I even went into the salon in person to make the appointment and specifically pointed out a client whose hair was being styled with curls using a curling iron and asked if they could do something similar for me. The receptionist assured me that it would not be a problem. When I arrived today, the stylist, Elisabeth, was rude and unwelcoming from the moment I walked in. She had a negative attitude throughout the interaction. After I took my ponytail down, she told me that because I have a lot of hair and because the appointment was apparently booked only as a "blowout" and not a "blowout + curls," she only had time to blow dry my hair and did not have time to curl/style it because she had back-to-back appointments scheduled afterward. Instead of trying to help find a solution, she blamed the person who booked the appointment. As the customer, that is not my responsibility -- especially when I booked well in advance and specifically discussed and pointed out the hairstyle I wanted in person beforehand. The entire experience felt unprofessional, dismissive, and extremely frustrating. Now I'm left scrambling last minute trying to find another salon before my event tonight. Completely unacceptable customer service.

My stylist had me select from their options and said "it's all the same" They then washed my hair - and can't lie, the scalp massage was great! The water temp though was so bad, as others have said it just oscillated from way too hot to way too cold. The styling itself was not great, both in process and result. They burned my scalp multiple times and I was shocked when they were done cause the hair was falling in my face and I would literally have to clip it up to see. When I pointed out that I needed more volume at the roots, they said "we can't do anything about that, your hair is flat." I laughed cause I knew it was hopeless after that and just left. I was hoping for beige highlights and got bright blonde. I asked for a refund and was only offered a "fix it at no cost". I declined. Intervention: Reached out to Vance who did my hair in the past. Don't ask me why I just didn't come back. Vance was able to see me pretty quick and did an AMAZING job!! He gave me beige highlights and darkened the base which I just love. I'm tanned skin so the blonde highlights was not flattering. Evaluation: I am forever grateful for Vance. He is very skilled at his craft.
