautiful inner interior! As a fitness enthusiast, it was great having a fitness center onsite because it allowed me to keep up with my fitness routines during my stay. I must say that I was pleased to see several dumbbell weights, medicine balls, kettlebells, a decent selection of workout machines, and two peloton fitness bikes which charmed me out of my panties once I spotted them. And oh, honey did I enjoy it on my birthday with the lovely Hannah Frankson as my peloton instructor, who put my legs through torture during her low impact workout. Having the complimentary breakfast was a relief because I did not have to worry about finding a restaurant for breakfast in the morning. And I was highly satisfied with the quality of what was presented. It is served daily from 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM. For you all visiting the city of Chicago, there are plentiful sights, activities, and restaurants within a radius of Hampton Inn Majestic. As a resident, a few that I adore are Willis Tower, Millennium Park, and the Art Institute of Chicago! Next door is the CIBC Theatre, which I noticed upon my initial arrival at the hotel. And if you are looking to explore the city or outer part of the city, the Chicago Union Station, and CTA Train Station are very accessible to-and-from. I would surely book Hampton Inn Majestic Chicago Theatre District again due to my experience with it because the hotel met my comfort needs, and I loved that its location is within an accessible distance of things of interest in downtown Chicago. ~ Live every moment ~ Thomas G
