Tagliatelle with focaccia
Cristalle L.

I thought this spot looked familiar and realized I had previously visited when it was Gusto and had tried their gelato. For dinner, I ordered the Radiatori Rose and added meatballs, while my dining partners had the Tagliatele plus focaccia and Pacifica respectively. I loved the radiatori shape (I had never tried this before) as it had so many ridges and spots to soak up the delicious sauce! The herbed breadcrumbs were a nice touch and bite of crunch, along with the fresh stracciatella cheese on top. The meatballs were moist and tender and generous. I really enjoyed my meal! The focaccia was apparently very light and airy and one of the better ones they've had. We followed that with some dessert - the tiramisu came in a "lava" style where our server lifted the plastic ring and the mascarpone sauce came flowing down. A unique presentation for sure, but i thought it made it a bit too wet for my preference. The others both ordered the cherry panna cotta and thoroughly enjoyed it. One star was lost because it took forever for the desserts to come out and it wasn't busy by any means. I would assume the desserts are premade (and refrigerated) so I thought they just had to bring it out.... However, our server was quite attentive and friendly so it was some kind of kitchen expedition process I think that caused the bottleneck. On a Monday night it wasn't busy at all so it was easy to grab a table (since they don't take resos). We parked at the Creekside community center next door, but there's also plenty of paid street parking nearby.

Gnocchi Porcini

I'm a fan of Casereccio, so when I saw that Onda by Casereccio had taken over the Gusto space, I was eager to try it. So I visited for a weekday lunch with a friend. I don't really remember what the interior of Gusto looked like, but from what I could tell, it hadn't really changed much. We placed our order at the front counter, and found a place to sit. The food took 25 minutes to come out, which felt way too long. My thoughts: - Margherita Pizza: It's more of a Roman style pizza. It cooled down quite a bit before it was served, because it wasn't hot, and the cheese had already hardened. It didn't taste too bad, but I expected more based on the cost. - Gnocchi Porcini: Good. The gnocchi was nice, but it was the sauce that was memorable - rich with mushroom flavours. Overall, it was OK. The pasta was better than the pizza, but took too long for a workday lunch. Quite pricey too.

Poor customer service, expensive and low quality food and drinks; not even close to the previous Gusto at this location! What a pity!

The crust on the Hawaiian was a little better cooked than the other, but nothing that stops you from eating it. They have one red wine that you can get a glass of, paired nice with the pizza. Indoor and outdoor seating. It's not too big a place so seating can fill up fast. The yaletown park is right outside so great place to let kids run while you socialize Nothing too fancy, just a really good pizza place. This will be a good go-to since it's in our neighborhood.

Went at 4pm and they were not busy at all. We opted to sit outside to enjoy the remaining good weather before the winter rains. We ordered a happy hour beer (lager) for $6 and the cheese bread for an appetizer. We ordered what the waitress recommended, half meat lovers and half Montreal smoked meats. The pizza was very tasty - crispy light crust and delicious flavorful meats. The sauce wasn't overly seasoned and was just the right amount. Very good pizza and not too expensive.

Pizza was good but didn't meet the Brussel Sprouts bar. Service though was quite disappointing. We weren't getting the attention of the hostess for several tens of minutes each time we needed something. We waited long enough to get the attention of someone to get some red chilli flakes for the Pizza and finally we just ended up eating the Pizza without the chilli flakes since no one came to check on us for over 20 minutes. The place has a dim light setting for a nice romantic evening dinner date with your partner. Go here for the starters and for a inviting vibe.

The vibe is stylish without feeling pretentious, making it a perfect date night spot. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we sat down. The espresso martinis were fantastic, the Caesar salad was huge and easily shareable, and the pasta was absolutely outstanding. From the atmosphere to the food and service, everything just clicked. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Vancouver.

Woefully sub-average. It is best I can describe this place…read more Entered the place on a Monday afternoon whilst three East Indian men chillaxing in the dining area. They quickly jumped at my presence and returned to their stations as if they're caught slacking off. First idea was to order a deep dish but a few moments later upon entry I decided otherwise. I opted for 2 slices and a pop. Meatloaf and cheese. The sever didn't bother to warm them. They were dry and like old pizzas. Taste is okay/sub/average considering the price but very unlikely I will return.

Ordered two pizzas from here on Uber Eats…read more My friend and I wanted to check out the local deep dish scene, and this seemed to be one of the few places that offered it, so we decided to give it a try. I didn't have very high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by the pizzas here. They offer a variety of veggie and meat pizzas that can be made with regular crust or deep dish style. We ordered a small deep dish margharita ($19.99) and a medium deep dish butter chicken ($23.99) pizza. Both weren't true deep dish pizzas, but the crust was nice and thick. I'd recommend the pizzas here to anyone who likes a breadier crust. My only minor complaint is that the pizzas didn't have enough sauce to complement the thick crust. The pizzas kept well for leftovers too. They tasted just as good the next day heated up in our toaster oven.
